Sphere211 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Hey man F Champ got screwed up by Nasty's Skrull. THAT was damn awesome.
Aureliano Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platinum were all at least partially on disc from the start, that's how their themes got uploaded to Youtube so quickly. They were ripped straight from the disc. And I get what you were trying to say, I just find it rather amusing how you say that one company releasing DLC is just an inferior method of adding more content, and then say that another company doing it makes it loathsome money-grabbing in the same sentence. The themes and emblems were on there. Did you miss the part where the data you downloaded was like 300mo ? And I'm not saying I prefer one company over the other. I'm just commentating on the way they went on the matter so far. Good job making assumptions. On topic, mashing for enhanced damage is stupid but I guess people liked it so they brought it back ? Heh.
sweetvids Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Mashing does make sense in some respects. The added 10-20 hits of unscaled damage to assists can really add up if you happen catch them with a Hyper. It also can prevent people from doing extended combos as well. In Vanilla there were plenty of characters that could combo after Hypers with and without the use of X-factor, but now with mashing, the added extra 20 or so hits may cause enough hit stun deterioration to help decrease the amount of one touches. Not too sure, but definitely would make sense.

But for some reason I'm hoping to see someone mash so hard they go into X-Factor.
SoWL Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 *snip* Again with the oh-so-evil Doom image? Latverian laws are actually pretty simple and cool; there are probably no lawyers simply because they are not ambiguous.

SolxBaiken Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 If that's legit, eww to Jill (simply because of how she plays now and the fact the control device is still embedded on her) and "meh" to Shuma, as that's not my favorite interpretation of him, cause it makes him seem "generic" [as far as aliens go] but maybe it'll look cool in motion (?)
Sphere211 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 If it's legit then we're just paying for crap that's already in the disc [What else did we expect, I suppose]
Nini Heart Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 If that's legit, eww to Jill i'd hit dat

BACK ON TOPIC All the alternate costumes look like shit to me, and these new ones are no exception. A classic Jill costume would be kind of neat though.
Starlight777 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I see RE3 Jill has the control device (WTF happened to consistency?) and Trish's man hands (Did Ono get anywhere near the dev team when this happened?) Also regarding Shuma's costume, wtf am I looking at?
SolxBaiken Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Also regarding Shuma's costume, wtf am I looking at? It's most likely based off this incarnation [hard to tell but Shuma Gorath is among these Many Angled ones]
Hecatom Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 http://shoryuken.com/2011/11/09/umvc3-dlc-outfits-for-jill-and-shuma-galactus-mode-assist-me-outtakes/
Nini Heart Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Vergil apparently has a way to reset the groundbounce since his trial mode 10 uses two. I'm guessing it's either High Time or Judgement Cut.
iw2ma Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 All the alternate costumes look like shit to me, and these new ones are no exception. A classic Jill costume would be kind of neat though. that IS a classic Jill costume lol.
