  3. Just called the hotel. It still hasn't been mailed yet X___X Honestly I can do a quick fix to an arcade stick I have now and make it playable on the the 360 but that'll cost me money I don't have right now.

  5. I failed to mention that I do 2x volante combos. But its based off of my position on the screen. Depending on where the corner is, 4D combos won't work properly thus improvising with 2x volante combos are ideal.
  6. The mid combo proration (or P2) of Volante is 89% while 4D is 90%. Not a big difference but there is. But what I meant by the same move proration is the fact that you did two volantes thus shortening your opponent's hit stun time. To be honest I didn't really need to mention that considering how the combo still works so nevermind on that. 2 volantes is fine. But 4D will get you more damage. That is all. Its up to you.
  7. Sorry didn't mean to be a buzz kill. Your combo does a lot of damage. But the second hit of 4D alone does more damage than a volante. Plus the same move proration starts to kick in by doing two volantes.
  8. I approve. And its actually practical. The only thing that would make the second combo strong is a 4D instead of a second volante.

  11. ioKain. I think thats how I started off as well. I first started out doing repetive 2D combos. And after a while I started to incorporate volante and then later 4D. The damage is so good!!!! When it comes to the 4D part of his combos. I can get those pretty consistently (although I'm probably gonna develop premature arthritis because of it). Usually if I do mess up the 4D part of the combo, its because I try to do 4D too soon because I know how quickly you have to do it after the allecan. COME ON CARL PLAYERS GET THOSE COMBOS!!!! My next goal is to learn the timing of 2D in combos like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaQCUJRMYcg (1:10) I can only get the 2D to hit sometimes.
  12. Honestly I think that is great, really. But you mentioned a couple of times that you've been playing Carl since CT like it should automatically make doing his CS combos easier. I'm just saying if you didn't practice the throw loop then you have no idea how hard his 5k-7k CS combos are.
  13. Doesn't matter. Carl's combos are harder than the throw loop. My hands hurt for 2 weeks trying to learn his CS combos.

  15. The person was joking around. Folka= Fuoco as in 41236D. Although apparently the input has changed to 236D. Nobody is 100% on what "guaranteed to come out" but like we mentioned earlier I think it means if Carl does the input and he is hit or blocks an attack Nirvana will still finish the move. If not that then its just a statement confirming that if you input 236D instead of 41236D then the move is "guaranteed to come out."

  19. There are actually a lot of moves in the game that take off primer even if you barrier. Its just that if you have 1 primer left you can barrier once against said move and your guard won't break. After that if you block the move again whether you barrier or not your guard will break.
  20. I think Tager's mere existance is the reason 8D got the nerf. If they would just give him a double jump he wouldn't get raped by 8D so much.
  21. Oh yeah I forgot Hazama got hit with a nerf bazooka as well. Well we'll see.
  22. In the last Loketest was bit misleading. It said that 8D was air-unblockable but you could block with Barrier. That still applies now.
  23. -Fuoco sounds like 623D or CT 8D where if Carl is hit or blocks the move still comes out. That's what I think. -I think 8D is an automatic 2 primers. Otherwise Fuoco should take off like... 7 primers.
