lol, I totally forgot about that. Is that all that's left for the tutorial? If so, I'll get on that tomorrow after I get done with all the shit I gotta do. I should be in bed right now as I have to get up at 7 AM later on x_x

Even when I can beat you just as hard with Platinum as I would with Jin? lol I know that feel though. Tsubaki, Tager, Noel, and Lambda make me a lot saltier than any of the top-tier characters whose name is not Taokaka or Ragna. Tager, Noel, and Lambda because it's a huge guessing game with them... Buster/AC/5C/MTW+RC (Tager), 3C/4D/2D/j.D (Noel), 5D/6D/4B/4B+RC/Empty Jump Mix-up (Lambda). With Tsubaki, I just don't understand her pressure when Drive cancels come into play. I could push a button but that's exactly what they want me to do. I could just hold back+up but I could get tagged during jump start-up or by a low. @Zeth - Once you get exposed to it enough, you'll block those cross-ups like nothing. That cross-up only works in the corner after 5B so you could always just yomi air throw him or some shit. It's when he has meter to do j.236D feints when you should be worried lol.

It literally is my job to help my fellow Jin players and helping people through PSN without a keyboard is a huge pain in the ass so I could understand those two lol. It seems that you probably don't know about gatlings so check this table out: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Frame_Data_%28Jin_BBCSE%29#Revolver_Action_Table I'm pretty sure you're familiar with reading tables. The way you read this one is that you have the starters on the first column, which are separated into rows. In row one you have 5A and every possible cancel/gatling option after the first column in that same row... so on, and so forth. Memorize this table and you'll know all of your available options at any given time. Doing your own combos is all good and well but you're losing a lot of damage and other benefits. At least from what I could gather when you used your own combos. We'll eventually upload Jin tutorial videos, so look forward to those as they're made specifically for inexperienced Jin players.

You need to learn your fundamentals before you move on to setups. You're doing some really weird/not optimal combos there. Hit up the combo thread and learn a bunch of those. Then you should move on to actually trying to open people up. You seem to just do pressure with no specific goal in mind. You're doing nothing but feeding me meter if you're not gonna attempt high/low mix-up and throws. It seems like you were going for tick throws after 5B; you need to time the 5B > Throw link correctly so that you don't accidentally attempt a purple throw which can be broken easily. As for high/low mix-up, know your options. After 2A/5B you can do either 6A (high) or 2B (low) or a throw. You can also attempt a cross-up by jump canceling 2A, 5B, or 5C and using j.2C cross-ups. Refrain from using 6C in block-strings as those are punishable. DP A/B can be ducked under and DP C can be baited with a jab and punished. Also, don't auto-pilot Sekkajin; learn to hit-confirm into it.

I should have checked the thread earlier, good find. @The Above - Teach you what exactly? Or do you just need someone to play with? Wrong thread but I guess I could play a few sometime. Post in the Jin general thread please.
-
I mean, her normals already have godlike reach and do stupid damage and you want them to be faster too? Come on now...
-
The EX version is an actual, unblockable command throw. I'd rather use RDP D to end combos than the command throw since it sets up his cross-up hyper hop j.2C oki.
-
It might have bad range but you're aware of that range and you're not gonna have it whiff. I do remember getting frame trapped after 3C because if I don't do something after 3C, you're just going to get away or a free pressure reset. I usually IB 236A so I'm not worried about that but 214A is a threat when I'm about to get guard broken. Edit: Oh wait, you said 236A and my brain said 236B. Yeah, I don't know what to do against that thing lol. Other than being on the lookout for the grab.
-
Oh yeah, with meter most DPs can be used to start pressure. Jin's 5C has the reach to tag her after I bait the DP with a backdash or with a j.C if I dodge it in the air. lol, that's the beauty about it being a guard-point DP if it goes through Hotaru but I didn't know that it negated Counters as well.
-
Wake-up supers, you threw the dice and it worked more than necessary lol. Isn't 214A barely -2 on block? Guard break resets are legit, I'll drop combos just for a chance to break someone's guard and go for a 5.5K combo lol. Doesn't her DP have quite a bit of pushback on block? I haven't played a Mu in a while so I can't remember all that well. I just know that I always have time to dash 5C with Jin and dash 5C with Plat.
-
She doesn't have as much recovery but her DP is much easier to bait due to its crappy range. It's a good thing that one of Plat's best starters has a 10F start-up. I can imagine it being a pain for Hakumen since he can't dash but how much would you get off a Gurren/4C confirm or whatever you use to punish her DP?
-
What are these "stupid Lambda things"? Ragna is only slightly more braindead than Mu. Mu's moves are more prone to punishment when used at the wrong time than Ragna's moves. Which is reasonable since her Cs have a shitload of reach and do stupid damage near/in the corner.

Man, KC was really on some shit. His playing style is hella unorthodox but it got him the wins. Then Yamachi's all like "LUNA-SAMA POWAH".
-
I wonder if Kyo has a full-screen carry HD combo. Time to check that shit out.
-
lol, you cheating bastards and your cheating HD combos. I'm all like "come on guy, wake up reversal, make my day". Thank God that Kula and K' can carry you from one side of the screen to another and still retain most of the high damage with their HD combos.
-
Also, try not to Burst after getting hit by Mami if I have 50 Heat. I will (and did) react to the Burst(s) and punish you for 4.4K+ lol.
-
You still have a LOT to learn with Plat. Refraining from doing random Heart Cars is pretty much the basics. Hell not even the basics, that's just common sense lol. Yeah, don't use Led Ley unless you have Ignis to back you up with 6D or 2D or whatever. You're vulnerable a few frames before Led Ley ends that's why I'm not afraid to just mash 5A through it.
-
GGs Star Also, lol, RX127 is hella salty for whatever reason. "Fuck you 2 bitch" But I... didn't even say a thing to you... lmao
-
GGs Toan Shoutouts to missed inputs Shoutouts to making The Legendary Rath and RX127 RQ Shoutouts to adrenaline taking away my tiredness (which is a really bad thing).
-
That... does not sound right for some reason... lol
-
A fitting song for Star-Demon, lol. We'll make a man out of you Star XD @Star #2 - I might try playing if the family isn't hogging the net.
-
lmao
-
Meh, I forgot that you're hella uptight. I'll just mind what I say when you're around. Although I'll take that advice for the other guy, I can only take getting my nuts ridden like that for so long. @Mucky - lol, neutral tech > wake-up backdash like most other Tagers or you could be classy and do wake up 2C/AC/360A/720.
-
Read the above... I didn't say he got exposed, I said he got called out. Get your shit right. @Toan - You do know I was joking when I said that? Right? I mean I even went through the trouble to have the stuff in parenthesis right after it. Then I jokingly explained when and how I'm patient, I thought that initial "lol" would give it away. Sigh... please remind me to be a 100% serious and sincere next time you're around when I post. Please do...

lol Patient = Not pushing buttons during defense unless I pretty much have to. Dealing with whiny people. Taking my time learning a character I like. Not Patient = Waiting to play a match.
