(If there were no points, how the heck would I be in first? I didn't win either of the last 2, heh.) Maybe this is just a final tournament for who wins, but AFAIK points are the outcome. James? If you don't go, you get third, not second. Hah. Besides, if there are 16 people and I get knocked out early (as has happened before) then you can win anyway. Whiner. :^) Also, seeding just puts you somewhere in the bracket, like on the side with more scrubs, it doesn't start you any closer to winning. 1st and 2nd seed are placed at top and bottom so they can only meet in the winner's finals if they both win; 3rd/4th are placed halfway between, so they meet any other seeds as late as possible in the tournament, etc.
ZONG_one Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I thought James had said points dictate order. 16th fights 15th, winner becomes new 15th. 15th fights 14th. etc. So based on that, you'd go last. Basically, if 16th wants to win first, he has to beat EVERYONE. Just want to clear up my confusion. EDIT- Can't find the post I'm looking forrrr. ..you know I'm going regardless.

With that in mind, finals could come... after evo, but before quals if people want to play for it. Format is still up in the air for that one. Scott might not able to able to make this one, as he has plans. I don't suppose anyone else has HD capturing equipment we could use? :<

They'll put the other one back up. They have another set up. I also talked to scott about getting them to put it up on the old SFIV vanilla machine, with the two monitors. That'd be hype. "/ That would be nice, i hated how I went to AI today and saw the KOF machine there. And all that was left was the tiny cab in the back. That stick doesn't like my Ragna. =(
