  1. DeadlyMagnes I uploaded your video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMVxbQ3axTo Help him out folks. ARAKUNE
  2. What else would you base the goodness of a character on? Anyway, it doesn't matter to me, I don't pick characters based on their matchups I pick them based on whether I like them. I was just surprised since I thought every matchup would be like 8-2 or something. Slayer, I think that will actually work in our favor, the same way Tager can own players online because people make mistakes and don't play the matchup the way they should, giving us lower tier characters a lot more openings than we would otherwise have.
  3. Yes, BUT. As bad as all that sounds, in the end most of the matchups are 4/6. That means there must be ways to make it work. 4/6 is a walk in the park. Plus, her charge / meter, only has pressure in the corner, and unsafe moves is basically like Hakumen. Nothing new for me. I'll probably stay with Hakumen out of loyalty to my character and the time I put into him but I will mess around with Tsubaki definitely. Oh and unlike Hakumen her Mugen is actually practical.
  4. Arcade, is it OK with you if I upload some of the matches I won (and one I lost) tonight? I want to get some advice on Haku v Nu since a lot of the Nus have powered up since the last time I asked for advice. Plus my last several uploads have just been me getting my ass handed to me and I wanted to upload one I won for a change. :P I could tell you were working on IBing things. If you didn't notice, that was why I kept getting hit by random swords in the middle of your j.Ds too.

  5. I was playing a few matches with Arcade Fire tonight, he beat me for most of them but I actually won a few matches which is rare. Usually I'll take rounds but not matches; the matches I've had before are kind of old, I might upload one from tonight to show you. Yeah, everyone on XBL guards that move every time so you don't even see Hakus using it anymore.

  6. Geez, I looked at Tsubaki's matchup chart right now, and she's way better than I thought. Almost all her matches are just 4/6. The way people talk about her, it's like every matchup is 7-3 against her. I was looking at it wondering how it would compare to CT Hakumen and this is a breeze. Geez I want to main her even more now. But that means giving up all the progress from Hakumen I made...
  7. I'm watching your vids from that PS3 ranbat right now, you were doing great. I saw you up against Rachel, I thought no way he's beating her. Then you win and it's Arakune, same deal. Finally you lost to Nu but I play Haku too and from the way you played I could tell you were on point with a lot of things. Some of the things I wasn't so sure about but we all do some crazy things when Nu has us pinned down. You have PS3 only? I'm on XBOX. :kitty: I noticed you weren't doing any falling C combos, you like to use 5C > Zan a lot.

  8. I was just recalling when we used to fight on ranked a lot. :P

  9. Before you start playing, spend ten or so minutes in training mode doing your basic combos. It'll warm you up for the rest of the night and you'll land things more consistently.

  10. Damn that's sweet. That stick is worth playing alone just for the design. :P In return I give you: http://antioch.snow-fall.com/files/members/mAc%20Chaos/bird.jpg

  11. Yeah, I know, I generally haven't, but watching Jins and Taos do that kind of thing made me want to try and find something. I usually out mind game them anyway on wakeup. I can counter Inferno Divider on reaction now anyway. Not that I recommend it. It's fun to try though. Then they know you can stuff their DP and stop throwing them out, letting you get in on them safely.
  12. How much punishments can sticks take? I let one of my masher friends try it, BIG MISTAKE, when he was done the stick was actually crooked and not on neutral anymore. It just kept registering as pushing forward when you let it go. However after I unplugged and straightened out it seems to be working fine now. But I'm not sure if it's permanently damaged now or if it can just shrug off that kind of thing. Also I totally suck at doing qcfx2 for specials like Magna Tech Wheel or Blood Kain, I'll almost always get Death Spike instead. I can do it on a pad 100% though.
  13. You avoided me last time on ranked :P

  14. I usually don't upload replays but just put them on YouTube, but cool. One thing though, if we don't get a chance to ever play I may have to remove you (for a while) since I'm at 100 friends so I have no room D: I've already done the easy thing of cutting people I never play with so now I always have to decide between people I already play with if I want to add someone.

  15. Hey Kurushii. You sent me a friend invite? :3 I will accept. Interested in playing or something?

  16. Fight the power, Arcade. FIGHT.

  17. Cool. A lot of people that play BlazBlue seem to be art majors. Or at least a lot of the ones I play with, lool. Also, BANG.

  18. When does Irrssin come back? He was a funny guy.

  19. :3 Good matches tonight XDest. I think this is the first time we've played.

  20. ART. Sweet. Did you just start that? I only see two so far. Are you an art major?

  21. *full screen knockdown* *taunt* lolol Oh, you can 2A too, but I'm not sure what you can get out of these. I mean, tech rolls really scale down the damage you can do and you'd be spending stars on those combos so it might not even be worth it.
  22. Couldn't you use 5C instead of 3C there? Also you might be able to land an extra j.2D there... I also wonder how much damage you trade off when you don't include those other hits. Speaking of techs, I was thinking about what Haku can do for oki. I noticed you can 2B tech rolls, but it's not reliable and doesn't do that much damage. Someone said to use 5C but I'm not sure how well that works. I used to 6B back in the day but I stopped... I'm not sure when to use the moves, either. For people like Jin, when he does 5B, it seems like he just throws it out and any time you roll in any direction you will get hit no matter what. Whereas for Hakumen it seems like I have to wait until AFTER they roll and do the move, and I have to do the right move for the direction they rolled, which usually means having to do it on prediction. For instance if Nu tech rolls back I can snag her with 6C but only if I already guessed she'd do that. You can 6C her backdash too.
  23. 2C is usually considered a risky anti-air, unless they're right above you... you usually go to 6A, but if 6A isn't there anymore I can see going for 2C. Also 5C works as an anti-air and knocks them down, and hilariously 6C actually hits them out of the air too. You'd laugh if you saw how many times Ragna would IAD right into a 6C and eat Shippu for the loss. :P The hardest things to anti-air with Hakumen are when they double jump just perfectly so they land right behind you; the 2C hits in front of him and 6A is in front and above so they can land behind you for free or do a crossup.
