What program do you use for your videos? Does it work on mac? I wanted to get HD PVR originally but nobody had it and I got impatient so I just bought a non-HD recorder, that isn't that bad. But I still feel like getting the PVR sometimes. Even though it's another $250 for a small jump in quality...

ALRIGHT! I just bought the tickets. It took forever to coordinate between me and my brother. :P I found a flight that would have been perfect, we'd both get there at 8:45 PM, but it wasn't Southwest so I wouldn't be able to use my free ticket. I was about to just pay full price and do it anyway but I ended up going with a Southwest ticket that gets there at 10:45 PM, and leaves on Monday at 9:45 AM. So, feel free to check into the hotel before us, or wait around. :P I think we'd have to put your name into the reservation so you can get in. Geez, they're 8 hour flights. I thought it took like 4 hours to fly across the country.

Mortal Kombat 1 was awesome. Goro was so hard. Although I wonder if that game was as hard as I remember, or if it was only because I was like six. Older games definitely are harder though.

And then I almost lost for it. :P I realized in that situation it would've been burst safe too if I just did 6C. #_# People apparently only burst when it's burst safe, lol. Do you recommend the approach I take in these vids? Basically, I used to just turtle on the other side of the screen, but I've gotten confident enough in my defense and what Nu can do that I can basically mount a slow, defensive pushback that slowly corners her, until I can get close to her. Or do you think just making her come to you is better? The problem I had is it worked for a while but then if Nu decides to just zone and mixup then she'll eventually get me since I'm bound to make a mistake.

Ah, thanks. Yeah, I wanted to try getting good at burst baiting, I never do it, so I decided to try it there since I knew he'd burst. But I ended up being too far away. Burst baiting is harder with Hakumen than others since you don't want to rapid and his moves are so slow usually... so I'm not as sure when they'll burst; either they'll burst the instant they get hit, not letting you do anything, or they won't burst at all since most of the combo damage comes in only a few hits that are likely to have already occurred so it would be a waste at that point. I usually DO do throw > gurren > 2C but it was a bit laggy so I wasn't confident that I would land it and might accidentally knock him out of the corner instead. So I just went for 3C. However if I had 2 stars I would've done throw > renka for sure. Good idea about using IB during the whole C string.

MK2 was always my favorite. MK3 was good but I felt like MK2 was the series' peak. I always played Reptile in MKII and (cyborg) Smoke in MKIII.

The only difference between someone who succeeds and someone who failed is that the successful person didn't give up and grinded it out.

^It makes it x100 times harder for me. ;_; Maybe one day I'll get used to it. I've always used dpad so I'm stick impaired, even on the 360's analog.

If you're backdashing that just means it's registering back twice instead of once, either from you hitting it too many times or from trying to IB right after blocking normally. Just be more deliberate about it. It happens to me too though.
Good points though. I forgot Hakumen can do that.
