FYI EightArc = Qanba

Just different branding

If you have a TE, there are some really nutso easy solutions out there for you that anyone can do

Yeah, just do a little searching for "kitty" in this forum for the super easy TE modding solution.

I hate quanba's. The buttons are closer to the sticks than other "standard" brands. elbows pointed outwards.

really? haha, i always wondered why i never felt at home on them, i thought it was just my imagination

There's also the fact that whatever button is labeled as 'C' magically "doesn't work" whenever you use one~

Has anyone tried a chronus adapter on a stick for a one payment dual mod solution?

From what I saw there, no one had done any actual testing and just say that because it's kind of common sense to anyone with an understanding of how this kind of stuff works.

Still, actual numbers would be nice to know.

Oh, well, next time I'm on SRK I'll remember to not skim through posts.

Before you get into numbers, does the device work in general with sticks?

it actually doesnt work with ps3 stick to ps3 (which is what i would use for a pad to have a tournament legal pad without removing the battery) but i dont have a 360 to test!

the ball part of my stick has started becoming very loose -- and likes to unscrew itself with just regular gameplay-- can this be fixed by gettign a new ball or what? help me out guys cause this is seriously disruptive

Posted

Open the stick up; On the underside of the shaft is a screw. Hold the ball steady and tighten the screw good and tight. If that doesn't help, you could always super glue it, but that'll be a problem if you ever want to replace the joystick.

thanks for the prompt respone quiet -- and I havent seen you online in some time! lets have some games k?

ill give that fix a shot as soon as I can

I've been on a bit, though not in the last few days. Maybe my net connection is no longer playing nice with yours? Dunno. =/

Anyway, this should be an easy fix for you.

I heard you guys mention once that TE madcatz are easy to dual configure for both PS3 and XBOX -- well since I have free time and some money Id like to project my interest in finally trying BBCSEX on PSN ! If you could instruct me I would be most grateful (again)

Heard the easiest way was using the Kitty board, in which case you would need a 360 TE IIRC.

See if you can find Toodle's thread on SRK about it.

you have to solder and do actual work with a ps360+

better off with a kitty or a cerberus board

kitty deals with harnesses while the cerberus just plugs it in

I just bought a new stick (yet another madcatz TE) its in great condition and already my game is improved -- however I find that the stick itself is much looser than my old one -- prompting me to fly off in wild directions on the occasion -- is there any way to firm up the movement of the actual stick?

I'm not an expert, but you can probably replace the spring for increased tension. This may or may not actually be a good idea, however. Unless you're actually having trouble "finding neutral" it's probably smarter to just get accustomed to it, rather than install something to give it more "Fight".

Edit: On the other hand, the things cost like 90 cents, so, whatever, go to town. <ahttp://www.dustloop.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.gif' alt=':)'> The process is apparently super easy.

Hey, dudes, do you know if the PS360+ is already upgradable so it can recognize PS2 and Dreamcast?

I heard they released a new firmware for it, but so far I don't know if it adds support for "older" consoles.

Is it confirmed that PS360+ already works on Dreamcast with latest firmware? I want to update it.

I also heard once it'd add support for Saturn.
