Just to be clear, is Akatsuki gonna be in the game? He's the only character that interested me at all.

Yes, all characters in the arcade version will be present in the console port.

Probably don't have time to even further investigate a PC version at the moment. The PS3 version needs to be going gold pretty soon so their focus is probably that right now.

 

Hmmmm, to be honest, I'm not really sure when they're going to get time to investigate a PC version since after the PS3 version releases, they might need to focus on Dengeki's console release if Sega is having them do it.

It's being performed on the AI in Stage 1 of Arcade Mode. It might just be that the AI doesn't think to tech, like with various black beat combos in GG. If not, guess a 2.03 will be coming along in the next month.

 

EDIT: Oh wait, there's no indication of invalid. We Hideyoshi now.

Actually, it's in training mode, so it's legit.

 

I expect a hot fix or something along those lines soon enough

For the first time, maybe. I don't see any difference between a single move and a combo repeated over and over, especially when you're on the other side of it.

Game seriously still has problems this bad after being patched how many times?

 

I mean, the chances of you encountering it in an actual match are marginal, but just the fact that such a huge oversight exists at this point in the game's lifespan.

Geez, this is like the first bug found in this game within the last 8 months... But anyways, I'm surprised no one hadn't found this yet since all you need to do is use Wirberwind in the corner.

 

But yeah, Waldstein players are having fun using this in the latest Spica Freeplays. Gashi-san beat Senaru's Eltnum using it.

yup. You can see that hitstun bar don't change.  It's clearly a bug, and not a problem in the general mechanic (like linne infinite).

Btw, the description of the video says you have to connect just the last hit of walldenstein 623C....maybe because of this it taked so long to be discovered (from september of last year to last week).

Character would still have to get in. Seriously what's with Akatsuki If this was any game other than Unreal Full Screen Normals he would be fine but he flat out doesn't have the range to compete sometimes

I feel that the best way to improve him would be to just reduce the startup and increase the hit/blockstun of his fireball. Make it something that you want to avoid entirely so you can't get air-unblockable'd and allow him to have some actual space control. His close-range game is fine and he can use the game's defensive mechanics well. He just has to get in at all.

He also needs midscreen damage.Badly.His midscreen stuff is a joke at best.
