  3. It is just the game being faster overall so you have to time your backdash earlier. You'll get used to it eventually.
  4. There are so many japanese players in the US lobbies. GGs Ishiwatari. It was nice to fight a 3 bar more than once. Edit: And Mash. The things I could do in Extend vs Tao no longer work in CP...I am back to square one against her.
  5. I've been IBing and spending almost all of my meter on CAs. It is kind of sad. . All of the mods worked hard to put up the frame data for CP. You could at least have checked it out before making claims about frame data. And like the wiki says, Dia 623C has Head invul from frame 4 through 19. Not really a valid wake-up option in most cases but since you managed to make 4B into a reversal in Extend, you will probably be able to make it work after some practice.
  6. I wish there was more time after a round ended. It doesn't give me enough to keeping canceling phase shift into phase shift over and over.
  7. I'm guessing everyone in the US just goes to whatever lobby has the most people in it.
  8. I did the same testing you did and had different results, particularly with what 6236(Button) produced with different characters.
  9. There are normals that you can't OD cancel like Nu's 4B.
  10. I think they are available to buy from the start. I only did a few challenges to get some BB bucks and I was able to get them in the gallery without doing anything else.

  13. Pretty tight. Distance is also a big factor if you can land it as well.

  17. You don't actually mash. It is just the speed at which you have to press buttons to combo in this game is around the same speed as if you were mashing out combos in Extend. It is definitely nicer to have a faster rhythm.
  18. How universal are our combos? Do we have to start grouping characters together based on their hitboxes?
  19. It's really easy if you just buffer the 22A.
  20. The mode change is just 22A so I guess it would be mapped to Square, which is the default pad config.
  21. So they took away 5C's whiff gatlings. And Luna's drives have no gatlings in block. Guess we should update the wiki with that. I was able to do it by just doing everything as fast as possible. What is the full combo you are trying to do?
  22. Good. Someone else has noticed this as well.
  23. It only happens with certain characters. I had no issues doing Tsubaki's or Hazama's 623 motions by doing 6236 and I never got 236 by accident. However I have to actually input 623 correctly with Nu and Amane or else I'll get the 236 move. Really weird.
  24. You could just post it here if you don't want to make a new thread. It would be helpful for people who haven't been watching match vids and have no idea what Izayoi combos should look like.
