Copy and paste this into the opening post Nov Ganon Haida loop off 3c (works on everyone except Tsubaki, Carl, Tao, Hazama) 3c, 66c, (22b, 22bc, 66c)xN, 5d, d. 6b, d. 5c, j. d, 6d, 236d Haida loop off airthrow or 214a (works on everyone except Tsubaki, Carl, Tao, Hazama. For most characters you need to do a dash before doing the 2b to pick them up, though on fatties like Tager you can just omit the dash) Airthrow/214a, 662b, 6c, (22b, 22bc, 66c)xN, j. D, 6d, d. 5c, d. 6b, 236d Haida loop off corner BC throw (works on everyone except for Tsubaki...and Nu for some silly reason o_O) Throw, (22b, 22bc, 66c)xN, 4d, 236d, 66c, 22b, 22bc, 66c, j. d, 6d, d. 6b, d. 5b, d. 5c, 236d

Sanwa buttons annoy me sometimes. It feels like you can breathe on them and still have a move come out o_O

But when/how to tech and techpunishes/tech traps are all character specific though. You would in a sense have to write 13 guides.

Characters that are easy to loop on (no real distance/timing required) Tager, Bang, Hakumen, Rachel, Noel, Arakune (very few reps though) Characters that need to be 3c'ed at a specific distance in order to be loop'ed (point blank 3c's will make the 22b's whiff) Ragna, Jin, Nu, Litchi Characters with really gay hit boxes Tsubaki, Carl, Tao, Hazama As for reps, each 22b increases the untechable time of there body. You could go on forever if it wasn't for the fact that the 22b's will eventually push them too far away. In any case, there definitely isn't some 3 rep max, You can easily get 5 reps on Tager/Bang/Rachel/etc if you 3c'ed at the sweetspot distance. It's important to analyze how far their body is away from you during the combo, so you can know whether to keep the loop going or if you wanna head into the drive juggle.

But isn't that everyone in BB Event Announcements?

This thread's funny.

Uuuuhh, it's not a bad idea if it works. In fact that'll be a great idea. A lot of Tagers thinks gadget finger oki set-ups are free on Noel due to the fact she doesn't have a DP, so many of them just mindlessly pick you up with gadget and start mashing 5a/360 and what not. Fenrir will beat those options clean. But as you probably know, if they block you're about to eat some huge shit if you didn't have 50 heat to RC out of the fenrir. Even if you RC out of it to make it safe...well you just wasted 100 meter man lol. Noel's meter building abilities are probably top 5 in the game due to her drive combos, but wasting a 100 meter to get out of a gadget finger set-up is still a tough pill to swallow. Also, I believe if they mash 720 after gadget finger, it will beat your fenrir. But really, this question is hard to answer. It's like a Ragna asking is mashing DP on wake-up a bad idea? Well...depends on the situation.

You can option select BC throws by holding downback and pressing A+B+C during your opponent's blockstrings. Other than that there's not any.

Basically any jump attack that has long recovery frames (Hakumen's j. C, Jin's j. C), when they are done really low towards the ground, will give Noel a very small window to use 5D to counter attack them when they land. Of course, this is also very height dependent, so you really have to play a lot and gain a lot of match up experience to determine when to use 5D as an AA and when to use 6A. Though for me personally, I never had much trouble swatting Hakumen away with 6A, since I'm really scared to use drive against good Hakumens (since they can easily take 4k off my health).
-
I just don't feel safe using 5c because she has no upper body invulnerability during that move. 5D serves much of the same purpose, and it will cleanly go through Litchi's who like to do j. b's (and many other jump in moves) close to the ground. It also leads to a lot more damage.
-
I'll add that, but honest to god there's so many small nitpicky combos you can do with Noel that it'll be impossible to list them all. I'm assuming the reader has some background in BB to understand that j. C will go into any 5A combo. .

Revamped and updated in preparation of influx of console players seeking info.

Your Noel is godlike man. Teach me how to play Noel. Also teach me how to make the combo counter go transparent, that looks badass.

Do you have to register for the actual expo to enter a tourney?

Socal: Arcade Infinity! Let's Match it UP
mooyang90 replied to choysauce's topic in Offline Community
AI would be find if everyone stops trolling the SSFIV machines. I glance there every once in a while and at least half of the tokens in line are either Super Arcade tokens or pennies lol...during a slow day with 3-4 people no one even bothers to put coins in. I've put in at least 100 dollars in the BB machine since it came out in November, so I feel did my part at least. But yea, it would a sad day in socal if AI really closes in 3 months. -
So are you confirmed for the 19th at AI? What time? Just wanted to know so I know whether to start practicing this week or not lol.
-
wait, are you still coming to AI on the 19th or no?
-
I'm sure they were disappointed.

I'd trust the opinion of one of california's better Nu's on this. I'm too lazy to learn another character. I've learned one Belial Edge combo and that's it lmao. Yea, Litchi is fine with me coming from a mid-tier user. First I thought she was insanely good, but now I don't think she's too BS at all, and is a very reasonable S-tier character (a helluva lot more reasonable than CT S tiers). So yea, if masses of people want to use her when console gets released, then by all means go for it. However, they'll find that it's definitely not an automatic win. People should use her if they want an execution heavy, high damage character with innovative corner oki set-ups with daisharin and her doll. She also can zone pretty well with her staff 5b, and her overheads are really good. Her anti-air options (tsubame gaeshi and 2c) are pretty mediocre, but still passable. If she has one major weakness, it's that her blockstrings can be very easily IB'ed and CH'ed with some huge combos if the opponent has experience against Litchi, and as you guys all know Litch doesn't take damage well.

Joemama is a Litchi tier whore, true story.

Didn't you team up with Karun before? I dunno I searched his name on youtube and saw you guys on some 2v2 lol...
