  1. From airthrows and raw 214a's (you land it without doing a BC), you can actually just haida loop on a bunch of characters without doing a 663b. For some reason, when you add a BC in there, their body gets pushed too far away
  2. Hmm, try 663b, should be easier on the timing/execution. Do the 66 dash right BEFORE she starts to land. This is honestly the only thing Noel has that is pretty strict on timing (strict enough so that I wouldn't try it online). TBH I can only get it like 40% of the time in real matches, so I kinda stopped trying it.
  3. That was me, I'm pretty good eh?
  4. We use 3B because as you can see, if you go from 2b to 6b after a 214a you might accidentally get a fireball motion (and get an optic barrel out..not good). Think of it like a SFIV shortcut. And yes, that's the go to combo for Tager in the corner, but I like to throw in a 4d->236d in there to put them in perfect position for the haida loop. This Noel's good, we should all follow what he does.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gz6EfNCBUt0 Best Noel I've ever seen.
  6. That's a wrap.
  7. k, tested it in CS...definitely not as godlike as SFIV Ken's kara-throw...but quite useful nonetheless. Might as well do it for all your throw attempts TBH lol (though I have no idea how pad players will be able to do this...unless you can map throw to one button in this game)
  8. I can't get the timing down for 5d-bc (trying it in CT). Noel always finishes her 5D...when do you press the bc exactly.
  9. Wow, for the 6 months I'm been playing CS I'm embarrassed to say I never knew Noel had a kara-throw with her 5D. Her throw-range is ass, this definitely improves it quite a bit. So to confirm: it's 5D->BC right?
  10. Hmmm, didn't Mizzet say he's gonna be coming to Cali next year? If so, I'll be looking to get some games with you. You know a lot more about Noel than I do, so I need some kind of Noel sensei lol. After taking a break from this Evo, I'm making a run at Evo top 8 next year for BB (best chance for me to do it before real-life takes over gaming). Hahda-core training training starts next week hopefully.
  11. This. Right here. You gotta catch him A3...LIKE A SPACEBOY.
  12. Sparks defense is just impeccable, I can't believe he can react block TK Gauntlet Hades.
  13. Would just like to congratulate AI regular Numakie for making top 8 at EVO MBAA. That maid is too fierce.
  14. Everyone use j. 4d. It's godlike, best move ever. If you see me online and are playing against me in ranked, use it a lot please I don't know what to do against it =(
  15. CS update? If anything, I'll swing by Friday to mash on GG/MvC2.
  16. A3 showed up? Thought he changed his plans.
  17. You never ever airtech when magnetized against Tager, period. j .4d certainly doesn't anything lol. This move sucks people I'm sad we wasted 2 pages talking about it.
  18. The only thing you can bait with j. 4d is a DP. It'll dodge the DP and you can get a free drive combo. It has some uses against Nu's who love to use 2d a lot, and maybe Hazama's who love to anti-air ouroborous...but that's it. Trust me, I tried everything I can think of with this move. It's just not very good, stop grasping for straws people.
  19. The minute your feet touch the ground from j. 4d you will be eating shit. You better have trained your opponent to block and not mash if you want to use it that bad. R-1 having a 75% ratio doesn't surprise me. Noel is a different beast online with the lag factor.
  20. Other than that I can't really think of anything else other than a random 6C in the corner, that can lead to 4k+ damage. He can't really get much off his other ice attacks other than a random air Hishogeki. I guess his overhead is fast, and that can lead to a solid 2.5k combo. His 5b is still good, and even works as an AA, but it's not nearly as dominant as CT 5b. 2d is good because when done at the right distance is completely safe and can catch random backdashes. Hitting it on someone can easily change the flow of the match, and that's why I consider it his most dangerous tool (not saying he doesn't have other ones)... @question about Haida Loop: I can't really say where you're going wrong in the haida because I can't see your technique. The most general advice I can give is not to rush, which was my mistake when I first played the arcade version. Once I found that the "22's" of the loop can be done in a really slow, controlled manner, I managed to master the loop in 30 minutes...The key is getting that rhythm down. It would help if you can say what's going on when you try to 22c. Is it blackbeating? Are you getting a 2c instead? etc
  21. Hahaha, that's the problem, I wasn't good even when I practiced the game. I bet I can't even FRC ice spike anymore =( I'll keep my eyes on this thread. I'm down for something to happen on Thursday.
  22. When's the best time to play GG here? I'm fiending again and I want to dust off my rusty as fuck Dizzy.
  23. Well, in CT Tager didn't have gadget finger. Our 2d went over his 2a, and our 3c's can go under his 5a's. It was slightly in favor of Noel in CT. Now Tager can guess right 3 times and win, while we have to poke and prod and pray some random 5D hits. Our damage potential is higher, but if you play against Noel right you shouldn't even have to worry it. If a Tager keeps falling into 5d he doesn't know the match-up, and that factor shouldn't be taken into consideration when regarding MU charts. Perfect play by Noel vs perfect play by Tager, Tager has a slight 6/4 advantage. Not insurmountable at all though.
