So when people call you out on an actually topically relevant mistake you make it's just a tiny mistake, but if someone else says something you disagree with that has no impact over the overall scope of his argument it is a big deal. Throwing a lot of meaningless stones for a guy in a glass house.

Regardless Asledge doesn't appear to be character specific and does very slightly more damage so don't bother testing your combo on other characters. The 5B J.A thing is indeed character specific like I noted.
-
It is exactly the way it looks. Makoto has a very small window on her DP that has no invincibility and is on the ground. Bang's autoguard isn't always a successful counter and 2B has a Really weird hitbox. I've hit airborn opponents behind me with it.
-
Uh, not only are those numbers Very similar but the difference in damage comes from giving up on GF. So sure, we could add it but it isn't "better". Edit: trying it out it looks really unreliable on ragna which doesn't bode well for it as a combo, who are you doing it on? Edit: after a few minutes of testing 4BC 236A 5C AC J.C J.2C 5B 5C 5D is 3089/40 and on some characters you can end with 5B J.A J.B J.D for 3083/41 and better positioning Edit: Also apparently the heat values for the combo you tried to replace are wrong. it is actually 44 heat.

I'd have been passably upset if it was just the Pacman and Megaman, but in my small circle of immediate friends we'd have to buy 10 of those characters and that's just insane. 12 pretty popular characters is such a betrayal. On top of the competitively non-frunctional Gem system this game is looking like the worst tournament fighter of the year. I kinda want to protest this game. Not only do I not want to buy it I don't want a lot of people to buy it.
-
I might have gone "It's not that bad of a deal" if weren't in a fighting game boom. I'm not buying a game so I can wait to buy several of the characters I was excited about when there are other very good and cheaper games. I might have if this showed up during the drought, but not today, not in 2012. It just isn't a good deal.

I no longer have any vietnamese people left to hitch rides with, but I'll still get there somehow. I know one or two people in the area that also have an interest but don't keep up with dustloop.

Well, Bridget can pull himself toward his placed yoyo, and I-no dash puts her airborn, Chip has teleports, and roboky has a weird helicopter flight move. There are actually plenty of stuff that alters physics, but aside from I-no's dash they aren't really defining features.
-
? Rather than weird it is exactly the way Tager is built. He has a small pool of moves that ignore character rate and a really low character rate. He's pretty much always been like that.

My new favorite ender for combos that are just too short to use up the allotted proration, 5B J.A J.B J.D.It replaces 3C GF in magged combos. so stuff like CH5D 236B 2C ACx2 6C J.2C 3C ACwhiff J.2C 5B J.A J.B J.D works and I like it.
-
Yes, but not on the bounce. Meaning they have to bounce Then land before you can GF. That means you can't get much out of it.
-
It was an issue for me a while back whenever I used Bsledge in a combo. I just assumed everyone knew about it and just didn't tell me.
-
4D doesn't work at all because it grounds them too fast. GF whiff only works if you got a knock down or whatever state 3C creates earlier in the combo. So there are many cases in which AC whiff is very necessary and effective.
-
How tight you have to be on it depends on existing proration but the real point is that you can hold the button so it isn't anything close to a one frame link ever in terms of difficulty.
-
It's not much of a counter, the Hammer only has regular hammer projectile armor. So it is extremely unsafe vs anything but the most unsafe of moves. You have to continue to hold the voltech charge when you do the motion and you have to auto guard something. That's pretty much all there is to it.
-
It still doesn't make sense to "use that time for positioning" since you actually get more time if you VC. I pretty much always go for VC if I confirm a fatal. I don't hold it at all though so it doesn't quite block a burst. Well, Sometimes if it is a high anti air 2C fatal I'll charge a little. The extra time can be useful and the extra spark meter can be a big deal sometimes. I can hold it if someone slaps their burst enthusiastically enough for me to hear too. It did suck getting used to though, non-fatal 2C VC is pretty bad. It certainly isn't the most important thing to learn, but it has some merits.
-
Unless the game handles this differently now, that doesn't make sense. Block stun is block stun even if you're holding forward still right? You can't frame trap a reversal.
-
You can special cancel 2C and he specifically said Bsledge. I can't think of a reason to rapid a 2C fatal with all the cool stuff we can do combo wise. While I can't answer his question because I don't have the game, I can say that in CS2 that a Fatal 2C into Bsledge had enough time for 5C to connect nice and low for a good combo. I'm under the impression that Bsledge is a longer move now, so perhaps someone should experiment with using the bsledge as an anti air fatal hit confirm to switch sides out of the corner. Could be nice.
-
If you can't 5B 5C 6A 2C AC you should be doing 2B 2C AC, not 5B 5C. But it isn't that hard, just get used to not wasting time and grabbing them by the edge.

Oh yeah, cs1 was 40. So we're paying less for 2 games over 2+ years than people paid for MVC3 across about 9 months.
-
40 is what I expected 20 for a ps3 game would be way way to little. I've never heard of that ever happening for any reason no matter how insignificantly changed a new title was. Even as a marketing move I think people would question the quality of a game that was just 20 dollars. Besides, CS2 was free, People are paying for 2 MVC3 games in less than 1 year what we would for 3 across over 2 years.

That entire argument was pretty sad in that Tager Did get range/mag buffs.

Noel was always a threat, there weren't many good ones is all. That match up never looked all that bad to me, despite all the complaining to the contrary.
