true but the fact you do cvs2 style as well sounds pretty cool as well. for onlne play leave kliff and justice out the character selection so you cant pick them. actually eighter way it goes they should put GGAC + or not on ps3 and 360

Basically any game with good netcode is using GGPO or an imitation of it. 2DF, HD Remix, and Marvel are examples of the latter, and even those are all slightly inferior to the real thing for various reasons: 2DF has a touch more input delay in general and doesn't have any delay correction for CPS3 games (e.g. 3s, Jojo's), and HDR/Marvel are much worse at handling long-distance connections than GGPO is. Blazblue and VF5 have the best non-GGPO netcode of anything out there, but they aren't on par with anything mentioned above. Unfortunately, Japanese devs always say they'll use GGPO then back out for various bullshit reasons...I suspect they don't want to step on the arcade industry's toes. Remember, HDR and Marvel were American projects, and we don't really have an arcade industry to worry about!

GGXX#R PC has the best netplay outside of GGPO/2df/HDR that I've experienced. Roughly half to a third of the frame delay of BB online, and nothing essential is lost with 2-4 added delay frames except for a few single hit hitconfirms (and GREED SEVER I guess). SF4 PC is also pretty darn solid, or maybe I just don't notice the slightly higher delay frame count due to the slower gameplay.

Wait, I thought this was about AC netplay? Still waiting on that arcade board rom dump (I hope Hellfromabove is reading this!).

I've never played Guilty Gear in my life, but after playing Blazeblue I'd buy it in a heartbeat for ps3 and I'd bet there are many more people out there just like me.

I've never played Guilty Gear before, but I would definitely pick it up for the PS3 if this happened.

See ArcSys? There are a lot of people interested in trying out Guilty Gear who have been drawn into the fighting game scene by BlazBlue. You've given them an appetizer, now bring on the real meal! GGAC (or a new GG *HINTHINT*) would be a day one purchase for me. I would then lick my TV, attempting to savor its deliciousness, for about 10 minutes before booting it up and wearing the skin on my thumb away. LONG LIVE FRCS!

I don't mean to disrespect, but less then 60 people is nothing like 'a lot of' in this case.

While it would be great, keep in mind that AkSys is a PUBLISHER, not a developer.

The post above you clearly said ArcSys not Aksys.

Yep, but this whole thread is for AkSys representative who posts here. There is no Arc System Works representative lurking here AFAIK, so asking them to 'see' something in this thread is really ambiguous.

I would purchase the Playstation 3 version of Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core the Midnight Carnival if such a version were to exist with the capability of having a jolly old match vs an online foe.

guys...being serious...is there any way or some1 who can/will relay our cries to ARCSYS..cause GG online with no or minimal lag would be (insert emo here)...

Letting my voice be heard. This really needs to happen ArcSys/Aksys. Look at the successes of SFIIHDR and MvC2 online. I guarantee you the same can happen with GG. You have the technology.
