LunaKage Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Well my threads were slow at first, then they blew up so fast that we needed a skype group chat just so I didn't have to make a new thread every three days. It's all about the atmosphere, when I first became Noel mod, my people were used to the old ways, where the Noel boards were home to plenty of trolls and the like, after I established that I was offering a more friendly environment, user activity skyrocketed.

Which is, of course, perfectly understandable considering her currently unreleased status on home console. To be quite honest, I'm not sure I'd want things to be too random and/or fast to follow in the general threads. Long before that, I'd probably have a skype group/irc channel set up for those who wish to talk so rapidly. And if people would like, I could set either of those up whenever. I'm really proud of how the original Platinum actual discussion thread turned out, so I'd like to keep things somewhat in the same vein. I don't mind off-topicness, but let's keep it within reason, alright guys? As for the thread title suggestions, I think I will in fact go with either "Platinum General" or "Platinum The General", and have the subtitles be separate threads. So now my question is, which one? Platinum General, or Platinum The General? Which do you all like more? (i'll make a decision when i wake up tomorrow. ┐(￣∀￣ )┌)

Although I do lol at the possibility of a general thread actually having an off topic post :P Skype group chat does work wonders though.

When I say "off-topic", of course I mean something unrelated to Platinum, Platinum's character(istics), or this board in general. And again, if other members here want it, I could make a Skype group or irc channel at any time. They do indeed work wonders.

NVG is nothing but on-topic, and totally 100% professional discussion about Noel. I mean every 5th post is about the Noel bikini fan art! How much more dedicated could anyone possibly hope to become?! This isn't Gamefaqs! It's serious business. Also, Platinum the General just has an absolutely awesome sound to it. I definitely like it. Well like I said, I didn't mean anything conclusively, but some matchups are glaringly one sided (a la Noel<Tager etc.). I'm just curious if anyone's noticed any that are particularly good/bad for Plat...

She has huge damage potential in the corner, and midscreen can corner carry very easily. Her drive is separated between six randomly generated items you equip with 5D or j.D, which you can use with either 5D or j.D again. Her defensive game is weak, as her only specific options are her drive Bat, or Cure Dot Typhoon. For anything any more detailed than this, I suggest checking out the gameplay guide in this forum, albeit it being a bit outdated.

I might be missing something here but what does "yamete kudasai" have to do with Platinum when Noel was the one that said it? And what else have we learned from this match? 6C > j.C is an unblockable. Not even Bukkaka could stop that shit. That move always get people lool. I am starting to think that 6C > j.C could be really useful for mixs up and stuffs. Though, the move does take a while to come out.
