This just reminded me... My computer monitor has speakers inside it and has an HDMI slot. I already know it works from when a friend of mine played his PS3 on it. It's not that big, so I can carry it in my backpack. btw mightfo, you forgot to add me and Adam to the maybe list... which makes 11. AND POSTING @ 5 AM

I should be able to. This weekend, like my Lambda, is lookin pretty free. Adam told me he's probably going as well.

I remember hearing once that if you were BlAsian (Black + Asian) that you could beat Diago. Also, only safe place on srk is Tech Talk.

Not trying to speak for mightfo but we'll probably be fine with one more person. You would make a total of 8. Btw mightfo, is this going down at your pad still or are we going to set up in that meeting hall or w/e? 3 TVs in your place would get kinda cramped...

Like everyone else, I can attest that the buttons in the Hori stick are way to stiff. The joystick shaft is also much shorter than most other sticks so that's kind of an issue for people with big hands. Doubt you would be doing any modding either but when I tried to mod that thing it was hell. Most sticks ~$100 you'll find are very sturdy and take a beating well enough. If you wanted to spend a good bit more, wooden sticks are even sturdier I hear. Can't speak much of fightpads, but I heard there were issues with some models not working properly after a while. (Contact pads failing or something...) New ones I assume don't have this problem.

Actually, a modded stick can cost quiet a pretty penny depending on how many materials you use. I dumped nearly $300 into my 360 stick. (still pissed about it being gone) I talked with the guy in my English class and it turns out he has some friends in the Plano area who play BB and SF4. Told him about this thread so hopefully he'll get an account and post soon. ...and what is +10 pages doing in this thread!?

That no-staff Litchi was pretty sweet. Mix/Cross up game makes it a legit alternative. Also, I've decided that I'll be learning Mu since she's similar to Lambda in some ways. Gotta make new avatar... I've been getting way too hype over the new pogeyman games that came out recently to think about much else.

Shame Jeff can't host these upcoming weeks. I'm a bit tied up for this and next Saturday anyway though, so oh well. About potential meetups, maybe we can get something set up with Shadowlan? I know there's one in the Richardson area pretty close to UTD and I think they allow people to set up consoles for set times and events. I'd have to research it when I get time though. Maybe further down the road they can sponsor tournaments. Btw Jeff, I just commute to Collin College. I actually live in Dallas near South Garland. Also, you should use the magic of hyperlinks into the OP so it looks neater.

Same here. I can't even play at home so I get no chance to learn combos. Just memorizing things I pick up on youtube. I'm also considering learning Tsubaki now after seeing Ginseng doing fancy stuff at NCI. We'll see how that goes.

Oh snap! I'd love to play vs Hazama and maybe learn him a little too. Good to see this scene growing.
