  1. i can bait anti air's and punish it easy, i'm really dangerous in the air seeing how i can just pop noel if she tries to come at me from the air and i can land short the distance of 6A or just bait the 6C, hell i can just land right infront of you and do 720, not hard to do that, i just cross you up too. i also won't let you get close enough to spam 5A if you noticed, i know what you can do and i got tricks to keep you from doing it, locking you into fighting 1 certain way and punishing you, being tager means being smarter than your opponent and using whatever resources you have to strip your opponent of their tools and beat them to death, simply put i knew noels anti air game so i just came at you in a way that makes 6A harder to hit, hell i crossed you up if it makes it harder for you to use it. damn i need a ps3 so i can play SKD.
  2. sorry i normally don't see that move a lot, i take a wiff 5A as a free poke or 360. dammit your the reason i would get a ps3. i hear its alot of good noels on ps3.

  4. being tager, its your job to outsmart the top tiers, i got away with cross up 720's, random J.2C's, and 6A pumking rushes because i knew what to do, btw 6A pumkin rushes is a very dangerous and hard to do move, not something smart but if you nail it, gonna leave rachel in the face for a long time. this match feels like 6/4 because she doesn't have to make a mistake, then again being smart means forcing her to make a "bad" move and punishing her for it, yesterday a rachel tried to surprise chair me and i baited it and punished, i put her in a spot where she had to chair or she never gets out. you HAVE to do this to truely overcome with tager. rachel feels more like a 6:4 match up, she doesn't have a one-sided advantage over tager. @ SKD: 6A loses to backdash so thats a free punish. then again you might mean 2A. i don't see how its in her favor that much outside of sheer speed and damage.
  5. rachel hops in the air slow so her cross ups are easy to see coming, the only issue is figuring out if she is gonna IAD or just J.2C. tager is a slow jumper so i have to predict 6B since it can hit on the way up because tager is a fatass. 2B may have some stupid wiff but lets throw this situation out. rachel uses wind+pumkin rush down, she got 2 options that can come in a split second, she can rush 2B which will lead into massive damage if she uses more wind or she can TK+wind J.2C. the issue is that its real fast and tough to react to, i just pick my poison and hope i can stand back up to block that TK hit. to this day 2B is the 3rd most annoying weapon she has in her arsenal to me. 1. wind. 2. 6B. 3. 2B. wind just says no to tager and yes to half your health gone to knock down into frog.
  6. we can't really backdash punish it because most rachel's do it at max range which is why IB 360/720 is our best bet. her fat hit box is great to do odd combo's off of, but it only really opens up more chances to magnetize like this. 360B>5C>5D stuff like that is what we can get away with. i'd like to note that when rachel is pressured her only real tool to get out is chair, and that can be baited and punished for over 5000 damage easy, so once you get in on her she have very few tools to stop us with. and i don't know but it seems 5A have a good vertical hit box too, it stuffs tech J.2C alot, any clarifications?
  7. frog eats bolt. frog loses to J.2C, which is the safest way to kill it, sledge can net you pumkin rape. if frog is behind you then just block and IB. the truth is frog gets her sledged or gives you meter, just don't sledge past the frog or you lose half your health. if anything makes this match unfavorable, its the damage rachel can do on tager with just a J.2C and some wind and poof half your health is gone.
  8. thats sad, match-up doesn't feel this crappy. the zoning yes its terrible to deal with, wind+labelia is a problem but your not suppose to be sledging if she is zoning you, solved by just walking and blocking, some rachel's waste too much wind trying to zone and end up having to do it normally then getting sledged because they get backed into the corner, not hard getting close just need a bit of patience. 6A is a good move to stop tager but can you can do shananigans to make it harder to hit, cross-up J.2C can make her wiff and get CH'd you can also control your pace in the air with J.C and still think of things to do, 6A can't be jump canceled so IBing it would make you safe, or barriering it. 6B is retarded lets start off with that, no real punish for tager unless its IB 360/720, believe me! when she starts using 6B i had no punish, i even hopped it but she just 6A'd me, if anything 6B>tager, at least to me. god 6B is such a badass move. J.A nonsense can be negated with barrier or IBing it, rachel tried this mess on me yesterday so i barrier and problem solved.

  10. 1. mashing 5A,2A, and JA makes it hard to punish her. 2. J.B says no to airs. 3. optic barrel is a sledge bait, a smart tager is afraid/annoyed by that move. 4. she has a 5000+ damage corner combo on tager and its not hard to do to him. i want to note that noel's drive is a mix of projectile and physical hits so sledging isn't too bright, CH 28D doesn't play. i'm pretty sure someone else can go deeper in this but to say sledge fucks her up is just bad, to be honest i don't consider sledge a necessary tool in this match, i rather use 360A since it has invincibility but again you got moves that stuff's 360 and backdash easily, plus her mobility, and again A spam! tager can't do anything but IB it. personally me it feels more like a 5.5/4.5 in tagers favor because its not hard hitting noel and taking half her health.
  11. notes. you ran into carl good job your fucked. most the time carls like to IAD in using J.A or J.C both can be beaten with a 2C, J.C loses to backdash. if your sandwiched between nirvana and the doll take the hit, nirvana can punish burst if he doesn't go straight for clap then you can get the fuck out or backdash, hell you do what you can to get out. don't go toward carl airborne, try to stay neutral don't back into a wall nor do you foolishly go near that doll. your pokes beat nirvana except the 4D, then again 4D is the fuck you move so watch it. if carl is using J.2C then you can backdash punish for free. IB the gear super, for gods sake you can MTW or 720 out for free. if you see rapsody of memories then hop out, she can't turn around but keep in mind carl will rush you when you try, i manage to J.C a few carls because of this. anyways not much to add here. discuss.

  15. those combos are great, helps you time the 5C and gives good meter, 2A(CH) links with 5B? damn i got to use that, 2A is a great move. btw your standing pokes all hit ducking tao, including 5C.

  18. yes! spark bolt is wonderful to just hold, then eventually they'll think you won't use it, then they j.D and then you fire! sending their thoughts and dreams into oblivion.
  19. save that spark bolt tao's will never get hit unless you surprise them or your comboing with it.
  20. this fight is real tough stay on your toes. notes. tao knows 1 hit on her means pressure so she is gonna stay on the offensive. like i said before the ground is not entirely safe in this match, she has real strong mix up there so stay on your toes. i don't even think you can beat her in the air so don't risk it. some of you guys said colider works, so its worth it to note. her pounce super can be ducked so if you see her with meter be a bit more defensive or you eat it and thats lame. if tao is going for ground mix up you can normally mash A out of it if she wants to cross up, beware tao can drive cancel 3 times before hitting the ground, in case you guys didn't know the fakes are. 1. she stops instantly and drops toward the ground. 2. she hops behind you. 3. she jumps. punish them as follow. 1. if she stops near you like a dumbass then poke her in how you desire, she deserves it. 2. i found many ways to beat this. 360A, 5A, backdash, and jump away. 3. by theory colider or 2C beats it but tao can drop a J.C on you and that nets her a combo. when your teching block low, tao's 6B is a slow overhead and her only gound one, she can 2A you and restart the flow. all i got for now its up for discussion. corrected for legacy.
  21. notes for this match. take your time and approach, this match requires alot of blocking so learn to IB. you can't beat rachel if your above her in the air, J.C stuffs you and gives her a air combo, if your below her then J.C stuffs her fresh. if she is downed then you can spark bolt her for free. be on your guard rachel wants a CH fork so learn to a get hit by it so she cant combo you or avoid it. her cross ups aren't too threatening because she's a slow jumper. pick your poison her 2B hits low and she can wind J.2C you for trying to block it. if you get caught by frog IB it for free meter, infact if she is dumb enough to use the 6B>6C combo while you block then IB it. by theory you can 720 her before she does the J.C but i never confirmed it, if anyone can confirm it then please do so. to me this match is the easiest to do out of the top 3. just remember she has more reach and great zoning tools. oh and rachels that backdash when you have spark bolt ready deserves it, her backdash is slow enough to punish on reaction.

  23. kyle you have a sadistic carl, i had to get creative to beat those pokes, you mash j.A on my backdash then double jump and i'm like, fuck! he's gonna summon nirvana then cross me up. to this day i'm not sure if its even blockable, just so much stuff being tossed at me i can't tell! oh yeah i figured something out, when you do rapsody of memories, we can poke nirvana out during the flash so you waste 50 meter. gotta watch that. tried it on a carl today.

  25. i forgot to address this but your airs can beat ragna's if your above him, so if you wanna use air shananigans then only do it if your above him, most the time he won't ID you anyways.
