Ah, I see. Well, that's not that bad. The trick is that when they're focusing so much on barrier and not getting guard broke, you have a lot easier time catching them off guard with other stuff. I know when I've been almost guard broken half the time I end up getting hit by something else in the end. It just adds another layer of mixup for you. You don't need to actually guard break them to benefit from it.

Wait, what do you mean 8 primer attacks? Because it just regenerates so fast?

1) It depends when it's triggered, but usually yes. It doesn't mean he's going to be able to reach them though. 2) You can cut it. 3) They're not meant to be useful to begin with. It's more of a style thing.

Using 4C is just asking to get CH by heart car half the time.

More damage and being able to combo into it off more starters. Except that wouldn't work since to combo into it you'd have to use stars but to use Mugen you'd need 8. It's pretty much bad by its design. Blood Kain puts you in a better position when you're done, at least; you can gain life and gain a ton of heat. After Mugen you're always at 0 stars.

Keep playing. They go into that as the game goes on. It's like the story's central mystery. I didn't think it was that grim. It's not like it's on the surface; it's something in the background that you have to look into. Plus with the characters that were involved, it kind of felt inevitable.

Oh yeah, that happens a lot in this game. Get ready. Your aide feels like a better attorney than you, lool. But the other characters!!! Especially two brothers make the game for me. @Blade: Yeah, the story and characters are amazing. It's an unforgettable series. I can't even begin to describe it, except that you'll get addicted and won't be able to put it down from start to finish, and then wish it didn't end when you're done. Well, I don't think he changed that much. His thinking seems pretty much the same old Nick during the parts when you can see what he's thinking. You just can't tell for the rest of it, so maybe he always comes off that way. But I also like how he basically learned from his experiences and became less idealistic, and has a tinge of bitterness. It kind of reminds me of like how Goku would always try to save every single villain he fought against until he met Freeza. Also he kind of became what he was accused of becoming, so in the end the plan was a success, if you remember the end of the first trial and what he did. They never went into that though. It just seems like a natural change to me rather than one where they were just like YO HERE'S SOME HOBOS.

He is like a COMPLETE version of Nick. MATURED. VIOLATED. He still has his same personality under all the hobo-ness. He just got wiser.

Yeah, it's different, but I also like the cast. It has its own slew of unique characters, and it opens up a lot of potential for more story. Like, I want to know more about what happened in the 7 years, to people like Maya, and then you can have sequels with the new characters. I also liked the main villain the most... I kind of had that problem with Edgeworth's game. In the Phoenix Wright ones you're always on the ropes and barely hanging by a thread at every turn. But in Edgeworth's there's no suspense, he just shows up in beast mode and rapes everybody and calls it a day. It's still good though. I would've rather had an AJ2 than an AAI2. Not that we can ever compare it since they won't ever release it here. (Although I heard some pretty epic stuff about it.)
