  1. Wait - you have the option to play real, strong players and you're not doing that already? Go to CTF. They've got some very strong players, I understand.
  2. So, yeah. My computer has been down for a few days, and I found out today that the hard drive is 100% fried. I'm posting this from my PSP. Yeeeeeeeeeeah this sucks.

  3. I think he's talking about 2:01 in this video.
  4. Anji is a cool character with some of the game's best avoidance options, terrible abare, and solid but high-risk/moderate-reward okizeme. Those are probably the most important things to know about him. I'd put him at C tier. He's certainly doing well enough in tournaments.
  5. I gave him a 6. Bang's fundamentals aren't difficult to learn, but learning match-ups and Fuurinkazan can be challenging for him (the former because some of his match-ups are so bad).
  6. There is, but it involves moderators. Just copy-paste your question into a new post in the match-up thread.
  7. What I'm saying is that you'd be better off asking about how to deal with counters in that thread than here. Someone there would probably have a better answer than any random passers-by in this section of the site.
  8. Welcome to Dustloop, Skitz! I recommend checking out the Potemkin match-up thread for advice on how to handle Baiken and Anji. The thread seems a little disorganized, but at the very least you could pose your questions to them; they'd be able to answer your questions better than the general DL community, and they'd be more likely to answer them in the first place. Also, purely for the record, neither Sol nor Slayer is S-tier. Sol is C-ish; Slayer is a solid A-tier. S-tier in GGXXAC is Eddie and, debatably, Testament. Check out the tier list thread for more information. If you're looking to take your GG to other players, check out the Matchfinder forum and post in whatever thread seems relevant to you.
  9. Wait, when did GG start having impossible-to-win match-ups like 8:2?
  10. http://www.dustloop.com/ggac/data/conv.html Your best option is an arcade stick, but if you don't have access to one, GG can be played fairly well on a gamepad. Playing on a keyboard is very hard, and if you're talking about a flight simulator-style joystick like I think you are, good luck. Of course, the best way to play is to use a DDR pad.
  11. I Darago I (XBL) Northern Wisconsin My card says I play Haku-Men, but it's a dirty liar.
  12. 10stars: Is the 2B j.4C loop an infinite?
  13. Thank you. Also, what song are we using?
  14. In combos such as j.C > 5C > 623AA > jc > delayed j.C > 2C > jc > j.2C > AD > j.C, I have a hard time getting the j.2C to connect after the 2C on some characters, such as Arakune and Carl. Do I just need to practice the delayed j.C timing?
  15. How can anyone win in 3S? Yun and Chun win almost every tournament, then what winnings are left are divided amongst Ken, Makoto, Dudley, and a bare smattering of mid-tiers. About half of the cast isn't considered tournament-viable. Anyway, Nu is strong, but I'd recommend gathering more information about her and Blazblue's balance at a competetive level before jumping to such derogatory adjectives as "broken". Fair?
  16. You're posting this in the wrong section and you're horribly wrong! That might be a first. But hey, you're new. Learn to play the match-up and you'll find that she's not even close to impossible to beat.
  17. In general, I think that you're correct, but there are situations where it's okay to break combos. Take Anji's Shitsu set-ups, Johnny's Mist unblockables, etc. Anything blatantly goofy (witness any of Kusoru's combo videos, especially his legendary Eddie video) is always very entertaining.
  18. ReaVer, are you suggesting that characters with bad match-ups against other characters will always lose against those characters and/or that hard work can't overcome bad match-ups? Because it sounds as though that's what you're saying.
  19. I'll be maining Haku-Men.

  20. Theory fighting is the act of taking facts about a game, character, and/or match-up and extrapolating them out to make a statement that may or may not check with the actual facts of how said game/character/match-up works in reality. Your assertion was that Haku-Men is automatically dangerous to zoners because of his meter gain. Check your post again versus the definition, which, honestly, you should know, since you claim to play fighters. Does it fit? Absolutely. Anyway, theory fighting's generally okay; even the best will lapse into it sometimes. qwerty makes the point, though, that you are theory fighting without any base at all, as you have not played BlazBlue for any extended period of time. The point I'll now make is that you seem to think that you are more correct about a character than someone who has played that character since his release. That's not theory fighting, that's plain old hubris. Also, qwerty absolutely did not miss your point. He addressed it very clearly. Read his post again. It addresses your assertion that Haku-Men's meter gain makes him dangerous to zoners. I promise you, it's there.
  21. I haven't been on because my Xbox red-ringed. It'll hopefully be back by the time BB drops.

  22. Thanks. You certainly didn't let me down. The comments on that video are hilariously uninformed.
  23. Are there any videos of Hakumen's 100% combo?
  24. For whatever it may be worth to you, Mr. Finland, I'd like to applaud you for your very accurate English grammar.
