  1. Hmm, so I found that with enough conditioning doing 5DD>4DD>long delay>236C works great. Don't overuse it much, but it's great once in a while I was dissapointed, 5D>236C hasn't caught anyone. While watching Azu he got it off multiple times
  2. You're probably right about the 6B, I know close to nothing about MU. Shynkz isn't someone I care about, he just uses Dustloop as twitter : / I got stuck on her challenge that involved the corner into 2B>super. Didn't know how to go about buffering the super quick enough from 2b and got sad
  3. Yeah, I was finding out real quick that Lambda was severely outclassed at close range and started to purely zone with 214D. Seems like the strategy is to frustrate the player and force a mistake I was getting a little frustrated with DP'ing his pressure, some of it were obvious gaps but it pushed him out of Lambda's DP range. I think I had Ragna's dead spike clash with her DP two or three times as well.
  4. I swear I read frame data that made 6B sound risky to abuse. I don't know, the 6B doesn't do massive damage alone, but with the knockdown and oki set up it seems like it could set up for some creative pressure. Messed with her in challenge mode a little, she's a bit awkward.
  5. One of the things I was worried about that discouraged me from trying MU was that her 4B seemed REALLY punishable on block and on the slow side. Playing her, it seems like a really good overhead unless IB'd. She seems so much more creative than Lambda, kinda feel restricted and stiff with my main : /
  6. I feel like he rips her shitty mixup game into ribbons. 236B and C aren't very safe at all. Plus with his meter gain and damage, it's giving him like 30 heat if you blocked the blockstrings. Providing he's been blocking and managed to land one single combo he probably has upwards of 70 heat already Definitely hating him more than Bang
  7. I'm really shocked this matchup is even. His meter gain, jesus kick, wreckless and safe combo's thanks to insane meter, being able to super through 5DD 4DD makes it feel awful. Plus, he's sure as hell doing way more damage than Lambda for the most part.
  8. I'm beginning to get a little depressed about doing TK loops online, it's way to strict with lag.
  9. I feel like you should for the 236B, you put them in the corner and that's where Lambda is at her best. Mixup games, TK feints, CH loops, TK loops, etc.
  10. Ah, thanks for the tips. Didn't realize 236B was so safe. I have to take the risk and mindgames to throw out 236C when people expect 214D I haven't played enough to react to 236B>6A quite yet. Oh, I managed to get a 5DD>236C>dash out of corner>6A. Shit felt good.
  11. Good vid, Andru. I'm finding in the Hazama matchup that the fight and the pacing is all up to him. Lambda can't zone him much at all. Having difficulty rushing down Those two combo's that Lambda player did on Jin are what REALLY wow'd me though. I couldn't see or hear, but were those counter attacks that led into gravity field>combo? It was sick to see 5B>3C>DP>TK loop. If they work they should go into the combo section
  12. Doing a 5B in a loop reduces the TK by one? Jesus, this is the first time I'm reading this. Are you sure though, I'm certain I've 5TK loops using 5B twice... I'm doing 6A>TK>dash>6a>TK>dash>6A>TK>5b>6A>TK>dash 6A>TK Can't get the full thing at all online. I'm seeing more chances to, so it leaves hope in the future
  13. There's like, no video's of Pulsr using Lambda so I can't really say I like him better with only 2 video's out. Still, I liked his lambda a lot with the little I had seen
  14. That's too bad Goryus is one of my favorite Lambda/Nu players.
  15. Oh, I wanted to ask you guys with more experience... How often should Lambda do her 236B from a 3C in blockstrings? Like, it is easily mashable, does regular block>DP beat work easily? Does it take strict timing to punish it, etc?
  16. Online is full of scrubs so my win ratio's not too bad right now! I have to relearn the Tager matchup though, it's feeling like a struggle. I'm dropping a lot of TK loops in real games, mainly from choking. I'm beginning to see more opportunities to get off TK loops, which is making me happier about her damage input. Overall, I was feeling discouraged but she's fun. I have a lot to learn though. 236B itself is surprisingly good to throw out on a rare occassion. C version, not so much.
  17. I'm having a tough time getting 2 or 3 TK loops off in real matches, but in training 4 is always easy. Still need to practice getting 5 in training, I can't get it too consistently. I think it's nervousness while using ithe loop in a real game though. IS the 6th TK really worth doing? Anyway, wanted to ask you guys, how situational is getting people in the loops in real games? I'm finding it a bit tough to lead into it. Lambda's TK's feel a lot slower, I don't remember people reacting as well to them.
  18. If you want to see what I'm basically doing for hours on end, go to Lambda's challenge mode and pick number 9.

  19. Yeah, dude, I played around with Hazama. He's really fucking awkward. I didn't like his combo's. Not being able to run is a no no too. I spent all of yesterday unlocking MU. She's a little awkward and seems difficult, but she looks like she might be the most creative character in the cast with her tools. She definitely takes a lot of set ups and spacing and positioning your opponent to block in front of her orbs. Didn't try her too long Unlocking the song Sword of Doom itself was nearly worth it, I have it playing for hours while training. Lambda only has about 1 combo that transfer from CT so I'm basically learning a new character : / Her stuff is insanely easy to drop and really difficult to link. Her loop isn't as insane as Tao's loops, but it's no easy mode loop either.

  20. By the way, what is a good 6A anti air combo? The combo section has a very weak one listed, and the one they have is mislabeled, the person forgot to put CH 6A
  21. Yep, I knew that. Xdest was my sparring budy in CT. He's had a month to play, and I think he spent a week or two perfecting Tao's loops, so he's also got that on me. He's definitely good enough to compete with people at Arcade Infinity Tao's blockstrings felt so tight and her shit gattles into so much, I couldn't find much room to DP or even escape the pressure
  22. It's going ok. I've been obsessively training with Lambda's TK loops. They're pretty fucking hard and easy to drop. I've been working on them mostly and a tiny bit on general combo's, so I don't know too much yet. I'm learning her hardest combo before learning the rest of her. Wierd, hm? I have to relearn Lambda and I have to learn how to zone with her, it's very different. Once I learn the combo's I have to apply them in games and not feel so under pressure I do the really weak combo's instead. I'm pretty awful now, but I'm hoping that'll change. I'm spending about a week or so in training and then I might finally play a lot. Only been playing here and there, would rather learn my characters advanced stuff before learning matchups and getting experience on how to deal with things. Overall, fun. She's actually a hard character now, her stuff is really strict in timing and easy to drop

  23. I'm beginning to get 5 TKs off a little more now. I've been training for so long both my hands and fingers hurt. These loops are almost a mini game in itself. I played two games against the best XBL Tao player, Xdest (knows the 7k taunt loops and everything). Got beaten down bad I have to relearn how to zone all over again, that's gonna take time. I hope I don't have issues being under so much pressure that I do the really basic and low damage combos in real matches.
  24. I spent the entire day trying to Unlock MU, as soon as I started training with MU I had the biggest urge to train with Lambda again. I don't know why, but her corner throw>TK loop started clicking a lot more with me. I can do 4TK's pretty consistently and 5 sometimes. I'm kinda tempted to omit the 6th TK for now. I don't know why, but I've been practicing on this TK loop more than her intermediate combo's. I can't do 214789, so I've been doing 6A>TK>5B>6A>TK>dash>6A>TK>5B>6A>TK I kinda am having a hard time linking the 5th TK. Does it become stricter near the end of the combo?
  25. I suppose my problem isn't the "Oh my god, all I did was zone!". I'm feeling a bit constricted that as Lambda you're mainly supposed to just do 5DD>214D with some 236B and 5D>236D here and there. It feels sluggish. I'm not liking her teleport attacks too much, 236D and 236C is so fucking telegraphed it's not even funny. I haven't used it much or been using it much, but the few times I used 236C I was bitch smacked right in the face. I was using it so rarely so it's like I was being predictable. Not liking that it mainly only works if the opponent is in the middle of the screen. Her 236A just seems like a bad fucking idea to use except on super rare occasional mixups 236D is too slow and too telegraphed as well I can live without 2C, not an issue. I just feel like Lambda's tools have been limited..severely. I'm feeling like there's less room for mindgames Still have melee and some mixups with that, but eh. I am a little confused with some of her situational and spacing stuff that involves 236C into corner loops
