Buffer from hitstun is really common for me - an easy example is Haku IAD j.C then land and miss the combo, or if Litchi is hitting you on the ground and the staff comes back, the staff hitstun is practically nonexistent if you're standing so a lot of the time it'll let you out of her combo. As well, if Tao does 5C->6C and you get regular hit, you can 720 her out of the 6C, so I pretty much always do one there too.

My hero, Yumura, buffered a 720 from getting hit by a poison nail in some vid I saw once.

My advice for generic combo->Shot would be to finish the combo and take your extra legit damage. Usually people are waiting to not tech by the time you get to the Shot...and also the tech time may be scaled enough that they can tech in the air, which can ruin your setup anyway. (If they are determined to not hit buttons you can even jump up and airthrow for unscaled stupidity.) But, if you land a random Shot usually they are trying to tech because they are hoping you'll screw up, and as well they pretty much HAVE to bounce tech, so that's a much better opportunity to go for the 720.

Also, backdash is easily readable, try doing jump, late j.B that whiffs, 720 instead...and of course mixing it up with actually hitting the j.B->combo.

I found that every once in a while if you are in the middle of a pressure string and they block on 5A ill buffer and do a 720 off of it because a lot are overly aggressive after the move to hit you before the sledge comes out had some ragnas and others charge right into it though if they are dont charge in you are going to get punished

It seems that jumping into 720s is coming to be a bit practical again. One of those cases of, its used so much that you'd never expect to see it ever. Then suddenly jump 720, effect magnified if magnetized. Whiffing 360B into 720 is an interesting one also. Very gimmicky but can catch people off guard still.

Wiff 720, start buffering 720 holding the whiffed one. 720 them again when they go to punish the first one. Hilarious, but actually got it to hit in a match once.

There was a bunch of teleportation stuff I had never seen or heard of before in that video. Anyone got an idea of what is going on?

Yeah I'm guessing nirvana has something to do with the carl glitches along with auto guard and probably allecan and vivace, but the tager 720 from full screen is the most puzzling.

Does it only work on carl? Cause if he can do it to anyone, then lol.

99% sure the Tager glitch isn't something Tager can "do to" Carl, it's something Carl sets up and then does at the right time (after the super flash) so that Tager ends up next to him. They just did it like that because it makes a cool video - like most of the 2-player glitches from Marvel.

Off topic: A weird glitch happened to me the other day. I used 360A but my friend crossed me up, he ended up behind me but I still grabbed him @_@

That's not exactly a glitch isn't it? I mean weird hitboxes are weird, but they do exactly what they are supposed to do.

This glitch is still on my mind though,is it practical for the carl?

A little while ago I was able to jump B 360B, but lately whenever I try it he just does the stomp instead. Was the couple times I got it a timing fluke I had? Is it possible if the jump B is blocked? Thanks

if they block sledgeB I usually go with a,a,a,c,d sledgB, with a few variations, like 6a if they seem to try to jump out of it, or a quick a, B+C, sometimes catches them off guard as long as they aren't barrier blocking... gotta try that a,a,b,720, sounds fun, if they are magnetized does it consider it a combo grab or does it leave them far enough away to get an unbreakable?

If the other guy is camping me and they arent Nu, Arakune or Rachel, what do I do? Had a Ragna camping my ass and I had no clue what to do. Tried Sledging because I was stupid/impatient and got obliterated for doing so.

how come I can't astral in a ranked match by holding L2, shooting spark bolt, and mashing X but it works in player matches? every time i do that input in a ranked match after the spark bolt hits tager just does a normal electric punch. my only guess is their health isnt low enough but its happened to me more than once...

So is the general consensus that Tager's counter assault isn't worth the meter? I've used it once or twice to escape pressure, but it seems like a lot of meter to burn in most situations.
