For me, winning doesn't automatically equal fun.

Some of the best times I've had playing this game were ones where I was losing consistently against a better player in a 1v1 room really going at it trying to figure out how I could beat him. Or just screwing about doing whatever that popped in my head to see what I can get away with and create some hype moments, win or lose.

Frankly, in the competitive side of things, I'm not interested in being better than others. I'm only interested in being better than myself from before.

Oh dear lord I wanna burn Toan, now all Lambda players are just throwing out spike chaser.

Stop hating. It isn't that hard to deal with. And you brought it upon yourself by saying how much you dislike it.

Hey man, it's just...I see you guys and how good you are, and then I see myself and I just wonder WTF I'm doing that's wrong. It's incredibly frustrating with how I'm not seeing any improvement even if I try to make one.

And then I see other players who are really good at this game and I just get incredibly pissed at myself for being a mashy scrub. I'm like "Why are you doing this, man!? There's so much more this game/genre has to offer and you're just pissing it all away on mashy casuals with your best friend!"

But you're comparing how well you are with X amount of time to people who've played 10X times more. You should be comparing yourself to people who've played around the same amount as you. You wouldn't compare a 9th grader to a college student, would you? You're on the same path, it's just a matter of making it as far down.

But what Batousai said is best. I only want to be better than my previous self. I have more fun fighting people who can wreck me.

Play me some more and spam it, so I can over it lol.

That's the reason why I like fighting Really good people. I like losing more than winning. But I'll play anyone.

Don't wonder about what you're doing wrong, find out exactly what you're doing wrong. Remember, we all started out as scrubs. It's just that most of us strove to get better as opposed to just complaining and getting down on ourselves at every chance we could get.

Watching Insignia and Starlight play each other is comedy gold.

Ohh! Ohhh! Counter! Mmmm. . . Fatal! Hnnnnnggv

Playing my brother only makes me pick up dumb habits to fight his dumb habits. Seriously I feel worse at this game when I bring myself to his shenanigans.

Pssssh, Star would kick my ass.

You Sandbaggin'.

Okay - I'm going to try to make a list of things I'm better at since February...

I can almost do combos.

I have a lot more gimmicks.

I almost have corner mixup.

I...

This is stupid, I don't have anything, yet.

Does anyone want games?

Oh my god Starlight, I'm tired of playing your ignorant, stubborn brother that does the most bizzare shit ever.

Who the fuck does sekkajin > 5C > J.B > J.5C > J.D > 3C > 214D (EX) it barely hits 2k

And the nigga just gets his pants wet when he gets a CS2 combo with haz, and calls the swag loop useless.

Bizzare.

GGs to training dummy.

Is it normal to get much worse as you practice more?

I think my pad is getting a little *too* worn in...

How many pad Litchis are there?

when you start getting rapid cancels and bursts out of nowhere, it's time to get a new controller

I'm not really worried about the buttons. The pad does, though. If you watch my streams a lot you'll see 41236 end up being 4236 and that comes out as 6D.

DPs will come out as 2D - and this blows me up when I find an actually good spot to DP And lose it because 2D. I've seen this happen to a lot of litchis lately.

Maybe it's time I had a few "Stick only" sessions.

It takes years to get really good at fighting games.

It's hard to suck it up and remember that the road ahead is long, and that your goal is far away - that you can't become a god capable of crushing everyone overnight. But you've gotta learn that one way or another before you can really start getting better.

the sooner those people learn that there is no true way around hard work and patience, the more effecient practice will be. l say this often and all l get is basically 'nigga l want tournament wins NOW'
