Tsuchi Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hey there. Anyone playing Kanon? I've been trying to pull out some combos with him, but I guess that like always there's more to do. The wiki doesn't seem to have combo information yet and I'm still not interested in tag combos, I'd like to master some individual ones first. Anyone would mind to share their ideas?

As for the question marks, either you set the language for unicode-incompatible programs to Japanese or start the launcher via AppLocale. If you don't want to go through the hassle... <Screen Mode> First radio button: Window Second radio button: Fullscreen, check the box if you want to keep the scaling <Game Pad> Press the button (if available) to configure the buttons of your pad; from top to button: Weak Attack (A), Medium Attack (B), Strong Attack ©, Touch (D), Taunt, Start, Weak+Medium (AB/Special), Medium+Strong (BC/Throw), Weak+Medium+Strong (ABC/Meta), directional keys/analog selection.

I had the same problem but after installing it it worked fine.

I can get some of the less busy looking stages to run 60fps in windowed mode after entering the metaworld now (still a bit of slowdown before/after the screen shatter effect, but I guess that's normal?) Time to start practicing mah Ange.

Xtra_Zero Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 After playing this game offline with friends for a few days, I think I really like it. There are some weird things like lack of hitstop when hitting airborne opponents and no backthrows but overall the game is really cool and it seems like the Metaworld cancel mechanic actually has some strategic value. It seems like there's a nice selection of normals that have lots of uses for each character and it gives just the right amount of a poking game to retain good spacing strategy.

Just came up with a tier list based on my experiences, here goes: Eva Lucifer Beatrice Siesta Ronove Shannon Kanon Ange Virgilia Battler Based on their reliability to do stuff without wasting too much resources.
