Airk Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 she does look playable in cs2... but im going to be honest, she dosent look fun to me anymore. come cs2 i'll try her but i'm likely dropping her for a more fun troll. thinking between tao, carl, or ragna! I'm not following you at all. What do you think has changed that makes such a difference in her playstyle? Right now, it just looks like her CS1 playstyle only A) It works and B) there are more options. Also, sue me, I like understanding WHY things are why they are, and I'm generally not content with just being told that something is bad without anyone making the why's clear. :P

Campa Man Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Hey Does Anyone Know Some Reliable Blockstrings Where You Can Charge In between but still keep pressure on your opponent ? Even though it might not be safe a small charge in between blockstrings could be helpful
Tsubaki 5B Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 you should check out the video forum that's up or the Combo selection there more information there:roboky:
TheSexyHat Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Another Question: I started playing as Tsubaki (and BlazBlue in general) and later went to Ranked Matches, I started winning my first matches but then I started loosing, this is obvious that I need more practice. The question is...where and how?
pktazn Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 What I do is go into training mode and work on her combos in there. Get used to the timing and work with different things by making the AI do specific things that you want to work on. Like if you want to work on air combos, set the AI to jump and work on the combos from there. If you need to work on blockstrings, set the AI to guard (you can have it so they don't alternate between high and low so you can also see what counts as a low or overhead) and practice trying to get a hit on them and what you can combo into from that hit. Also experiment with her moves. See how far you have to be to be able to hit your opponent, what works, what doesn't, what connects, what whiffs, how fast are they able to tech out, etc. Basically, try different things and see if they work in training mode rather than trying it when you're actually going against someone and hoping it works. Then when you're comfortable, I highly suggest playing against others and applying what you practiced. If it's online you'll probably have to adjust to any lag that comes up but just playing with friends and others who are good should help since imo any match-up experience is good in the long run.
DJHUOSHEN Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 So I plan on picking up Tsubaki once I can start playing BBCS2 (LOL SWITCHING FROM S TIER), and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for common blockstrings or good 2D cancel practice suggestions for me. The goal for me is to be familiar with her and her normals by the time I start with CS2 so I can jump in and start working on CS2 combos. Your suggestions will be much appreciated. In the meantime I'll probably post some vids of me sucking badly with CS1 Tsubaki.
Ginseng Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 Tsubaki's pretty bad, have fun having -frames on hit :D.
DJHUOSHEN Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Tsubaki's pretty bad, have fun having -frames on hit :D. I'm excited. It tingles.
STenSatsu Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 5b>nothing, 2aaaaaa, and 5aaaa are your safe blockstrings. 2d is best after 5c or 5cc but you can use it after 5b, 5bb, 2b, or 2bb for mind games even if it's technically worse than just letting the move finish. Unfortunately Tsubaki gets worse the less your opponents respect you and you don't really have any way to force respect without a bunch of charges and meter. So enjoy getting reversaled out of everything against anyone decent.
Ginseng Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 Lol that or getting mash 2Aed. Oh well! Back to Starcraft 1 for me lolol.
coil Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 lol! simple question! how can i make use of an 22x counter? after the wallbounce i can hit a 5b and... a 5b! i dont know , 2c never hits thanks
Relunx Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 After 22x counter you can easyly do: 5b>jbc>jcc>236a>214c It works for me. Relunx
CassioAZ Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 anyone has some tips to do 6CC+SJCancel+J.C? the challlenges require it alot and i cant do it and a consistent way, u know. many thanks =)
diospyros Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Before 6CC, you have to wait until the opponent is on the floor and time the 6cc and high jump. For two challenges with this, you can push bang in the corner. However, there's one that's going to give you a lot of trouble and it's with J236D>J214D. You also have to wait a little after she's done with the 236 animation. I hope this helps.
Rhiya Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Anybody else ever use DP B? The invul is kind of weird, but it actually seems useful to me for some reason. You have to yomi it a bit, because the invul doesn't start until the hit, but it works in places DP A definitely won't.
Airk Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Seems like it's the 'no trading' DP - you'll either get hit out or hit clean.
Relunx Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 A General question: Lately when I beat a player in ranked matches (PSR 130-160) they immediately send me a message like "u suck", "you're a bad player" etc. Can someone explain why? They are in equal PSR strenght with me (I have PSR 146 right now). Is this some kind of trend or what? Or I'm played against 12yo kids, who can't lose? Relunx
STenSatsu Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 It's online and they just got beat by the arguably worst character in the game who is even worse online than irl, it's just salt. Break out the fries.
Ginseng Posted January 29, 2011 Author Posted January 29, 2011 Also PSR is one of the worst ranking systems I've ever seen. It's such a superficial ranking, almost as superficial as the Starcraft 2 league system.
pktazn Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Yea I wouldn't worry about it. They're just salty they lost to Tsubaki
