Looking forward to the footage! (If Any) PNW is an inspiration to get better.

I unfortunately lost earlier on in the tournament, but in the end I was really glad to have met so many So-Cal people and gained more match-up experience. In case anyone's wondering, I lost in the third round to a CT Combo Bang, that also did the command throw to Daifunka link. I was pretty salty since the final round I burst one early to All Green the Bang's slide, then 5C instead(Input Lag Everywhere ), which would have won me the match. It was great to meet and play render, Xie again, and a lot of others. In the end I never played Zong-1, but there's always next year or something else. I feel like I did alright later on, but I'm not sure what kind of impression I left (I'm not free, I hope, haha). Good games guys. Come up to NorCal once in a while. ~Chun

"The Litchi player made me cry. Only BnBs, no corner pressure, no hit confirms, no itsuu D cancels, nothing! " The guy who made this comment either A: Did not watch the match, or B: doesn't know what corner pressure, hitconfirming, and stance D cancel looks like.

Thinking about it actually. At the same time I just want to rest and maybe show up 3-4 hours earlier.

EDIT: As of 2:00PM, I will unfortunately not be heading to Vegas. By some random collision of conversations, it appears I will be headed South, but not with Family. I do hope though we can meet sometime in the future. Thanks for your hospitality either way. OLD POST: Thanks for the reply Macc, That sounds great, it's better than being in a hotel room for the good of four days. I will arrive Next Sunday and leave Thursday. If you have a number that you could PM me I'll definitely drop you a line to see when a good time to hit up Game Over would be; I'll be car restricted unfortunately, meaning drop-offs by my folks or otherwise finding ways to travel back to my hotel, but hopefully I can work something out. BB:CS is more my game than SSF4 will ever be, so it's good to know there's a few good guys to play. ~Chun

If anyone from Vegas or anyone that decided for some reason or another to go to Vegas a week early is reading this and plays BB:CS, I'm looking for opponents. I'll be in the Las Vegas area From Monday to Thursday of next week, that is June 28-July 1. If anyone knows of any events or a place where I can go to play BB:CS with some semblance of a crew, I'd appreciate it. ~Chun

Still waiting on Kokonoe DLC. Lolipop loops and everything that made Bayonetta suggestive. Going to Vegas when it's not EVO </3 ~Chun

What's up Las Vegas! I won't be around for EVO due to scheduling on behalf of the family, but I'm very interested in being able to play different people from different regions. I will be in Vegas for 4 days starting sometime early next week. Anyone have arcade suggestions or down for a general meetup? I'm not known like CopperDabbit, Dacidbro, or Goryus, but I do play them regularly, and would like to get even better in BB:CS. Or play SSF4. Whatever works, I've been to Vegas too many times to count. ~Chun
-
So... they'll be around in the afternoon?
-
Any time designated for the Monday SVGL invasion? I'm excited to be able to play so many new opponents. ~Chun

You're not the worst. You aren't around to meet and play the "regular" worst. No I'm not being clever. ~Chun

I almost won 5, but then Rin had his camera on at the time. Also, thanks, I try.

To be fair, SVGL has always been really supportive of our events in the past. I don't think it's right to say anything negative about their own business timing prospects; after all, we don't pay SVGL a dime when these events are run. Jason told me that the tourney is run for free because he makes enough from us playing on the cabinet in the first place, and that's why it's a relatively balanced relationship. He was also there the same day when Nu was unlocked, and orders the newest games in the quickest time possible, and also fixed the buttons as soon as we mentioned them. Sure, we could move to Milpitas Golfland for some summer venues, but otherwise those of you who have this preconception it is a right as arcade customers to run these tournaments every month for free through event mode, are absolutely mad. SVGL has been more than generous to our whimsical tournament schedule for the past year, without charging a single dime for the room and other services. Not attacking anyone, just saying for the sake of the negativity towards SVGL. ~Chun

You know, I always wondered what the title of that song was, or where it was from. Now I know. And knowing is half the battle. Shoutouts maybe later, too busy hating on Chun-Li. How much hate? Well, you'll have to ask.
-
Fun times today. Still a little salty about SF4 range Gold Burst. I hate Chun-Li.
-
You guys suck. An oily Juri is more than enough to hit. With Ibuki even. Better yet, get oily together! Also, forget Chun-Li. That girl is about as attractive as a table topped with two tea cosies and two giant wooden legs. P.S. Add me if you want to play SSF4.

What I'm doing to prepare for the 2v2: Playing Super Street Fighter 4. Guess the two I'm playing! ~Chun

From the Prince of Dropped Combos: Practice makes perfect. Rin, like many others, no one is a prodigy when it comes to playing fighting games... in most cases. TaoFTW was in the vicinity of SVGL and thus got time to practice a lot more. Think of the reward of when you are able to achieve that level of execution. You'll be repping the kitty for good. Essentially, the game is all about fun, as Dabbit told me. Nothing is sad about a dropped combo. These things happen. No one looks down on anyone else for trying to get better and not doing it at that particular instance. Everyone plays and gets better for the sake of getting better against each other; that's what a scene is. You can do it. *Dan Thumb ~Chun
