Zoular Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I should be coming to EVO this year all things going according to plan, and I like the sound of the first option too.Seriously!? Best of luck!
Zeromus_X Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Hey Xie, what exactly are the off-site events for Sunday? Going with a friend and we didn't really plan on staying after Saturday, but then we saw you had some special events listed for Sunday.
Level5-Chan Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I'm coming to Evo, the only Montreal representative. Let's show everybody that BBCSEX is NOT just a side tournament, that it should be a main tournament.
Xie Posted June 12, 2012 Author Posted June 12, 2012 Good to you have you repping Montreal. In other news, we do need a couple helping hands to help babysit the bracket/stream/etc. We also need to guarantee some full setups (monitor + console + game) as well. To be honest, this schedule is based on 10/minutes per match, 32 people per pool, with 6 setups total. That said, I absolutely don't want another GG 2k10 to happen again, so I will probably change up the schedule based on how many setups we can guarantee.

For the full setups, I can only help bring a game. But, I'll be glad to help you doing a helping hands for the events. Also, I'll be soon paying my entry online to you. (Like to be certain and ready)
Airk Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I seriously do not know if I will be able to make it to this, but since I'm already missing all the events I was planning to get to this year (Hi, family medical issues) I may make a stab at getting to Evo. That said, if I just stumble in at noon on Saturday, will I be able to sign up and play?
BatousaiJ Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I'm coming to Evo, the only Montreal representative. Let's show everybody that BBCSEX is NOT just a side tournament, that it should be a main tournament. I won't be at EVO, probably going to try for NEC though. Rep that Tsubaki love at EVO, Level5~
Xie Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) If you sign up online and show up in time for roll call, there's no problem no matter what happens. If you can't make roll call, you can even call or text me to let me know what's up, and they'll be no problem either. Also, if you're interested in money matching Chou, I've read somewhere that he's interested, so raise up your voices and challenge him. Edited June 13, 2012 by Xie
Alpha152 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I'm almost sure I'm going (but not 100% certain) and would like to help out with the stream stuff, etc. I'll have a definite answer by next week.
Raptor Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Might be able to go now thanks to a new schedule change. Lack transportation however.
Alpha152 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Redblack will be picking up Scrub so you can probably carpool with them.
x AJ x Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Xie. The tournament is going to be completely PS3 correct. If so, I can only provide a monitor.
Level5-Chan Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I've got question for you: Is PS3 pad allowed in our Tournament? I saw the "Pad macros allowed, macro enabled controller not so much" message, so I was just wondering about that. If not, I have to prepared on stick or buy a PS2 controller.
Zeromus_X Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I'm pretty sure regular dualschock PS3 pad is allowed. I think he just means if you have some kind of pad that can macro your inputs to one button you can't use it. But the in-game button macros are fine. I can bring my setup complete with poverty Dell monitor. Also... Hey Xie, what exactly are the off-site events for Sunday? ?
Xie Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 For Sunday I was planning like a faux banquet somewhere, I haven't actually finalized the details yet. The tournament is indeed PS3, and if you don't have the EVO Monitor, don't worry about bringing it. I don't want to be anal or anything but I'd rather just keep it uniform so that when people DO feel like complaining about X setup, we can just tell them to shut the fuck up because they're all the same. At any rate, you can play with a wireless PS3 pad so long as you turn that shit off after you're done with your match and you have some way to sync it to the next PS3 pad. I would greatly prefer wired pads because this shit is potential for major headaches, but I'm willing to cut a little bit of slack for the purposes of the tournament. You can use any in game macro, but none that is directly related to a controller. For example, no autofire or automatic controller shit.
Yuushiro Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 so Xie, I don't need to pay the $70 fee to evo for this one right? just want to make sure.
Alpha152 Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Correct, the $70 fee is only for the main games (UMvC3, SSF4, etc.) BB singles will only cost $10.
Shiragaku Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I will be unable to make it since Vegas on the opposite side of the US D: But will there be streaming available on the official site or is this mostly a Dustloop event?
