the japanese like to abbreviate common english words down to its first two syllables. Location becomes　ロケシャン (lokeshan) which is shortened to ロケ (loke).

I.. don't understand that tidbit about Noel. 'Mashing midscreen into 4200 damage?' Does that mean that she has a relatively easy midscreen combo that does that much?

I'm just generally confused because it doesn't even come with any sort of combo notations. Almost as if it's not meant to be taken seriously.

It's kind of irksome to think that the people who have shown up to this location test know so little about Noel that it's to the point where they've resorted mashing, realizing the combo they pulled off did a decent amount of damage and then passing it off as 'news' worthy of being mentioned.

well, it's not like "oh god I just mashed buttons and did 4200 damage" doesn't tell us anything about noel.

well not much of a Noel enthusiast but whenever I see her do her combos it does look like a bunch of D mashing symphony playing in harmony to do gratuitous amount of damage. Not bashing on Noel players, im just sayin. she is a pretty good character over all, just wish her combos didn't look like they could be done by facerolling.

Its funny how people forget that Noel drive uses all buttons and call us D mashers. The 4,2k combo was probably drive one so he called it mashing.

Or he could mean "mashing" in that he was just randomly throwing unsafe stuff like 3c out and somehow managing to get them to land. Raw 3C into her BnB does get 3.8k right now, so maybe he got 4.2k off of some corner combo?

Midscreen BnB off of 3C does 4.2 right now. But since it requires spring raid, this combo would not be possible in CS2.

Meh, I was thinking the much simpler 3C > 22BC > 66C > 5D > d.6B > d.5C > j.D > 6D > 236D, the one that most every Noel player first learns. That and I didn't read the "midscreen" portion of the post

No biggie, looks like Noel will be doing a simple combo at the beginning of CS2 as well, first thing I'm gonna do is go into training mode and find out what rapes.

She would be fine if they weren't completely nerfing her drives and 3C. This is seriously ridiculous if they couldn't see that it was going to make Taokaka a bad character.
