There is something missing, and that's a quite a bit of damage when you go into a crummy combo like the one you just posted. 5C CH > 6C > 2D > 6C > DC > 5C > 6C > DC > j.C > JC > j.2C > 214C is one of the most damaging combos you can get off a 5C CH. The alternative and most common combo off 5C CH is 5C CH > 6C > 2D > (dashing) 6B > Sekkajin > 6C > 214C, it does about 300 points less damage than the first combo I mentioned but it offers slightly better knockdown. I remember posting this exact same thing a while back.

I don't know where you "noticed" that most players go from 5C straight to j.C but those guys need to revise their combos.

I mean that at * some people jc and go into j.C > jc > J.2C > 214C and I was just wondering if it was any different if you threw a 2C in after the * then sjc'd

Once again, they need to revise their combo because they're missing out on some damage if they ignore the second 6C. If you add a 2C after the second 5C then you can no longer use the second 6C. That in turn makes the combo less damaging and it prevents you from using 214C because they can tech out after the first hit of 214C; 2C reduces the untechable time for the combo. In short, just don't use 2C in a 5C CH combo and you'll be fine.

When you do BnB with 3C finisher, you gain some advantage, right? So what are good options for Jin to resume pressure? I wonder if 236D can be used somehow...

You do gain advantage. 236D is commonly used as a reset to continue high/low mix up pressure in the corner. 236D doesn't work on all characters. The norm is to end with 3C,236C for meterless knockdown and advantages.

236C is a useless oki if it's not in the corner too.

all they have to do is roll back.

Use 2A, 5C, 2B, 5B instead midscreen/corner.

yep, they have enough time to jump out of the way of the slow ice blade if you do it midscreen

I'm having some trouble fighting against my Hakumennish friend, so 236C isn't really an option. I'd prefer something that can give me a chance to mixup throws, but I can't think of anything.

dash in 2A is one of Jin's best oki.

It would catch rolls, and cross under neutral tech.

if you want to mixup throw you can always just run towards them and in the heat of the battle they will try to back roll/neutral and there is your 6B/throw mixup. (cancel to barrier guard if u think they gonna DP)

also I believe I Said this like couple hundreds post back, please don't be lazy to read all the old stuff

here is your chance to help a complete scrub. i'm playing on xbox and i can't seem to preform Sekkajin correctly. the opponent gets pushed out of range on about the sixth or seventh hit before they get launched even when i start mashing C right next to them. what am i doing wrong?

Either you're too far away when you first start Sekkajin or you're not mashing dat C quickly enough, leaving a little gap between 5C and Sekkajin's first hit.
