Yeah, but his 5C actually had range. Depending on how much smaller it got, it might not be possible anymore.

Naw dude man bro Rachall and Karl are where it's at. I don't even think Rachel has gotten a single nerf other then like what, slower lobelias and tweaked wind recovery? Like ONE nerf compared to like a GAZILLION improvements of varying intensity. Well, maybe not a bazillion, but a lot. A few key ones such as the J2C and Pumpkin are where it's at. Tempest Dahlia not using any of your goddamn wind can't hurt, either. Probably like Rachel and Carl for S Tier and Jean for S- tier or something along with Hakuman or Lambchops.

.......unless Rachel wasn't really so hugely monstrously buffed as I thought. That would be too bad, because then I couldn't play her. Ah well. Jean is a pretty cool guy too.

Too bad about Makoto, though.

so you lost something, its ok.

tager lost alot of damage from CT in CS1 and spark got a damage nerf.

Damage nerfs and range is different.

As such, Bang's 5A can hit a crouching enemy. It prorates a hell of a lot, but people almost always sacrifice damage for a confirmed combo.

A lot of combos can be made off of the smallest extension of reach.

lol yes they are but jin's 5C in CT was dumb, in CS it was still silly and bangs 5A can go into 3k in CT too...the only thing they did was made it hit croucher's.

It goes into the same damage, but I don't mean that they trade places. I mean hitting with a bigger hitbox is sometimes more important than damage output. It can make or break a character.

What is the difference between Rachel, Noel, and Ragna's 6A. The hitbox. They all float the enemy, can all be jump canceled (or lead to a move that can be) and comboed into, but the hitbox determines how useful it is. In Ragna's case, and it also has great synergy with one of his best pokes and establishes one of his best combos. His 6A normal AA is the best of its kind in the game.

There are other things too, but it's the small things like that that make the character bump up in rating.

Yeah, for the last loke test, we should have a strictly "information only" thread where irrelevant posts result in a ban. We also need a general discussion thread where everyone shits on FormerlyUnknown, and people swear at Blade, Skye and Tempest Dhalia.

Lol, it was completely necessary because it meant that he didn't have any kind of fast poke that hit crouchers, nor did he have a real AA (he still doesn't have one now). I guess they decided to make up for the fact that he has no solid 2A poke and no AA with a 5A that works as a decent substitute for both. Note that they haven't nerfed his 5A, because he would instantly go back to total shit if they did. Yeah he could hit 3k off 5A in CT too, but then you had to give up all your seals and oki.

Also for the last time, people need to stop acting like Bang has broke damage or something. His damage is slightly above-average at best, and his meter gain isn't particular phenomenal (it isn't terrible, but it isn't Litchi/Valkenhayn/Ragna/Hazama) either. He gets a lot off Daifunka and in FRKZ and that's really about it. The reason Bang is broke is because he has absurdly good mixup, approach, safe pressure, and goes into FRKZ really easily, which is where the real brokenness begins. If you want to complain about anything complain about FRKZ, or you can be like that one scrub back in the other thread who thought FRKZ was useless and a troll super.

Nigga, Jin have been getting buff all day, don't whine over a few nerfs.

Jin's mix up is better than it was before, and his high damage combos went completely unchanged.

Deal with it, Jin is still probably the strongest character from the loctests, especially the nerf guns that happened to Mu and Makoto.

You're funny. If the changes stay, your little overnerfed Mu will outpoke him all day long and you'll go all :yaaay: in front of your TV, holding that controller of yours. 5C was already a pretty bad poke, making it air unblockable and give it a shorter range was the last thing he needed. They should just at least put it back to what it was in CS1.

Again, you don't know how bad of a poke it is compared to a lot others.
