  3. but honestly I'm being turned off by her a tad because she seems a bit too easy mode. Why do you find her interesting? The KoF style strike throws? The character design? That's the one move that really caught my attention when I first saw him (other than those godly dashes). Dat range. lol, getting hype for characters that may or may not make it to the series later down the road. I'll instantly main sub Saya the moment she's released, no matter how complex or weak she turns out to be
  4. I'm not even gonna touch Amane and Bullet, they seem pretty stale to me. Amane not as much but I'm not a fan of zoning-heavy characters. I might fiddle with Azrael for a day or two though. Definitely going to try playing Izayoi, I'm a sucker for the red heads. Specially when they have good gameplay variety (zoning/rushdown/teleports/teleports/teleports).
  5. Man, those present boxes have a shitload of start-up. I'm probably just gonna MM them away since it seem to have a faster start-up than just dropping them. Also, Stuff > 3C > 236A~B, sj.C > JC > j.C > 236A~X works mid-screen. Probably going to be the go-to combo in this section of the screen. Crouching confirm > stuff > 5C > 6C > more stuff also works.
  6. New character syndrome, most people are susceptible to it (including myself lol).
  7. It seems that the first hit has a very small hit-box and hits slightly above Jin. As we've seen, you don't have to worry about using up your freeze when using TK Hizangeki as an overhead; the first hit will whiff. I don't know about its usage mid-combo though. I'm guessing that if you're relatively far away from the opponent then the first hit will still whiff and you'll get the 2nd hit only. It might lead to decent damage in the corner if it were to work that way. Now what I'm worried about here is whether 5C > TK Hizangeki will work due to its long start-up. I don't know how good/bad that move prorates, we'll just have to wait and see.
  8. This was my original idea, to keep track of stuff. Anyways, I'm gonna change the thread title to "gameplay discussion" and the thread will be strictly dedicated to gameplay talk. This one will be more lenient, any Jin/BB related talk is welcome here.
  9. I saw it work on a video, the guy did Air Combo > j.D > Hizangeki and the first hit of Hizangeki freezes the opponent. I can't remember the exact video though.

  11. Looks like Plat lost her instant j.B overhead against Tager. It makes sense though, that thing made the match hella unfair for Tager as you could get 4K+ from it with the right item and pressure him forever as long as you didn't screw up the timing.   12. The second hit of Hizangeki counts as an overhead, Hizansen doesn't count as an overhead at all.
  13. Then again, I always go for 66 5B after 6B. Automatic frame trap and pressure reset. It's all about conditioning people though, specially with low frame advantage like that.

  15. I'm a real conservative ass when it comes to meter. I'll take a chance and condition them into not being mashy fucks with 5B(1) CH > massive damage. Yeah, you probably won't get much out of 2B if you don't micro dash it. Do people really disrespect your 6B that much? 6B is the normal which people seem to respect for me a lot. They'll mash the shit out of 5B x N though lol.
  16. Yeah, 6B > Hizangeki is going to be sweet. It saves you 25 Heat since you don't have to RC the 6B to go into overhead shenanigans. I'll probably just land and use 2B since 6B is probably still + on block.

Q: Are Hizansen and Hizangeki overheads/highs? A: Hizansen is NOT an overhead. The 2nd hit of Hizangeki IS an overhead though. Q: Is Jin still gay for Ragna? A: Yes, very much so.

  21. I'm not even online (on the PS3) though, lol. We need to setup a schedule, I'm available to play after midnight and early in the morning (EST). Purple throws... they're legit when you exploit the TRM system or when you don't have much to lose from using them (people refusing to tech).
  22. Interestingly enough, I can block Litchi's 6A better during Stickman super because I know that I can't do any other defensive actions (jump, DP, backdash, etc.), so my focus is all centered towards looking for the overhead lol.

  25. I'm gonna upload one which was a close match. One where you beat me with the 6.9K Dive loop and one where I Astral you lol. @Nemesis - Usually with Plat because of how easy it is to combo into. Jin can only combo into it in the corner, off a high juggle 6C > 6D. Throw > Astral is pretty much the only way I land that thing lol.
