The stick hasn't hurt my fingers yet so far. I'm just sticking with pad for now... I was entertaining going to EVO though, along with my brother, but I didn't think it would be worth it since I wouldn't even be able to play really since they probably use sticks. So I'd have to learn stick now if I want to...

Let's see, what else... I'll probably remember when I start watching the replays. You definitely play different than Severin and Vice and Keir Tendril... Severin almost uses only j.D's, no ground swords. DRK Vice has a good mixup, doing things I haven't seen before, that caught me off guard, although I'll always try to adapt. You're very good at spacing yourself. It's not just zoning but with attacks overall. There were so many times I would have gotten a sure hit on you but missed by like, a pixel. Part of that is my own error though, so I'll be working on making those connect next time. Your teching and running habits are different than other Nu's so it kept messing me up, since I kept making decisions based on that. (Like, I'd IAD over at you expecting you to backdash, but you'd run under me instead.)

I thought you were doing fine, I mean, you won, right? I was messing up all over the place too, from all our guessing games and stuff, so don't worry about it. :P As for your Nu... I can't give a real take yet until I'm able to read you through completely, but there were a few things that jumped out at me immediately. You really showed me the power of Nu's backdash, and I don't mean that in a bad way. There were some things you got out of that I didn't even know was possible, like right through a 3C. Your constant j.D barrage also locked me down, I felt like I couldn't even move pretty much. I'm starting to see holes to navigate through though.

What. Huh, for some reason I thought you played Honda. I must have just imagined it. I do remember you saying you play Akuma though. LOL awesome, my brother hates the vortex. :P I haven't really tried to find a way to hold the stick yet... just holding it with two fingers is what seemed natural for me. Did you beat Magnacarta this weekend?

MY EARS Hey Tendril I would've played but I went home to visit my family this weekend. We can play again now, I'll bring my best! I need some warm up time probably though since I tried using my brother's stick the entire time I was there... now my wires are crossed since I went back to my d-pad. I'm thinking of ordering one... only issue I had was trying to jump or IAD, can't do it. And I dropped a lot of combos when I could have won matches, which is rage inducing when you FINALLY catch Nu. :P

Hey Arcade, good games! I went back home to visit my family this weekend, so we got lucky with our connection. And tonight I came back home and it looked like it was working fine... so whatever was slowing it down before seems to have passed. Once I hook all my stuff up to my XBOX I'll upload some of our matches. I didn't save ALL of them, but I saved like ten. I'll probably upload two or three, or maybe four of them. I wish you could save more than 100... I have like 20 gigs of HD space but it limits how much you can keep. So, what were your impressions? I've actually noticed the growth in your play style, the TK feints and such. I noticed you did a lot of 214D~C, but I'm not sure if that's a good move. Usually it leaves you wide open. I was getting caught off guard by a lot of stuff, but I think as we play more I'll adjust. I'm excited for more games!

Alright so I'm briefly entertaining the possibility of the chance of the IDEA of going to EVO this year. But I need you guys to answer some QUESTIONS. How much do hotels and plane tickets cost on average for you guys? How early in advance do you usually get your plane tickets and hotel? Do the prices skyrocket around the time when EVO is going on? I don't play SF4, but BlazBlue, and I don't play stick, although I want to learn. So I'll probably just watch people play, so I'm not sure if I want to go through with it. But my brother plays stick and SF4 so he'd enter a tournament probably. I'd like to play BBCS, but it would be out on consoles around then too probably... Do they do side-events only on arcade machines? Or if I wanted to play BBCT or CS, would we be able to play on console? I want to use a stick eventually but who knows if I'll be doing it by then.

I just figured it was a giant Dead Spike or something. Also the NOL still is corrupt, and Ragna is still a good guy... you see Litchi comment on how he's nicer than he seems too. It just seems that he's crossed pretty much anyone who works for the NOL off as collateral damage.

Ironically 3C is the move I was thinking of RC'ing. Can you cancel 6C into Yukikaze?

Wouldn't a decent use for RC to be, you throw out a move when you're both almost dead and it gets blocked, and to prevent yourself from eating the punish you RC. Not that I ever remember that as an option until AFTER I'm dead...

I'd go even farther than that and say it's not someone who hasn't learn but someone who doesn't WANT to learn. Also, I wish I was close enough to go to these things, they sound fun.

What if they're at the very tip of your 6C? Almost every 6C > Shippu I get is from max range. I'm trying to link 6C, looks like they're CH combos. And 6C has to be fully charged.

What's the combos you can do off 6C? I think the stars used to Shippu can be used more efficiently but I'll still take the 4k damage if someone gets hit by 6C.

Something to note: comboing Shippu off 6C has different timing with Hakumen. There were a lot of times in the beginning when I'd miss Shippu because Hakumen somehow gets bounced too far away.

You can kishuu out of Nu's 5DD 4DD without IB, I think. You just have to time it right.

Yeah, usually it's not really weather related... but the power went out last time too... my other HYPOTHESIS is that when it snows, everyone is staying inside, and all the traffic congestion of all these people going on the internet is getting in my way... It's laggy other times too though... but not this much. I think the ISP just sucks. :P Maybe I should switch to Verizon... Just trying to figure out / navigate their options is impossible though. arjghjshgjgrh RAGE
