Starlight777 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Did anyone read Mega Man's story on the official site yet? They just copy pasted his Legends story. I'm all for trolling every now and again, but that's just mean spirited.
Remius Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Wow. They're really holding no swings in the trolltastic destruction of that mascot, are they? IMO, that's taking it a bit too far. I highly doubt there is anyone who would actually be excited for boxart Megaman, and actually including "MEGA MAN" as a character without the actual "MEGAMAN" being there is just... To me, it's nothing but an indication that they honestly aren't going to take this game very serious, and it's probably going to end up like MvC3 in terms of gameplay integrity. I've never seen a company suicide their own mascot this bad. At least SEGA never actually intended for Sonic to be shit.

I honestly thought Bad Box Art Mega Man was just humorous until I read his bio on the official site. Seriously go read it I never thought they were going to take the trolling THAT far.
Hecatom Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 im less, and less hyped with every announce that they make for this game, lol
Blade Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 And people made fun of me for liking "Megaman Zero" as opposed to Zero from MMX...how sad.
Aegis High Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I have to say this, GTFO Capcom! seriously.
Starlight777 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 im less, and less hyped with every announce that they make for this game, lol When they announced Poison I wanted to like this game, but I just can't.
Dont_Explain Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) And people made fun of me for liking "Megaman Zero" as opposed to Zero from MMX...how sad. Both forms of Zero are boss. what they put in SFXTK for Megaman.....lol I just saw the video of him and all I can say is R.I.P Megaman Edit: If anyone wants to see the monstrosity that is Megaman....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MFkGo-hsCY&feature=g-logo&context=G27c80c9FOAAAAAAAAAA Edited January 27, 2012 by Dont_Explain
iw2ma Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I believe that Megaman is the sole reason to get that game. It had nothing else going for it other than decent cinematic trailers.
C0R Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Yo. Megaman looks hype. I wonder if I can have him and Dan on a team.
SolxBaiken Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 For you the day Megaman was announced for SFxT was the worst day of you life, for Ono...it was a Tuesday.
Blade Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 On a related note, I'm not all that hyped for Moku-Pac-Man. I own Pac-Man Championship Edition DX and that's probably more satisfying than....that.
Xtra_Zero Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Honestly I think Bad Boxart Megaman is kind of refreshing, if comical. Could you imagine if Capcom rebooted the Megaman series with that guy as the main character? It'd be different, I'd give them that. They'd definitely have my attention.
Tong Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Cool, Tekken characters will play like SF ones. That means no EWGF
Blade Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 That's not the full roster of characters' moves...unreleased info yet?
Vulcan422 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Cool, Tekken characters will play like SF ones. That means no EWGF Fuck that, canceling pre-order. Not really.
Blade Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I just thought of something...Tekken 3's King had crazy throw loops IIRC...is that gonna be in this?
C0R Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Seeing as how the character has been completely recreated for an entirely new engine, I don't see how that could even be possible.
Jocelot Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Yeah....I wouldn't hope for too many loops and juggles from Tekken in this game, thats just setting yourself up for disappointment. King does have some kind of...knee launcher in SFxT though, kinda like El Fuerte's st.Roundhouse in SFIV that he can loop by itself like four or five times. Then go from there and combo right into his anti air grab move. Knowing Capcom though, they'll probably patch it out, lol...
Blade Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 What I'm hoping doesn't happen, is that they use the Gem System and make it as broken as Heroes & Heralds in UMvC3.
Hecatom Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 im pretty sure that the actual gem system is not what they planned in the begining, look how weak sauce it is compared to what ono said that he wanted to put in the game, i remember that in some previous pics you could see how the gems affected the size of the hadoken of ryu, obviously because the backlash that the announcement of the gems had, capcom decided to go on a very tame version of them
MikelAL93 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Promotion Trailer #9 (Jin, Bison, Ogre, and Akuma confirmed). Oh, and Lili has such a cute Japanese voice, props to Asami Seto for providing it. :3
