  1. Lol at 5 Ragna. Was anybody else decent? Or did you just steam roll everyone?

  2. It's very good for zoning, but not in the same way that Lamda's swords are. The lasers let you control space, and where the opponent is. It eliminates his options and lets you dominate them with normals. The "D wall" is really good for keep away and zoning, just not damage and mixup (ala Hazama and Lambda).
  3. Umm, if you keep moving and don't try to blind rush in, you shouldn't get beat up too bad, but Mu is good at keeping you out regardless (unless you're bang). You should probably ask in the character sub-forums as different characters have different methods for dealing with the lasers. If I've misunderstood your question I'm sorry.
  4. Oki in BB is on the weak side, so typically there is no fool proof option. But whether your timing is off or not really depends on what they are doing to beat you. What kinds of situations are you having trouble with, Ragna oki midscreen is pretty awful.

  5. You can buffer into guard stun. That's how Tager can IB 720 (our just block 720) without jumping.

  6. Yeah, but typically, when your near the end of guard stun and you press the button, it should just come out when the stun is over.

  7. 5B should beat everything clean after IBing any of those three. If your trading it much be a timing issue, or the internetz. Just remember 360A is still there. Usually, I just do 2A, 5A, or grab just to make the timing more lenient.

  8. With B sledge and 2D and 5D, on IB you will beat everything except invulnerable like 360A. But if Tager is just guessing away with command grabs, you pretty much have him where you want him.

  9. Hologram just shouldn't block grenades, maybe I'm still nooby when it comes to armor-lock. Anyways, I'll have time tonight, we should do some arena doubles.

  10. Yeah Hologram is my favorite too. But I suspect Bungie may nerf Hologram and Armor-lock. They both seem a bit OP. Hologram can deflect grenades and rockets, and armor lock is just stupid as fuck.

  11. Yeah I saw that. You don't even really need to IB to interrupt Tager's block strings with ID, but IBing takes away all his command throw traps. The big things to IB are BSledge, 2D, and 5D. Thankfully they are all slow.

  12. Ragna doesn't actually have a huge advantage against Tager, especially since his backdash works so well against Ragna. When I play Rag V Tag I treat it like a zoning match. Try to keep Tager at the end of your pokes and if you are up close play it really safe with A's B's and Jump Cancel pressure. Don't give him a chance to grab you out of stuff (if you can avoid it). But I'll probably be on and off my xbox all week, so just send me a message. I might have people over, in which case I won't be doing much BB. Either way Valkenhyne will force me to sign on, if only to confirm that I won't like him.

  14. Yeah, but my IRL friends aren't big Halo players, so when their over we do other things. But We should still play soon. Also, tell mAc to stop jumping all the time when Tager is close. If you're jumping predictable the psychic collider isn't so psychic anymore.

  16. I follow, I wasn't talking about (making fun of) you, but everybody calls everything in this game a loop. It makes me chuckle, especially since there are games out there that have some real loops (* cough* MvC2).
  17. Lol, at calling it a loop when you can only do one rep at the end of combos(you can do [3C>22C>5B>3C>22C]x4 on it's own). Also, it seems like we say the same things about the 22C "loop" every couple weeks...
  18. Hmm... that's a bigger damage gap then I remembered, that's what I get for not playing the character as much in CS. Adding 800 damage (+oki) makes it very much worth learning. Could be even more important in CS2 also.
  19. Looking at the frame data, it's a one frame link, and you can't use the buffer system to help (like Titanium said). Point being, it's just hard, and it doesn't do a huge amount to be worth the trouble, it just nudges his damage up a bit more.

  21. Well, the I figured out the reason that works so well. When you release armor lock, you are vulnerable, but you are still in the lock animation. So effectively, you have to guess when y=they are gonna release it. It's kinda stupid. Quite frankly, both Armor lock and Hologram (my favorite) are a bit OP.

  22. Sorry I left early. I was playing with those people I brought IRL. We were gonna go out, but after I quit we decided to play a few more matches. That and we were getting annoyed at IRX (or whatever) for abusing that armor lock in an incredibly annoying fashion.

  23. BB is at 2 right. Damn, I'm gonna be at work, but if I can get an internet connection (I work outdoors), you can count on it.

  24. If you mash 5A you should get a CH everytime. Maybe there's some kind of Anti-Chain combo to be done from there. Probably something along the lines of CH 5A>2C>...
