Haha, I still have it pending... I'm just trying to figure out who I want to remove... I'm out of space! I already did the easy thing of cutting out people I never play with or don't even remember, etc. I'll probably just bite the bullet and add you anyway. :P I hear you've been playing a lot with Milldawg.

Can't you do 3C > 2C too? I mean you can do that now, so it could also be a meterless combo. 3C > 2C > j.2C etc. or j.2A, rather. Man, it's going to take me forever to get used to that.

Hmm, I was wondering, what can you do off a 3C (with CH and without) now? I always used to follow it up with a 6B, but now that's gone so...

Wow, you did every single combo? I don't think even I can do all of them. :P And it took me forever to get half of them. When I was like level 30 half of them were impossible. As for what to do off 5A/5B... you could always do 623AA and do a falling j.C combo. But doing 214B is fine too. You only get a few chances with Hakumen, so you can't afford to be too greedy. If you have a chance to deal damage, do it. You'll get more stars; half the time when you die you'll have plenty of stars. It's not the stars that's the issue but being able to get an opening. Although you need to be strategic with when you use them. You can only use it once then have to wait; you can't just do the move and have it whiff and then try it again, etc. I never do it off 5A though, I usually use 2B... 5B always whiffs at the worst possible time whenever I try to use it. :P But it has deceptively great range.

Oh, I missed that on the chart. Excellent. It's nice that they gave the back throw a point. In CT it was kind of useless. I'd always prefer a forward throw over it (unless it was throwing them back into the corner, but even then...).

I don't understand. A normal forward throw has 100% too. What am I missing? Or is it just that if you got a backwards throw instead of a forward one you might as well take the damage?

Sure. I think just playing a lot is the best thing though. I can give you some basic combos to start you off. There's a lot on the combo page but you have to kind of pick and choose what you want... not all of them are that good. Anyway, some basic ones: Throw > 236A > 6C If you want, you can attach his sword super, Shippu, at the end: Throw > 236A > 6C > Shippu Another one that you can do off any random A or B poke: 214B > 236A > 6C You can just do a naked 214B, but you can also try to confirm it with 2B or 2A before you do that. It works off 5C as well. Any combo that ends in 6C, you can attach Shippu to as well, although some combos scale it down enough that it's not worth it. Learn how to use his 6A and 6B, they're great.

The beauty of that combo is that you can start it off pretty much any move Haku has. After a while you get a feel for how much air time each hit gives you and what moves you can string moves off of. The falling C combo is the one where you see Hakumen dash forward and uppercut the guy in the air then juggle him against the wall for half an hour with his C attacks. You need to take a look at the Haku combo thread, and start learning some basic ones. When you get more comfortable you can work your way up to the more advanced ones. The most important thing is getting comfortable with all of his normals and being able to space and position yourself well. Just being able to combo doesn't achieve that much. I think it's too early for you to take specific advice; you just have to get used to the character for now. I dunno, I personally find them exciting. Especially seeing how good some Hakus defense is and how they're using the new stuff they have and what old things they aren't using anymore. I'll start posting some videos. Here's the latest one. Is that really worth it? 4 whole stars? Can you not special cancel the backthrow anymore or something? Also, jesus christ... that second round... there are no words.

Man, there's no Hakumen videos here at all. This is a DISGRACE what are you PEOPLE DOING I'm gonna try and find some videos and post 'em here so we can have some. It doesn't help that there are lots of Haku vids in the posting thread but not labeled as such... gotta do some digging.

I should hop on SSF4 sometime just to observe you in action... I am ALMOST PREPARED to order tickets, I asked my boss but he has to get back to me over the weekend. There's no reason he'll say no, really. BUT! My brother says that for some reason ticket prices go down in June, so... I might wait.

I liked how you were using Hotaru tonight. You looked like you really knew it inside out, you'd get me with like the very very very last outer pixel of it half the time. You were doing some other stuff that I couldn't tell, since we kept dropping a lot of stuff. Oh, I was surprised how often you would IAD at me into 6A, that's usually MY role in the Haku mirror. :P You also were using j.2C a lot, which I normally don't see. Now that I'm done playing I just realized you must have been used to CS. There's no 6A in CS and Haku's j.C in CT is j.2C in CS... The same thing happened to me when I hit up AI during Christmas when I went to California to visit my relatives. I kept doing his new j.C when trying to IAD and land his CT j.C, I couldn't do crap.
