  1. By the way if you guys want all the frame data for Bang they have it here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/pages/bbcs/ That's where I saw the 5A anyway. :P
  2. Ah, right. Damn. I need to just set some Bang blockstrings in training mode and mash D in different directions and see what happens. :P If there's any holes I'll find them!!!
  3. It says Haku's j.D startup is 1 frame and it lasts 9 frames, then it takes 11 to land / recover. If Bang's is 13 frames for startup and is active for 3 frames, so you should be in the air still. I guess if you're in an airtight blockstring that's not going to work though so it still comes down to predicting it. Also the recovery on Bang's command throw is a whopping 37 frames so if he whiffs it on your j.D I think you'd be able to punish him any way you want... That j.D startup is deceptive, though. I think that only applies to when you're already in the air. If you're just on the ground, and hit up + D, then he has to rise up a bit first before the counter becomes active... it's not active on the first frame. It still puts him in the air right away though. I can't really tell until the game comes out and I can go in training mode to test everything out.
  4. There's no 5A info. :< THE MOST IMPORTANT MOVE http://dustloop.com/guides/bbcs/frameData/bang.html 2A doesn't look like it stuns for much at all though.
  5. Dang. Looks like it's time to get back on Yomi Layer 9000. Actually, I'm gonna look at the frame data to make sure. I know his j.D has an 11 frame recovery, so I just have to see how much recovery Bang's command throw has. Also how much blockstun from 5A since I know all that increased I think.
  6. Hm, I just thought of something. Wouldn't Haku's j.D beat Bang's command grab (since it would put him in the air and make it whiff)? And if you tried to go for a low, the low would whiff, and if you go for an overhead or normal attack it would get countered.
  7. But Skye, I'm pretty sure that Bang can 2A you to make sure you can't jump; if you try you'll get hit out of the startup frames and stay grounded, then he can grab you. I think.
  8. It's going to be even harder to react online. :P I'm just going to predict it and 2A mash my way out!!!
  9. Maybe if you weren't doing anything else and just watching for it, but when you're in the middle of like 3 different 50/50 mixups...
  10. How can you tell? Usually he'll 2A you and then it could be anything after it. You'd have to guess. Wait... does his 5A gatling into itself too?
  11. I've learned that most Noels on XBL don't know what blocking is. They just throw out attacks the entire match and if I stay on defense that's fine but if I throw out even one attack they just fall apart because they'll eat it 100% of the time. :P
  12. Have you been playing lately, by the way? I started playing again a night or two ago. I played some random Nus on ranked and wished you were on. :P

  13. I knew it! :P As soon as I saw it I was like, "Arcade Fire would love this." She sacrifices her knockdown damage for oki, kind of like Bang.

  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1f2oyMig3c You might like this. She can apply really good pressure. Your favorite thing to do. :P
  15. So, I want to make a CS combo thread. There's a lot of CS only combos that we ought to organize, instead of having them all mixed up into this one thread. All the other character forums have CS specific combo threads. The problem is I only know CT combos. I can transcribe the CS combos I see in videos, but I'd need everybody to help out and offer a CS combos they know so I could put it all together. It would be best if JackG or someone did it but I don't know if anyone else is willing to do all that. What do you guys think?
  16. No, those are CT, but a lot of them carry over. There's a lot of new, better combos though.
  17. Ah, OK. I figured it was something like that.

  18. oh god 6C combos *drools*
  19. Also, check out these two combo vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD318OfQyNM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmadH1m6rR4 I'm so excited to learn all of those combos. Look at all the 6C ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. I was gonna just stroll in on the 28th and buy it, but I heard if you pre order it online at Gamestop they actually deliver it to your mailbox overnight on the 27th. :0 Also, we need to figure out how to deal with that hotel thing. I'll find my paper that has the amount so I can figure it out.

  21. I think he means, it was that way in CT when Nu had all those broken options. Now she's nerfed, how could it not have improved for Tao?
  22. No, you should totally use it. You just have to be careful since it has such a long recovery.
  23. So, question for all you Haku players who've been playing CS so far. (Spark, etc.) How does Haku hold up compared to his CT version? Is he still gimped at neutral? Does his removal of 6A and addition of j.C give him more freedom in a match, or pigeonhole him more? From my Day 1 impressions, it seems like you're forced to just j.C zone, whereas before you could not worry about your positioning for anti-air since you'd just 6A them wherever you were and go about on your way.
  24. Well... I can IAD / jump in just close enough to make people think they can DP but in reality I'd land and be able to block... so yes, I think.
