  1. Finally, LOL... Heidern: I know you are pro, but, IMO, you should update the pre-reg list on the first post, and add a seperate list for current set-ups, please <3 Also, it would be cool if this thread was stickied, or added to the front page. Please add my sister and I to both lists, if possible. Please support GG at FR-- GG is a side tournament ONLY because there are too many games this year, so the hype should be the same as always <3
  2. GG's Ray, sorry about being so rusty, but I had to touch that HOS <3 However, most of your characters seemed to be on point, and you are always welcomed to use our sticks. I almost tried to call assist and could not get adjusted to the system until I payed a few matches... GG's to Spteful, Tubazo and KingD(?) as well <3 Next time, we will bring a PS2 pad, at least. LOVE GG <3
  3. That is cool, and we can also bring our PS2+AC+ copy, but hopefully, it will work on one of the avilable TV's.... And it is fine that you are still learning; I am certain that some of us can help you if you have any questions about the game/characters-- most of us use/troll with like, half the cast, and it is never too late to learn a great fighting game LOL...
  4. If any/more DL players go to the HazBats tomorrow, it would be cool if we can get some GG games going, after the tournament(s) end/if time permits?
  5. Yes, GG will happen on Friday afternoon... But whether or not GG is in the main line-up, GG at FR has always been promising, hype and diverse with quality players/matches.
  6. Congrats on 3rd place, Sanoshi <3 Keep it up, hun *hugs*...Holding it down in GG and supporting the scene. Also good to know these Air Dasher RanBats are going strong <3 Really want to make it to one someday, but the button layout scares me:O
  7. Guilty Gear results/entrants? Good to know the event was sucessful as usua, and congrats to the winnersl <3 Wanted to go so badly...
  8. I know that everyone is hype/looking forward for the newer games, but is anyone hype for/looking forward to Guilty Gear at Final Round 15? It would be nice to see everyone get together and have good games again <3 Hard to believe that FR is a little over 2 months away:O
  9. A lot of people use Slayer, so that is fine, LOL ^_^ I would love to see your Ky; I know the match-up fairly well, so do not let HOS get too close or jump (which is not TOO HARD for Ky, IMO). Oh, LOL...I was wondering how you would play Eddie effectively without summoning little Eddie:O God, I miss GG again especially after seeing Ray and Marvin last week)...
  10. LOL..... WTH? When did Mehraj start using Eddie (and Ky?)...?
  11. Late shout outs FTW... SB staff: Thank you guys SO MUCH for allowing us to run GG and for helping us in so many ways...The wonderful organizers, unlimited hype and the enviroment are some of the biggest reasons why SB's is one of my favourite tournament series'...You guys are great <3 Astral: Thanks a lot for helping set up GG, finding people and more. Also, GG's as well^_^ Mac: GG's in GG and thanks a lot for ENTERTAINING EVERYONE with your fantastic Slayer gameplay. We know you are rusty, but we tried to record as many matches as possible, and will upload them if you are fine with that. It was nice to formally meet you as well <3 Doragon Koroshi: GG's on Saturday, sorry if I seemed irritated and played recklessly... Your Testament truly leveled up and I love the hot IAD combos <3 Wish we could have played more. As for MvC3, we do not really play that often (only started taking it spomewhat seriously 1 month ago), but have been playing it more than GG (for a month). Got DQed, raped in most casual matches, then was put in a pool with mostly top players/killers; played OMGitzAndre first round, then lost to a Zero/Mags player or something, LOL... Teams was not much better, but teamed up with Nive's awesome Zero Team <3 Leonil: GG's in casuals and during the tournament. I hope I helped with the match-up, even though I had half a brain during the entire weekend (too many bad things happened on Thursday/Friday). Your Ky is VERY solid-- you are one of the few US Ky players who consistantly use the 6K FRC SE combo, just learn more match-ups and strengthen that defense <3 Nice meeting you, as well...Sorry your partner had to go home... Kyle: Nice seeing you again...It is a shame that we never got the chance to play, but we had nice conversations-- too bad you left before teams started. Take care... Nives It was great to finally meet the famous US Sol player-- I would have loved to play you...You helped me so much with Sol, and thanks for teaming up with us in MvC3 teams <3 Mike Napalm: Thanks SO MUCH for helping with the tournament, and being helpful in general... You are a very nice guy, and sorry you had to be counter-picked; my sister mains Eddie, so yes Your ABA has lots of potential and glad BB teams+singles happened and finished well. Truth. Raph: GG's during singles, and nice meeting you...Your Bacon is TOO STRONG <3 St1ckBug: GG's, you did well, especially during teams-- your matches Vs. Flash and evryone else were close! Everyone else: Kamui (sorry about the discouraging stick troubles and excessive mashing, and GG's), Paul (Your Dizzy leveled-up up, too bad my stick killed the set), Jan, BlueNINE (IKing me during teams? Jerk J/K), etc. It would have been nice if GG had a better turn-out, but there were so many quality players (pretty much everyone). Shout outs to being FREE in MvC3 Shout outs to being DQed in MvC3 Shout outs to not eating at Canes Shout outs to 100 degree AZ weather Shout outs to Fugee's daughter being adorable Shout outs to GG-- long live GG <3 Also, Amadeous, sorry about misspelling, fixed now ^_^ Shoutouts to Phoenix vs Phoenix 3: Whoever Wins, We Lose
  12. It may be too late, but here is the results thread: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12628-Seasons-Beatings-Velocity-GGXXAC-amp-BBCS2-Results-amp-Shout-outs
  13. Ky-Sama and I truly thank EVERYONE who was able to make it out to SB and enter the GG side tournaments. I know the turn outs were small, due to many people not being able to make it and/or waiting for NEC, and others being in pools or going home early, but at least the tournaments started and finished fairly smoothly...Also hope everyone enjoyed playing and watching casuals <3 Guilty Gear XX: AC (singles) : 1: Jan (PO) 2: Kyle (MA) 3: MarlinPie (ED, SL) 4: Abare-Ky (ED, KY) 5: Nives (SO) 5: Raph (BA) 7: Kamui Moon (OR) 7: Koogy (SL, SO) 9: MacArthurBlunts (SL) 9: Holy Order-Troll (OR, PO) 9: Mike Napalm (AB) 9: Doragonkoroshi (TE) 13: Amadeous (JA) 13: Mr Two (MI) 13: Astral (AN) 13: Achtzehn (PO) 17: BlueNine 17: Koopa_Klawz 17: St1ckBuG Guilty Gear XX: AC (teams) : 1: F This Team - MarlinPie & Flash (ED/JA) 2: Team We Suck - BlueNINE & Jan (MA/PO) 3: Team Troll - Abare-Ky & Holy Order-Troll (ED/OR) 4: Kamui+Bobby (OR/KY) 5: Leonil 5: Achtzehn+Mike Napalm 7: St1ckbug Thanks again to those who helped (Mike Napalm, Astral, Doragon Koroshi, Nives, Kyle, etc) and the top placers+The Seasons Beatings STAFF<3 Shout outs later....tired... BTW, Ky-Sama will be posting the bracket and uploading the singles matches+finals to her Youtube channel, as soon as we fix our computer (which died before SB)...BB results/videos should be posted soon, as well.
  14. Mac: Good to know you are in this <3 SB's would not be complete without you AKA Slayer... A3R: If it helps, we make one of your matches onr of the later ones. Due to a bad experience at EVO, we would like the tournament to start on time (around 7PM), 8 at the LATEST, because we DO plan on running teams (3v3 if more than 20 people enter), which is why we want it to start one time.. But of course, we would wait for you guys to show up, and are not DQ-happy, at all... BTW, thanks to the SB's staff, GG's top placers should also be receiving prizes <3 Also, Monday is the LAST DAY TO REGISTER, and IIRC, there will be no in person registration, so please register ASAP. Edit: [Pre-reg list (SINGLES) : 1.Doragonkoroshi - Ohio 2.Dingofist - Ohio 3. SH_(?) - Ohio 4.Sans Protocol(?) - Tampa, FL 5. Kamui Moon - Elyria, OH 6. 15. Please bring your friends, Rooster.. SB is less than 2 weeks away, and you must register as a spectator (Venue fee ONLY) if you only wish to enter the BB or GG side tournaments, watch the hype matches of the official games and eat the fantastic food at MoMos <3 http://godlike-entertainment.com/ -- The cost of the venue fee will go up TOMORROW, so please register to save ^_^
  16. Hm, I assumed this thread was already merged with the stickied thread: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12491-Season-s-Beatings-Velocity-Oct.-14-16-2011.-Columbus-OH.-GG-BB-tournies! Regardless, here are the official rules for the GG side tournament(s) at Seasons Beatings: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12491-Season-s-Beatings-Velocity-Oct.-14-16-2011.-Columbus-OH.-GG-BB-tournies!&p=1141762&viewfull=1#post1141762, and hopefully, someone will confirm the BB tournament soon, as well (so that everyone can get the days off, and organize their travel, etc)... BTW, there are only A FEW DAYS left to register before the price goes up, so please do so soon<3
  17. ^ Please make it-- everyone wants to play your awesome Ky <3 And please let me know if anyone you know is going, so I (or Ky-Sama) can add them to the list/bracket... DoragonKoroshi: LOL, we are going for (both) Marvel, as well, and Ohio is not TOO FAR from AZ, when you are flying <3
  18. Sorry about the late response, Doragon Koroshi, life has been tough... Please spread the word as much as you can, especially with SB being about 3 weeks away (hopefully, we will get a good turn-out like at EVO-- 80+ players <3). We may or may not add a small pot bonus again, IDK-- somewhat depends on the interests/entrants. I thank everyone who signed up already; again, please remember to register as a spectator or PLAYER at the SB site, ESPECIALLY before the price/venue fee goes up later THIS MONTH. Thank you... GG tournament/casual hype, MM's(?) and late-night casuals+MoMo2 <3 <3 P.S. I also thank whoever fixed the thread(s), LOL...glad that is over:O
  19. Alphakami asked me to create a new thread, so that he can MERGE it correctly and rearrange the posts... I apologize for the late response, but Ky-Sama and I were having a lot of trouble with having the days off for SB, but now, we are finally able to attend and we will be RUNNING the Guilty Gear XX AC side tournament(s) at Seasons Beatings: Velocity! We understand that the EVO GG tournaments did not run and finish as well as we would have liked them to, but this time will be different; we have recently purchased a Laptop for school (so that the brackets will be created and seeded VERY QUICKLY), will be bringing our recording equipment (matches WILL BE recorded) and we will be DQing people who do not show up on time/holds up the tournament-- so please make sure that you check with the TOs before leaving the area, and please report your wins/losses... Again, we plan to start and finish on time, so that teams can happen and finish, as well. Regarding the time: Due to the Venue practically opening for the MvC3 pools, Fugee told me that the EARLIEST we can start the tournament is at 7:00PM, but because the venue closes late (1AM or 2AM, IIRC), we can STILL run teams after singles finish (or finish top 8-3 on Sunday), if everyone shows up and the tournament runs as quickly/smoothly as possible. Regarding BB, if someone wishes to step up and run a BB tournament, then there is space available on Sunday morning/early afternoon. Please contact the SB staff (Ghaleon) for details regarding space, set-ups, organizing, etc.... Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Side Tournament(s) at Seasons Beatings: Velocity MoMo2 -- Google maps directions 2885 Olentangy River Road Columbus, OH 43202-1510 (614) 784-0888 SRK thread: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php...bus-oh.143654/ Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core (PS2) - Singles Date: Friday, October 14th, 2011. Start time: 7:00PM Sign-ups: 5:00PM-6:30PM Entry fee: $5.00 Pot will be split 75%/25% (1st/2nd), or if there's a decent amount of people (>20) 70%/20%/10% (1st/2nd/3rd). Rules: - 2/3 matches, 2/3 rounds; Grand Finals 3/5. - Double Elimination Bracket. - Player may change character after loss; winner is not allowed to change character. - Glitches are allowed, game breaking glitches are not. - EX characters, GG Mode, Kliff and Justice, are all prohibited. However, the extra colors will be legal (aside from Shadow and Gold). - Button mapping is allowed. Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core (PS2) - 3v3 Teams (Tentative/If time permits) Date: Friday, October 14th, 2011 (after singles)* or Sunday, October 15th, 2011, time TBD Entry fee: $5.00 per team member. Pot will be split 75%/25% (1st/2nd), or if there's a decent amount of people (>20) 70%/20%/10% (1st/2nd/3rd). Rules: - Each player MUST use same character for the entire duration of the tournament, players are not allowed to use the same character as their team member(s)-- Ex: Slayer/Testament/Slayer, etc. - After team member loses match, next team member plays. - No EX, gold, or shadow characters. - Kliff and Justice are banned. - Button mapping is allowed. If a player fails show up 10 minutes after being called for his/her match, then he/she will be sent to the loser's bracket and/or disqualified. However, this may change if he/she is still in his/her pool for another tournament (ex: MvC3, SSF4, etc). We would like to allow the tournament(s) to run smoothly & on time, so please try to arrive on time for your match-- in order to make things easier for everyone. If it is all right with everyone, I will start a pre-reg list. Please post or PM your name, location and if possible, days you will be at SB/other games you have entered (if necessary). To ensure that everyone is seeded correctly, your location is REQUIRED. However, on site sign-ups are also welcomed, but IMO, pre-registering is better to ensure the bracket is made well in advance and to help everything run more smoothly...Also, if possible, please bring a set-up and extra copy of GGXX:AC. IMHO, we need AT LEAST 3 set-ups, even if there are less than 40 entrants. The more organized things are, the better the chances are of running teams. By the way, I will contact the SB staff (AGAIN) to try to guarantee that we will have space "reserved" for the tournament. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. I was also considering adding a small pot-bonus for GG singles (not that I have a lot of money or anything, but I want to add more hype to the tournament(s) ). Again, apologizes for the late reply/announcment, but we have been working with Fugee and Ghaleon to organize this since August, so please post up or PM us if you are attending SB's and wish to pre-register. Also, please remember that you MUST PRE-REGISTER as a GUEST or PLAYER at http://www.godlike-entertainment.com/ to ATTEND Seasons Beatings-- you WILL NOT be let into the building if you DO NOT pre-register in advance...So please register ASAP. Help with the tournament, finding players and suggestions are always welcomed and encouraged. Get hype <3
  20. Wow, the first post looks great, good job-- IMO, the character's names looks better than the balls....However, I just want to add that Lutrano, Testuya-San and Choco use regular Sol, not HOS (meant to say this months ago, but not very important, LOL-- unless Choco switched?)...Also, I do not use/main regular Sol, and please note that Ky-Sama and I share the XBL GT <3 Sorry about being petty... LOL, so many guys known for their "pretty hair" :O
  21. Just print your Paypal receipt and bring it with you, so that you will have proof of registration, in case there is a problem. IIRC, Ghaleon said they will be posting the pools before SB, so perhaps a week before?

  23. <3 :3 I miss GG:( Koogy: Welcome to Arizona, and thanks again for your help at EVO <3 Ruben: a bit off topic, but can you please add Ky-Sama's+my XBL GT to the first post? Thanks....
  24. Not to spam or anything, but I have been reading this thread, FB page and site, but I do not recall seeing the GG results... If it is all right to ask, how many entrants did GG have and does anyone have the full results? :O
  25. It is all right, things happen, and I truly hope that you and your family are doing better now <3 Late reply, but thanks for having us on the podcast; VERY sorry about the mic troubles and extreme nervousness-- it was our FIRST TIME being interviewed and using a mic (we actually bought the mic SOLELY for the podcast, so I suppose we should sell it or something now). Again, so sorry about speaking too quietly, mic trouble, etc.... IMHO, I wonder why our voices did not sound like IRL? Was it because of the mic's quality and me being/speaking behind Ky-Sama? Thank you guys for doing this for GG-- IMO, GG will only "die" if/when we allow it to^_^ Long live GG.
