Just as the title says. Those ef'in bastards deleted my Youtube account because of 2 combo videos...

I think i might send an email fighting for the account back because what exactly is it infringing? They are combo videoes using music. (I think youseika had music from the Bleach opening) but people use music from anime openings all the time. ARGH!!! Im pissed as hell!!!

The problem is that you can't really fight it because, legally, you don't have a leg to stand on. You could ask YouTube why they didn't just remove the infringing videos instead of suspending your entire account though

Well one of my friends on youtube told me a reason why the entire account got suppende..

the reason they suspended the account instead of just removing the videos is because youtube have so many videos to deal with that its simply easier to remove the user so no more future incidents can happen

Sounds cheap, isn't it? but i geuss that is what they do...

I geuss the next time around, we must use disclaimer infomation and copyright infomation in order to prevent such a thing from happing again

This is exactly why i dont support the music industry at all. I stopped buying music when they deleted my aunts account when she posted a video of her 7 hear old daughter doing tumbles ,because there was a part of a prince song playing in the background.

If they wanna act all pissy over music then they should start with the uploaded movies and other stuff. I know it's hard to look at all the content but there has been even more done up there than original stuff

To be fair on Sony BMG, they probably didn't start this themselves because if that was the case they could find many, many more CMs to take down (They do have a 25% market share on music). Most likely it was either the actual artist who contacted them or someone who just squealed. In either case, Sony BMG HAS to take action or it will render those copyrights more or less invalid. I actually blame youtube more, Sony only complained about two videos, after all

well im goin to at least send an email seeing if they can remove ONLY the infringed stuff, and make them realize how appreciated the account was to see if i can get it back, but i also highly doubt it. on the good side im done cleaning my room... (after flipping tables and knocking sh!t over out of anger from this) EDIT: I JUST REALIZED NOT ONLY DID THEY DELETE MY FLIMZEE00 ACCOUNT BUT THEY DELETED ANY OTHER ACCOUNT UNDER MY EMAIL! Why did they suspend the G3 account too... Wasn't that just Sauga match videos only??? I think these bastards are just trying to clear space on their servers; the copyright issue seems like a cheap excuse to do it. Sorry Rae, I know how pissed you must be. Flimzee definitely had the best GGXXAC collection of vids

If the line of thinking is that people watching these kinds of videos do so for the music, I don't believe that. Most of the time I mute the volume when watching combo vids anyway. Tough luck Rae, hopefully you can get this worked out.
