My theory-fighting team of Zero/Strange/Vergil seems to hold up decently enough for now. Strange is super fun. I need to learn real combos with everyone though D: Learning the game at a tournament where losing gets you kicked off a casual station is really interesting. I feel like I was learning things faster than usual. I even started getting the hang of doing launcher>MMH>delayed Impact Palm>land>relaunch, and it was after not touching MvC3 since like April or something. The game still feels really weird to me though. Mostly just comboing after a launcher just feels like I'm playing on ice or something. Very small differences in your jump timing or timing of your launcher after a sweep seem to force the timing of the rest of a combo to change dramatically. It's strange. Probably still going to go buy it when I get home this week for Thanksgiving though. So many cool characters D:

TSHKN Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 true SOBA this game more for fun i hated how stupid MVC3 but i find UMVC3 pretty fun so far im going to try not to succumb to salt and try to have fun with it and just fun Also the local netplay not ass so far and i played on wireless with my friend with no lag

Personally I think you should just change the order. Zero/Vergil/Strider with Hiryu's Y assist being the aerial voice of reason against zoners and Zero/Vergil synergy you should be fine.

Yeah I'm not sure why they're using that term either, considering Zero's HP is still extremely low. It would make more sense to say he got upgraded from a cannon to a uh ... uh ... this is dumb.

Has been for most MVC games, we'll see....
