Heartless Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 Just finished watching the Makoto vs Haku-men videos. Mugen + Over Drive is some scary stuff. Finally they made Mugen viable.

pochp Posted November 24, 2012 Posted November 24, 2012 There is still potential for some really high damage combos leading into knockdown, it just costs meter and/or looks actually hard to do now looking forward to what the players can find though, there's hope for some lame stuff, but I'm learning other characters atm in case I'm too much of a fraud to win with her. Cards Against Humanity is awesome.

In exchange for not bursting and being low on health, you basically have 15 seconds or so of unrelenting justice. Does Bullet have any tick command grab setups, I know she has an ordinary command grab reversal that she can't combo off of without meter.

Had to stiffen the stick and put in a new gate in order to bring joy. Now to be serious (I already was but...), I wonder if its a comon thing amongst octagonal gate users that are on Sanwa or if it's just me.

I do not believe she has tick command grab setups, unless she is in Heat lvl 2. [Not sure] Since depending on what lvl of heat she is, her moves change property. Her command grabs hit high, mid or low. So I guess their is potential there. Bullet is an interesting concept of a "Grappler" and I hope this style stay's. Because I think the old model of grappler needs to go. It looks like all the Dp's in the game cannot be a combo starter without meter or when in the corner.

I will still support the community with money, game technology & gimmicks. In the end, I enjoy way more the community than the games that are played. Only real issue is if we can fit the monitors and the luggage (not much, but a bunch of sticks DO take up some space).

Good news is that whatever we choose to take on the spot can probably be changed with a phone call later on if we need to, but choices become more limited the closer we get to Friday. Decide fast. I'll be travelling light myself. Extra deodorant to make up for it, so plenty of space in there.
