  1. Prereg this shit. T.Nible Klaige Iowa GEAR Blaz if we do it. Fuck it i'll sign up for super too.
  2. I will find some way to get out there. Mike i'll bring a setup as per the norm.
  3. For my birthday today I am going to wear a fedora and throw snake chains at people and bartenders to acquire drinks. (I am going to drink until I believe I am throwing snake chains at people).
  4. Don't sweat it guys. We just cant think on Blade's level. He's got those Dev level ideas and understanding. We're just a bunch of scrubs who play the game.
  5. Man those developers sure know what they are talking about don't they. Good shit friend. Just out of curiosity has anyone heard anything on Bang besides 5A still being a good poke? Edit - Eirie with the psychic post.
  6. I'm guessing were going to be doing a lot of chain poking now. Were gonna want to keep people out with those faster chains. Especially if the rumor about jayoku losing invulnerability is true. In general I think he may struggle to do damage. The new proration on jayoku could mean were down in the 3.5k damage are for a fatal counter super hit. Especially since following up 623D is more difficult and 4DA, 4DA, 4DA(4DD) combos got toned down. I think we just need to see hazama in action with all the changes to see where he really lies.
  7. I don't need to smear your rep when you post crap like that Blade. You do a fine job taking care of that yourself.

  8. Except that you don't learn. You still do the same crap you've been doing ever since you got here. Spout information that you think is some great revelation or new idea, and then when people tell you why you are wrong you complain about how everyone trolls you. Learning is getting out and playing the game. The people who really put their time, money, and travel plans into going to tourney's going to gatherings. You on the other hand just try to spout some new horse-shit every other month and then never learn why people can't stand it when you post here. I was a new player too once, a long freakin time ago. I thought i knew all kinds of crap about fighting games, then i got my ass humbled by going to tourneys and playing people who were way better than me. Even if just once you started showing some progress, or didn't post up some retarded theory in a new thread, people would probably lay off you. But then you turn around claim that you "think like a developer".

  9. I thought so too, for more lols check out my visitor page.
  10. I'm sorry you are sick of the things that are a basis of fighting games. Perhaps you should try a new genre where you don't have to deal with "tourneyfags" hmm?

  11. You know what's fuckin baller? My new signature.
  12. "Meh, most people hate on me cuz I think like a developer, not a gamer." We hate on you because your a fucking retard. You don't "think like a developer". You think like an ignorant scrub who prefers to call people assholes when they prove your idiotic bullshit wrong. It's one thing to be uninformed, it's another to continue to spout retarded drivel all over the place like you do, and then cry about it when we call you dumb for never learning. You and Shinkada are a fucking perfect match for one another. You can sit and pat each others backs about how fucking brilliant you are and how people who actually enter and do well in tournaments are the real scrubs. P.S. Thanks for the new sig fodder jackass.

  13. Lol blade and shinkada aligning. This is great, hopefully you two collaborate on some ways to teach all us tourney players why we are such assholes.

  14. Full list of changes courtesy of Wuku in the Loke test thread. - All D moves: Damage is decreased. Damage proration is increased. Startup is faster now. Hit-stun is still a lot less than CS. DA cancel is still faster than CS. 4DA > 4DD is still possible with very strict timing. No Ouroboros gauge back on block. You require more time to get the gauge back automatically. - 5B: Attack lvl decreased. Looks like either - 2 or - 3 on block. Now Air Unblockable - 5C: Now Air unblockable - 3C: 214DC only connects on counter hit. You have no way to connect lvl 2 214DC - 6A: knocks down on hit - 6C: knocks down on air hit. No change on ground hit. Once air hit, knife binds you to the ground for certain frames. (way more fancier than Bang’s nails maybe?) - JA: not jump cancellable anymore - JC: Only first 2 hits are jump cancellable. - Forward Throw: Damage is increased to 1800. (WTF?) Now air untechable. It connects to DDs only (sounds like you can combo into 632146C too). Forward Throw > Jayoku now works at the field too. - Back Throw: Damage is increased to 1800. You can do followup combo with J6D to all characters. - Air Throw: Ground bounce on hit. You don’t need J2D to do the follow up combo. - 236D: Slides down on hit. Wall bounce at the corner. - 214DC: Effect on hit is now similar to CS. Only difference is an opponent is spinning at air once hit. - 214DA: you can’t do any followup combo with lvl 1 hit. Knocks down on air hit. - 623D: You have now less time to do followup combo after this hits. Not sure the reason (maybe because more recovery?) - 236C: you get 5% of meter gauge once hit - 236236B: proration is increased. Repeat proration is added. *Rumor: Somebody said its invincibility frame is all gone so IB > Jayoku is nearly impossible now but very possibly it's not true. - Misc: you can now do 5A (anti air) > 5C > 4D combo again. I dunno guys. I'm looking for the silver lining here but this seems like it could be pretty bad for our friend in the Fedora. If the rumor about Jayoku having no invulnerable frames is true, that could be a bit much to overcome. Granted tons of other things got the nerfbat, but this is looking rough at first glance. thoughts?
  15. CS2 changes still seem like a shotgun spread attempt to me, but i'll wait til the final version to see the true results. One thing is for sure, if most of these changes hold we are going to see a #R to Slash sort of decrease in overall damage. Right now, if I was an Arakune player i would be feeling pretty good right now however for a couple of reasons: Even though his damage is down too, going from 10k to 8k is a massive boon compared to much of the cast. The game is shifting to being coner-centric for it's damage. Assuming those 8k combos are still possible midscreen, Arakune has a huge advantage just in his ability to outdamage the rest of the cast based on opportunities. Many of the zoning tools that could be a thorn to Arakune (Hazama's Chains, Lambdas Swords) are seeing some nerfs. In general a lot of the changes will probably even themselves out amongs the cast, but I'd be lying if i wasn't concerned that Arakune could become too strong just based on his ability to outdamage everyone by a huge margin.
  16. Here's a matchup chart for you: Math vs. Dustloop 10.0 - 0.0 Accounts for possible 0.0 margin of error.
  17. And you don't seem to get math still. It doesn't matter if that number is based entirely off opinion (and they aren't you couldn't do it that way, there has to be some actual evidence, you know, like the goddamn matchup being played!). Or based entirely off a sample size of gathered data (100 matches played between 2 equally skilled players). A chart with .5 numbers is ALWAYS going to be closer to accurate than one without. What if all they did was double the idea of it being 10 matches to 20. Holy shit what if the opinon was that one character won about 15 matches and the other won 5 out of those 20? How the chart is made is irrelevant, a fucking number with a decimal point is ALWAYS more accurate than one with out.
  18. So timing something in whole seconds as opposed to tenths of a second is more accurate? Measuring by whole cups instead of halfs, thirds, or fourths is more accurate? You do realize that what you just said is like failing early middle school math right? How hard is the concept of, numbers with a decimal are going to be more precise than rounded numbers? Stay 5th grade dustloop.
  19. My friday comedy quota is officially reached.
  20. Jesus christ, can you people not read a few pages back. .5's are not meant to determine someone can win "half" a match more or less. It's because the theory of the matchup number is of that over 100 matches. I.E. a 6.5/3.5 matchup means one character wins 65 out of a 100 matches. A bigger sample size is always better for any kind of statistical chart. Thus the .5 numbers ARE MORE ACCURATE. Is it that fucking hard to figure out?!
  21. The real lols is the amount of bickering going on over a chart that will be COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT in just over a month.
  22. Just wait for CS2, we all know once a newer version of any arc-sys game comes out, the players that matter pretty much stop giving a shit about the old version, even if the new one is not readily available in America yet. I personally say archive all the CS1 shit into a general thread or two, (I.E. CS1 Basics/Strats/Combos/Gameply and CS1 Matchups [just merge em, once CS2 is out we'll need new threads for matchups anyway]) My two cents. Then again I haven't modded here in 4 years.
  23. Dec 9th is the current release date. Edit - For the Arcade version, though there have been murmurs that perhaps the console patch could be released at the same time.
  24. So gold burst has no proration in a combo in this test. What is the proration mid-combo right now if anyone knows?
  25. I saw the combo that starts with 214D-C a couple times now, but is there any reliable way to hit with it anymore now that you can't combo into it from 3C?
