  1. Well, the thing where the ring appears around her before she dives at the opponent is her drive, which is clearly blockable, even though it kinda looks like a throw if it connects. I thought she had something aside from that that's actually unblockable though. A ground command throw that isn't her drive.
  2. Well, nobody's really a master of Bullet yet, either. I have high hopes for her since I'm hoping she'll be a good Tager alt. Doesn't she has a command throw? I feel like I haven't seen anybody use it yet. I'm hoping it's legit.
  3. Now that is actually a fine question. Though somehow I doubt it. Are there any other AUB projectiles in the game? Of course, I suppose most projectiles aren't for anti-air purposes.
  4. I think the way it worked, last I read, was that the OD didn't force magnetism so much as it had its own unique constant pull, whether you used mag moves or not. I don't think it was really strong, though.
  5. Since the start of this loctest? Because last I heard it was sounding pretty neat, with D moves getting auto wallbounce and stuff. The sort of thing we need to actually get bigger, scarier combos in OD.
  6. Shit yeah. And he can also do that claw super whenever he wants? Awesome. I might actually pick him up. The new dead spike and overall system/style/pacing makes him feel properly Sol-like.
  7. Maybe it's just the sound quality, but those hit sounds are sounding a lot louder and meatier/crunchier. I like. I always felt like the hit sounds in BB were kinda weak. Like it always felt weird to punch somebody as Tager and just get a moderate "whuup"
  8. Or for something else to be made into a solid anti-air. 2C with more invuln would be amazing though.
  9. ... MAH BRAIN. Potemkin: taking back science.
  10. Well I guess as long as the whole game hasn't been slowed down. I always preferred GG's overall pace. Of course with BB getting faster... oh I dunno.
  11. No worries, it wasn't really a jab at you. I mean, in past iterations there was actually a major difference between what you could do after 360A and B.
  12. 3: Yeah probably. Just do a 360 motion and then let him actually jump before hitting C.
  13. Yeesh, that's a scary Jam. Dem corner combos.
  14. I'd kinda prefer adult Makoto with bike shorts like that, to be honest.
  15. Oh no not TEEE-YAAAAAA
  16. Yeah, that health change feels a bit... arbitrary. I wonder why they decided on that one.
  17. Well you still get overdrive afterward. Of course how good that is depends on whether OD gives Tager anything besides mag. Really it's more of a trick to use towards the end of a game point round.
  18. That's why you don't just blow spark right away. Instead you walk forward and use it as a looming threat, until you see an opportunity. Now the diagonal version threatens an even bigger area. We probably shouldn't devolve into theoryfighting though. That's just a general strategy. I'm not saying it dominates all situations or anything. I'm very interested to see how our more obnoxious matchups adjust to it.
  19. Yeah. Just, uh, jump around a lot. Though even that's a bit more precarious what with anti-air spark now. Tager sitting on full resources is quite a threat.
  20. I assume by "tech" you mean "jump out" between the OD and GETB. The answer there would be "no," assuming these things: -OD invuln lasts for all of its activation frames, right up until you get control of yourself -Doing 720 right after OD leaves no gap in invuln frames between OD and 720 (which would be a given, assuming the first thing is true) -The opponent whiffed something that recovers long enough to get counterhit. Considering the fact that both OD startup and GETB superflash freezes the opponent, this would be most moves. If you actually mean throw-tech tech, the answer would also be no because... why would it be techable? Tager landed a command throw outside of hit/blockstun. At any rate, yes I do believe I will enjoy ODing into GETB as a big round/match-winning reversal. It's like doing a freaking standing 720, with a few more frames of (invuln) startup. Now that I think about it, the OD startup makes for some good option select time.
  21. That WOULD be interesting. But I think I was there for that conversation and it got debunked. Like, Hakumen kinda sorta looked like he moved towards tager just a tiny bit but it was hard to tell, and he didn't seem to move towards him at any other time.
