This was helpful, glad Tuka talked about the options of what to do after gadget finger And Severin, canceling 5D into 214A is pretty hilarious, I was a little worried about 5D being useless once Tager was a little past mid range, this should be lulzy. Does canceling 214A only work if you tap 5D once? Guess while we're at it, if Tager charges up with spark meter when is the right time to attack? I wouldn't want a 236C hit to land on him while charging only to eat a 720. Also, I've been playing possibly the best Tager on XBL/PSN (ignoring mike Z), and I'm coming to find that TK overheads and TK feints is just not worth it in the matchup, since it's low reward/high risk and usually high reward/low, mid risk for Tager. I guess this match mainly consists of locking Tager down with 5Ds/214Ds/236D. Tager seems to be the only character this move is usueful on. It's too bad, before Nu's could laugh and troll Tagers, seems like this matchup is still in Lambda's favor but it's a battle of attrition, even if the Tager isn't amazing

Yeah, what Kenja said is true, without either CH 5D or 236C or corner combo's, her damage is really garbage. I'm a little scared to use her, I'm worried I won't be able to land her bigger combo's. I'm not worried about doing her combo's, I'm more anxious whether I can land the move to set up for her damage.

Dio's Lamba sucked. I didn't like the other video of his Lambda someone posted a while ago either. He gets wreckless with DP's. I didn't like Kahqns either. I think I'm picky with who uses her. The nice thing is her character is so versatile that good players never use her the same

I looked up Goryus' Lambda just in case he was going by Gorous. lol. Actually, there's some new Goryus Lambda videos up, they don't seem to appear if you type Blazblue Lambda. Well, if the player is a known player and generally good then of course I'm not going to just use that video as a representative of them as a whole. However, if it's some annoymous player and you watch the video, the video is bad and you may never likely see that player in a video again then all you have is speculation of that one video. If a great player did bad in a video I don't see why you can't say that they did poorly. No one is good all the time. If you're trying to take notes on your favorite Nu/Lambda players you're not gonna rewatch all the videos where they were terrible, dropped tons of combo's, got hit by stupid stuff, looked outclassed, etc...will you? You might just take notes on what he fucked up, what not to do, but that's different. Gorous isn't bad, but a lot of that video Kabookie posted was. It just seems a little unfair to not be able to say that video was bad/poor represenation of him just because he himself is a good Lambda player I'm sure my Lambda will be terrible, I can still judge from afar though

Just wanna add, the best players still have unflattering vids. Maybe they're really good and it just doesn't show well on footage. But it seems unfair that just because person X is deemed really good that any bad video's shouldn't be called bad. If I'm juding a video of just ONE video with no names given, I don't think it seems unfair to base their performance JUST on that one video. If person X is generally known to be good and you see one, two, three bad vids, well, you know that video is just one of many and that you know this person kicks ass in general, just not in the particular video. I don't really think it's arrogant to make a comment on the annoymous player, it seems unfair to have to nod and agree with everything and have to have to agree that it's awesonme because everyone else deemed it to be so. I'll take it back, Gorou isn't bad, that doesn't mean I still don't think that vid Kabookie posted was good, he rushed in two or three times with a 6C, what the fuck is that? And even some of the things the opponents did. Jin did a fullscreen 5B in the middle of a blockstring. He also did some impressive corner pressure against Hazama and some good stuff on Jin in round 2, I think. He's good, but I don't like his Lambda and the vid was a poor representation of him

lol, I KNEW that comment would haunt me I don't like his playstyle I suppose TKs/TK feints don't have anything to do with nothing. Minori's pretty incredible, and Azu, who there's only three video's isn't super fancy but god was he agressive and fun to watch. Same with the few video's I've seen of Pulsr. There was another video of Gorou someone posted that not long ago, and there were times I thought, "fucking awesome!" quickly followed by, "why?" Not like I'm gonna be 1/4th as good as these players, more just comments

Urg, actually that vid you posted answered some of my questions, Kenja. Bang throwing a jab, Lambda bursting and Bang blocking it was so fucking stupid. Once Bang has heat can Lambda even keep pressure with zoning? It almost seems like the threat of Daifunka completely eliminates trying to go for any cavalier, 4DD or spike chasers if the 5DD is blocked. j.2DD even has to be cautious. Along with that she can't afford to grab him with since Bang's wakeup 5A beats her grab. She can't keep any close up pressure since Daifunka/super is so fucking stupid. I think Bang can even super through her blockstring if she tries to go for the TK/TK feint And for Bangs who are drive happy, how would I go about punishing them if they tried to counter Lambda's 5DD>214D in a blockstring?

Yeah, Kenja, I agree, the Lambda's opponents were even worse than him. I hope he's not a pro player, because I feel like I almost could play better than him without ever playing CS. I have a question with this new Bang matchup. In CT I've been able to rush down Bangs pretty hard when I'm not under pressure and without relying on 2C (except for blockstrings)...why and how is this different in CS?/

Eck, I'm sure someone will bite me in the ass for saying this, but I thought that Lambda kinda sucked, Kabookie. He looks like he thinks Lambda is Nu. He never tried to close gaps unless he thought cavalier attacks would work. Pretty shitty Lambda, if you're gonna idolize safe Lambda's let it be Minori

Someone needs to post some shit in here. Type in Blazblue Lambda on youtube, almost every video is the fucking same matchup, lambda v carl or lambda v Hakumen. Carl v Lambda is boring as hell, that matchup involves turtling on both opponents

I knew 2C was dramatically slowed down. It's depressing that Lambda can't punish opponents for not teching quick enough now though. I liked scooping opponents up with 2B if they didn't tech fast enough from the floor

I enjoyed Reria's fights against the Hakumen and Hazama, saved that to favorites. She plays a simple but aggressive Lambda. I like it. Man though, she looked really helpless in that Tao fight. Has the absence of 2C really made that matchup hard for her now or what? Xdest was telling me that Tao's drives are pretty safe now. It was wierd that Reria didn't do any dps but she did the super DP three or four times (none of which worked). That move is insanely garbage. I used it a few times last night and none of them landed despite my opponents throwing shit out while I was knocked down, it's too slow to really work as a dp. I have a question. I saw Reria doing 5C for oki pressure. Does Lambda's 2B>2C>j.c>j.2C>j.214D not work anymore on opponents who didn't tech off the floor? I hope it is, I really try to abuse that

Oh, thanks, Severin, I'll check them out tomorrow when I'm not so exhausted. Just stopped playing BB in player room with XDest and Chance Wizard, we played for over 6 hours

I still want more videos of aggressive Lambda players, especially Azu. I've decided while Minori is great, he's boring as hell to watch and I don't want to play like him.
