Well, what I meant is the Hakumen would be playing perfectly, ie., he wouldn't respond to baits and only counter on reaction to moves that he knows would hit him or once the opponent has committed to something. Since they're 1 frame counters it would just rely on reaction time, they could wait until they see you do a move and then do it. I suppose I can't really think of any other way to classify tiers though. Although I always thought that if there was some character whose input for every move was a 1080 or something that it would have to affect his tier list on the account of nobody being able to use them properly.

I don't understand why people use "perfect play" as the standard to judge tiers, since nobody in history has ever played perfectly. Let me put it this way. If there was someone with superhuman reflexes who could play perfectly, then wouldn't Haku be god tier since he could just counter every single attack and dash through just the right openings, etc? Maybe I'm missing something.

We were mostly fooling around so :P God, I hate how I'll try to 2C sometimes and get 3C instead. *rages* What is more damaging than the 2C loop, Zhe? Skye, I could probably give you some advice on this matchup just from playing Axis and others a lot. You liked to B Sledge a lot. Don't! That is a free counter.

I must try these strats out! One question, it only confirms on CH right? Well, if they're just jumping in, they're probably just trying to barrier or IB so... I don't think it would CH. What should you do in that situation? If I see them coming in with a move I'd probably just use 6A and hit them after all. I think I'm not clear on everything yet.

What Dacid said is true about replays. I usually don't save a lot of matches, because even though I feel like it was a good match I remember all the mistakes that were in them in the back of my head. Then of the few I do save I end up discarding like half of them. I only really get some good ones when I just say "screw it" and save like every match I play that night.

Nothing amazing, but I do have some of the matches we played (though I dunno if I'll do anything with them) and a match with Unholy Garrett where he completely destroyed me. But the 720 setups he used were so original and hilarious that I literally burst out laughing as he got me with them. It was just great. Also my avatar has leveled up.

They always break the air throws. Too smart. :P Well, some of them. The 5A idea though... do you mean 6A THEN 5A, or just 5A instead? Also they could barrier too, which would make hotaru not work, and then I can see them landing and doing 360 anyway. Uaghhh :P Basically what happens is I'm forced to move back, and move back, and move back until I mess up. Although sometimes they'll mess up and I'll score a hit instead and knock them back to reset everything.

So, Tagers have been able to IB my 2C or 6A while they jump in and 360 on landing. What can Haku do to keep Tager out if he's doing that? I am SCREWED.

Well, I might still drop in anyway. I'm in northern Virginia now (near DC) and been trying to get involved in local offline places. Since I go back home now and then to PA (which is like 3 hours away), and Baltimore is on the way, it's not that far... Why is it so hard for BlazBlue to get played? Is it because people just don't like the game, or is it because nobody plays it? If people don't like the game, then darn, but if it's the second one then it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy that can still be fixed by just having people who still enjoy it come together to get some momentum going.

I believe this is the dominant strategy.
Yeah, I remember you 5Cing me way back, but most Arakunes don't use it and I was trying to feel out if you still did 
Otherwise I was going to try j.D, but I didn't live long enough. 
Yeah, I was just surprised about the Tager video but I approve now. I will be uploading a bigger beatdown by Tager soon anyway.
Ugh, I forgot clouds curse on block and those combos ending in recurse. I was going to just play solid defense but then I realized you'd just keep recursing me forever so I had to start weaving my way through the bugs to get you. Which was like trying to swat a fly with a sledge hammer. :P -
Oh, how do you think you did on your finals? Dang, I always miss these player rooms.

Yeah, I figured you had just taken a huge break from BB or something. You were starting to get a hang on it again at some points though. I think I was doing a better job against your mixup too. It's OK, we all have bad days. For myself, I tend to be real swingy; I'll either do REAL good, or I'll just get steamrolled all night and it'll build on itself like an avalanche. Same with Halo too, I'll either go +20 or -20. Never 0. :P

Skye, I am disappoint. That was the one video I was fooling around in!!!!!! :P Oh well, it's okay. God, that Arakune corner trap. I think I have a handle on some of your mixup now but I was too afraid to try countering. Soon, though...! Also, damn, every time I blocked a move I knew I could punish, you sent a bug in to keep me in blockstun and let you get away.
