I'm guessing that Jin's mid-screen, meterless combos are pretty much settled (unless OD comes into play). ABC > Ice Car is the standard, 6C > 2D > [j.2C > j.C] or [66 6B] > ABC > Ice car for crouching/CH confirms and 5C > 2C > j.D > AD > j.2C > j.C > ABC > Ice Car for anti-air confirms.

Jin is not one of the more difficult characters to learn so it will make sense. It's sad to know that we're all going to be doing beginner ABC > Ice Car combos mid-screen without meter though lol.

It would have been hilarious if he had used his Rapid just for that but he used it to chase the drill super from one end of the screen to the other. Otherwise the damage would have been much lower since it can't possibly carry the opponent out of screen bounds.

He also needs an OD and 100 Heat. The Bulk of the damage came from that OD DD + Rapid (about 3K). We'll probably be seeing a much less damaging version of this combo in actual combat.

Amane's combo... > 126 Hits > 8.5K damage We Curse Arakune tier now. I wonder if that particular starter will be easy to land. Seems like a move used to call out anti-airs. CTs have "minimum damage"? I never did like CT's time based scaling combos. Oh well, works for me since I'm the oki > damage type of player. I won't hesitate to give up some damage if it puts me at a hugely advantageous situation after knocking the opponent down.

You can only have two treasure chests out in the field at once though. It'd be kinda crazy to actually litter the battlefield with treasure chests lol.

Wait, I just looked at that video again. Hakumen does two 2As. The first one goes through Rehyou and the other one hits Jin a little after the I-frames wear off. Huh, I guess we'll need frame data to confirm after all.

Actually, I just tested it out, and shtkn is right. Hakumen's 2A was outside of DP C's hit-box, that's why he tagged Jin without getting the little "invincibility hit circle" that a character usually gets when they they try to attack something with I-frames.

Looks like they nerfed the I-frames. That jab should have gone straight through DP C and neither Jin nor Haku would have been hurt (Jin would eventually get hurt though). You usually can't punish Jin until after the "slash effect" disappears yet here he got tagged in the middle of the "slash effect".

In other news, I'm free to throws. The reason why I was able to block all those OHs is because I was playing with AI Tsubaki earlier with Infinite Drive Stocks on. Basically that bastard of an AI will try to use the 22D unblockable at every chance it gets. So I had to sharpen my reactions to dodge that thing with a perfectly timed backdash, a DP, or a jab if I was close enough to it. Shit payed off lol.

I think you might be right. I mean they were pretty much talking at the same time and not taking turns like in special intros.

Azrael also has a special intro with Hazama. He offers him a drink, Haz refuses, he smashes the bottle and tells Haz "I'm strong, you know?" or something like that.

I'm just going to wait for someone to make a complete intro compilation video. There are WAY too many intros now for people to try and dig up lol.

Yeah, she strikes me as a psychokinesis user, if anything, telekinesis at least. Force Choke a bitch :D @Surfeit - Hahah, don't sweat it. I guess we'll just have to pray that the players don't skip the intros.
