I agree with sinder. The matchup may be 5-5 but Carl is not going to catch Hazama unless Hazama says so. That usually means Hazama has to mess up his runaway or Hazama has to go on the offense and then mess up. Then you're at an advantage.

There have been no reported changes to his backdash. Either way you just gotta bait it. Do a move that is active for longer or delay your attacks if your opponent is backdash happy. Its not Tager/Potemkin good by any means. He loses his invincibility long before he lands.

Yeah Carl is easily one of my favorite fighting games characters (from a gameplay standpoint I mean. I hate his character design). But CS2 carl was not fun, even though I laughed whenever I got somebody in his loop. My friend who has a PS3 and bought the japanese version of EX brought EX to a gathering and man do I love Carl again. I'm pumped for EX.

The thing is Hakumen's range is too good for me to be doing that. You have to airdash at me from farther away so that the only thing I'm anti-airing is your freakin' sword (which ultimately will not go well for me at all).

I thiink I will be back in Raleigh this Wednesday before I leave Friday. My serious games are Ultimate and Extend once it comes out. Its a shame I won't be able to get the American version of BB until 2 weeks before FR. I'm screwed in that department. BBCS2 Carl makes me too mad to play. But whatever. I'm going to talk to Jon and see if he can hold a gathering Wednesday. If we can all make it to that then that will be good.

Man its gonna be hard to comeback again this weekend. Its not that I can't come today or tommorrow its just that I went to Charlotte on Wednesday, and Raleigh on Thursday. That's a lot of traveling. I usually prefer weekends but since so many people insist on having gatherings during the week, I'm left to take care of things here on the weekend. This weekend is the best opportunity to see people again in Raleigh since there's so many people I need to visit but I'm trying to take care of some school stuff and I need to think it out. I know you're very busy in the evenings during the week. Are there any weekdays I could come by? I really wanna play Extend more than CS2. I'm screwed for Final Round because the American version won't come out until 2 weeks before. =/
