  3. That match up chart was by an anonymous japanese player on a JP BBS. That wouldn't be that different than one of us making a matchup chart. So I wouldn't give too much weight to it, although not all of it seemed off.

  7. I dunno, something about the hitbox... I've never really feared her DP. Even when she does it half the time, it ends up whiffing or clashing and I win the exchange.
  8. Jin's 623D, Makoto's DP, Litchi's is pretty good, possibly Hotaru. Can you RC her DP? I've had a ton of situations where I ended up clashing with her DP and hit her out of it instead. It's not bad though.

  12. Nothing can stop someone from jumping out of a 720 if they see it coming. Unless it's to punish a move and they're in the middle of it. Otherwise you just have to catch them off guard.

  16. It doesn't make sense when I plug the replacements in. For instance: 5c -> Renka(K) -> 6c -> Corner Loop OK, so I go and plug in the Renka(K) line in and get: 5c -> Renka(1) -> Kishuu -> 6c -> hop -> Corner Loop (2) -> 6c -> Corner Loop And then you have the two corner loops to still plug in.
  17. Probably gives more time for the opponent to fall. What's the deal with combos that have Renka(K) in them?

  20. So you get a star every time? I could see us almost KOing Carl off that alone and finishing it with a Yukikaze from the stars we get.
  21. Good job, Spark. By the way, I don't know if you've seen how Lord Knight breaks down matchups in the Litchi forums, but if you haven't you should take a look at some of his posts. He does a pretty good job and the way he does it could be useful to bring on over here. (Actually, now that I look, it's pretty similar.) There were some 2A option selects for dealing with some of Bang's pressure / command grab setups, although I'm not sure how much of it carried over from CS1. If someone knows what I'm talking about (huey) then it'd be nice if they could drop that here. You hit 2A (without IB) after Bang's 5A, and if he goes a command grab or various attacks, you land a CH. The other attacks are airtight and keep you in blockstun so 2A never comes out. I think there's one situation where you'd eat a combo, but all the other routes Bang could go would end up in your favor.
  22. This matchup always comes down to who loses their patience first.
  23. I think 6D may be a better choice against Jin's j.B than 5A or 5B. Chances are that cape's hitbox will beat out 5A/5B, like you mentioned. Might as well use something that won't be so hit or miss. What exactly is the spacing for 5A and 5B in that situation?
  24. Hmm, makes me wonder what would happen if you caught Carl in repeated 6Ds by countering that one Nirvana super...
