Seiyaria? Played her on ranked and she gave me delicious PSR.

Just fought her. Pretty dangerous Mu.

GGs

Edit: ive been kicked from two games in a row with great connections. Why do people feel the need to kick me when i play with bang even when i lose. For christs sake im not even good with him.

Really? I mean....REALLY?

It couldn't possibly be you, or the other person, or someone else on your net, or someone else on their net. It has to be the netcode that is "so bad", even though countless other people seem to be able to play fine on it. And the game apparently having bad netcode is the deciding factor to make you start to dislike the game? Ok.

Deja vu.

When are you going to give up and admit the netcode is bad. :P How long must you CLING to these SCRAPS

Because it makes no sense. How can I sit there and play with most of the guys from NY/NJ with practically negligible amounts of lag, and try and say this game has bad netcode?

I played against Judgemastar who lives in CA and while there was lag, it was still completely "playable" even though it was an EC to WC connection.

So what do you think is more likely to be the cause, "bad netcode" OR all the other variables that has to do with people's connections when playing with each other?

In my personal experience, I'm gonna lean towards everything but the netcode itself.

I blame it all on ping now.

I had better connections with the coasts than I did with fucking Indiana.

sorry to say mac i agree with zeth, the netcode changes arent that big really. with enough clean up i can play ppl in florida and texas with playable delay. like a 2 and higher. then i get someone who lives about 30 minutes from me by car and we experience unplayable lag.

it seems its more dependent on the persons setup and variables involved with bandwidth usage than it is with "just the netcode"

Look people, if Blazblue's netcode is "bad" then i dont know what the fuck you're comparing it to.

Edit: on topic, GGs LastStarSavior, you're the only Noel i've felt respect for.

I also love how noel can still apparently hit 3.5k ---> corner off anything

Obviously people's connections play a part in it.

But everyone else having a bad experience and then Zeth having a good connection doesn't necessarily mean everyone else is imagining it. Maybe Zeth just has a great connection and everyone else represents the average instead of Zeth being the standard.

I'm mostly comparing it to my own experiences, game to game. My connection didn't change -- the game did, but then I experienced changes in the netcode. So then it makes more sense to assume that it's something about the netcode that caused the difference. You have to compare it to your own experiences in the previous games. Do you think there were differences between them, or was it all just your connection all along?

The netcode is fine, one of the following is taking place if you're playing some laggy ass matches:

  1. Either one of you is using up your bandwidth outside of BB netplay, directly or indirectly.
  2. Either one of you or even both of you have some shit internet.
  3. Either one of you is playing on a wireless setup.
  4. One of your internet routers is acting up.

Play on wired setups, you goddamn clowns. There's absolutely no excuse for not playing on a wired connection.

Edit: the netcode seems pretty much the same to me.

I'm gonna start doing this on Friday, then. Good with you?

Should be good. I'll try to not stay up late gaming like I usually do the night before

GGs to all those that came by my room on PSN. I had a lot of fun. :)

Unfortunately the netcode is so bad it is really starting to make me dislike the game. I am going to Arcana Heart for a while.~

AH3 has horrible netcode. The difference between AH3 online and offline is way different than BB online and offline to me.

I want to play arcana with someone, online.

get online somebody, i enjoy free booty.

:)

Play with me again someday. I still play the game.

Except I don't have a great connection. My speeds are slow as fuck, and my ping isn't anything amazing, if I remember we practically had the same ping.

But like I said, if I can sit there and play EC people in good matches, how can that imply the netcode is bad if there's multiple examples of the game playing fine and not really laggy right there.

Whereas if there are certain individuals who are consistently complaining about lag, is it more likely to be the netcode or their own connection if others can already attest to it not being the netcode that's the problem since they can play it good themselves.

For what it's worth, I've never noticed a difference in the netcode between ANY of the BB games, but then again I don't play it nearly as much as some of the other guys/girls.

despite netcode changes my connections have never once changed. it makes me wonder about a few things though in all honesty i believe its mostly people in general and not the netcode.

Our connection in CS2 was a 3. Now it is 1/0. Am I not important enough to remember psyco?

Edit: In hindsight, this is probably going off-topic since this isn't a netcode discussion thread. Damn me and getting caught in the flow.

I dunno, I've played the same people before back to back in different versions of BB and had it be wildly different. So I don't know how else to explain it than it to be the netcode. But who knows. People I had great connections with would be unplayable, and people I never could play with before would be decent.

Yeah in CT I never lagged with mAc.

In CS1 we had some spikes but it was ok.

CS2 netcode does not like me and mAc chaos.

CSX...I wish I can play mAc again.

I suck online atm.

I guess it's just one of those weeks.

People's connections can change over time. For instance, if you have cable, you could get more or less subscribers on your node, changing how good your net effectively is. The ISP could've run newer wire, or they could be directing traffic a different way than they used to, too.

Has Taokaka always been this ridiculously mashy of a character?

Of course.

You didn't know?

Sometimes... we mash 2B.

GG's to everyone in TD's room. I had fun and felt like I learned one about the Rachel match up:
