Think I told you about it when we first met but I made a silly decision to take a console with me on a school trip, so mom decided to sell all my consoles, anime/manga, and then she got rid of my sticks. I could go on for hours about the bs she's done. P.S. she thinks BB is for homos. eh... I still wouldn't try paying for online no matter what game I wanted it for. So yeah, never going for Live no matter how tempting. I'll stick with PS-free.

Well, I've never cared much for 360s exclusives. The only one that I'm somewhat hype about is that new Castlevania and even that I can live without. I also still have all my PS3 games (which includes Valkaria Chronicles and I already beat it.) so that would be the best part about getting a PS3. The only reason for keeping a 360 if I won it would be I'd only get $200 max for it which isn't enough to get a new PS3 right away (I'd rather not get used...). It would mean immediate access to BBCS is all. PS3 has more likable RPGs as well so that's all I need to stay happy. Online doesn't matter anymore thanks to this thread. Though I'm not willing to pay for online so if I stuck with 360, don't expect to see me with a Gold account. Btw, the 360s being given in the contest are 4gb. Overall, I'm leaning toward using the 360 toward getting a PS3. Blk Friday/Christmas sales might help out. ...I say all this and yet odds are I didn't win it.

Shame about Xbox. (P.S. I totally called Valk being an M$ issue.) I entered a ton of points in that darn Mt Dew contest hoping to win a 360 too. Considering selling it for PS3 money or just keeping it only for BBCS if I win.

Adam got his rank 1000 so expect him to come this Friday. Anyone got suggestions of things I can add the the sheet or want a copy of it to mess around with? I'll probably make a full release of it for use all over DL if this works as well as I think it does.

Just corrected the points thing so they are added in manually. Rank is also manual. "Deal with it" I keep telling myself. :8/: Character listings. I can do a little more with this later but right now it's main purpose is to show how many of each character are in the Dan. A pie chart of the character listings. Because I can. A nice bar graph for showing Win/Loss and your total matches. Plants is lookin' pretty free. Meanwhile, Ronin starts a mad dash to catchup to Mig's Bang. Will this thing actually work? Welcome to the scene man. Get down to some meets asap. Yeah, I've changed the sheet up a bit since that post. The points and Dan system will have to be changed manually for now but I'm sure there's a way I can auto-mode Dans based on points going up/down later. I'll also get pages of fancy charts and graphs! :o

Not enough $ atm. I'll get back to you if nobody else offers. edit: here's my current work on the spreadsheet. You can sort by player name, character, and anything else but as you can see the rank slot is empty. I'm trying my hardest to make the system work automatically as much as I can... because nobody wants to sort out 20+ people all day once we get that many players. For example, the ratio and point areas are set to change based on the number of wins and losses. So there's no need to edit those. This causes a small complication when players hit Kyu then back up to Dan, but I think it'd be fine to just reset their win/lose ratio when they break out of kyu. More on this later. Later: Ok, after re-educating myself on Dansien for the 20th time, turns out the way I tried implementing points was wrong since from 1 - 5 you have to have 3 wins to go up/down but from 6 - 10 you need 5 to go up but 3 loses still brings you down.

I'm already working on an Excel sheet for it. The bare bones are almost done actually.

Yeah, speaking of that (YuleCon), Adam's not going. I'll see what I can manage but odds are I'll have to sit this one out. Especially if I get employment for winter break. I'll probably just save up for the upcoming A-Kon next year. It's in downtown Dallas and easy to get to by train.

After reading what jet said, I'd have to agree with him on danisen > ranbat for now. Actually never knew how that worked till you explained it. We could probably do both as a season-long thing. Regular meets go danisen and every 2nd/3rd week or w/e we have a ranbat. Naturally, this all means we need to keep score. I have mad Excel spreadsheet skills if needed. edit: I kinda like Daemon from what I peeked at. As usual with me, I prefer to focus on one new game at a time though.

Btw, to (maybe?) answer mightfo on what a ranbat is. You basically get points for your placement in a tournament. Such as... # 1st - 8pts # 2nd - 7pts # 3rd - 6pts # 4th - 5pts # 5th - 3pts # 7th - 1pt *Ninja'd from AI Blog* So it'd pretty much tell who's least free.

Man I actually got ON the stream right when that went down. First I was like "Oh thank god they're still doing BB. Just in time for GF!" Then the shit hit the fan.

Found the $20 Gaming fee before tod posted... as well as the TRE price. So for anyone looking to take the rail system down there it's... $7.50 - Train/Bus System (You want a Regional Day Pass) I would have been $5 if the location was just one stop closer on the TRE $20 - Gaming Pass ($30 if you want a whole Friday Pass) $5-$10 - BB Fee. There's also SSF4 if you want that. Total - $37.50 Assuming the entry for BB is $10. I vote for a car pool? Then again, traffic might be ass that morning. edit: Oh yes. Ranbats would be hot stuff.

(freakin' 2hr ride on DART + TRE) If there's an exact date, I can try making out to this and drag Adam along too. edit: Turns out it's Friday with registration opening at 3. $5-$10 entrance fee on top of an unknown one day pass fee. (Probably $20) So for me, that would include TRE fair + Con Pass + Toun Fee... Guess I better get on that part-time work soon.

Just to add/correct. Using Extend Force recharges your Force Gauge faster. Bursting is what makes it recharge really really slowly. Saki is You Gotta Have Blue Hair.
