STenSatsu Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Sounds like im just going to downback all day. Seeing her drive made me think if Azrael can just boogyman (Growler Field) Out of her charges bar the one with Invul. Ill give her another look, i was turned of initially, then on, then off massively again. She's got a decent overhead and I think a command grab so her mixup options aren't bad. Not to mention IAD drive crossups.
Nora Kisaragi Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) Sigh. So if I'm understanding this correctly from Jin's arcade story, they threw away every single bit of character development Jin had in CS and he's back to acting like a clueless dumbass in Chronophantasma? They threw away his monologue with Hakumen, trashed his yukianesa training with Jubei, he's back to being "NIIISAAN" even though he managed to get over it in CS's ending, and he is still dumb as hell when it comes to Tsubaki. Am I understanding that right? Oh and to top it all off, in-game wise Jin got nerfed while Ragna got buffed. Greeatt. Feels great to be a Jin main!...not. Oh and Jin got cockblocked that his new "DD" is something he had in CS (in unlimited form, granted) Edited November 27, 2012 by Nora Kisaragi
Koopa_Klawz Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Every Tager and Arakune has died a little on the inside. That shit should like, be the end of us.
stickystaines Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Oh and to top it all off, in-game wise Jin got nerfed while Ragna got buffed. Greeatt. Feels great to be a Jin main!...not. ?? I've only heard the opposite.
The Noble Clap Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Sigh. Plot related baw None of that happened in the arcade ending of CS. Character interactions are notably different in them. All that happened is Yukianesa doesn't control him anymore.(At least that much.) Gameplay baw Jin got a new move, a new DD and new properties on some of his moves. He also got a buff to Sword Wave during OD, which is also a combo monster. That seems like a lot. And Ragna got slightly worse but that may just be the game speed and people trying to figure out what to do with Blood Scythe and the new Dead Spike.
Star-Demon Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Well, even though I'll be playing against CT Nu again, at least Mu looks a little less ridiculous.
YukiBlue Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Oh and to top it all off, in-game wise Jin got nerfed while Ragna got buffed. Greeatt. Feels great to be a Jin main!...not.Lol And Star, Mu will still make people baw all day on DL. No nerfs will ever change that.
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Lol And Star, Mu will still make people baw all day on DL. No nerfs will ever change that. ^this
AchedSphinx Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nope, I'm pretty sure the worst thing right now is that Nu has a DP. God help us... Having a DP never stopped anyone from dying easily in P4U, it's the same here. Giving her a DP just makes people respect her slightly more, instead of mindlessly auto-piloting their pressure until she has 50 meter. She can now run away in the air as well the ground with her ridiculous "CT Act Parsers" and when we do manage to finally catch her, we have to put up with a DP? Every Tager and Arakune has died a little on the inside. I don't think it's that GREAT. Sure she has the parsers and a DP, but that's not going to save her as it did in CT. In CT her damage potential was incredible. She had to do little work to gain great damage and she gained heat at a ridiculous rate. Her damage in Nu mode is poor at best and she doesn't gain incredible heat for easy routes into rapid cancel combos. The one thing I do feel bad for, specifically for Tager players, is that her 5DD > 4DD links now. That felt like a troll move back in the day and now it's back. But Tager has improved greatly since then, so I don't think it's even close to bad as it was then.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) Did somebody say Mu?! BAW i was turned of initially, then on, then off massively again. Sounds like scrolling down on Google Images. Edited November 27, 2012 by Ctrlaltwtf

kirbster Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Every Tager and Arakune has died a little on the inside. And every Rachel too -___-
mAc Chaos Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Cant wait to get in dat murakumo ass with H-man. Yeah, it'll be interesting seeing how the matchups are affected by all the changes.
zdravc Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F69xtXVDAwc&feature=youtu.be mother of god... Does the drill super do even more damage because of air dashing instead of running after RC or because of Tager's hitbox?
Rishtopher Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 It continues past the screen, so you just have to keep up with the drills for more damage. EDIT: I didn't get what you meant at first, I think air dashing is faster than running and I would suspect Tager's hitbox has something to do with it too. That said, I think you'd probably get the same results with other characters because of their comparatively lower HP.
The Noble Clap Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F69xtXVDAwc&feature=youtu.be mother of god... Does the drill super do even more damage because of air dashing instead of running after RC or because of Tager's hitbox? The air dashing moves you faster, and being Tager might help too, but you lack sufficient strut. The strut would make them Ragequit and run outside of the arcade, hanging their head in shame, never to return from their disgrace. This might be simultaneously the easiest and hardest kill combo I've ever seen.
Zuranamee Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) edit: nevermind then Edited November 27, 2012 by Zuranamee
The Noble Clap Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 That's in story discussion already. So yeah.
TPPR10 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 People after seeing Amane's chip: I'd rather get hit by his attacks People after seeing Amane's combos: ...We are fucked. His level 3 Drive might as well be called "Anal Drill Mode"
The Noble Clap Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 People after seeing Amane's chip: I'd rather get hit by his attacks People after seeing Amane's combos: ...We are fucked. His level 3 Drive might as well be called "Anal Drill Mode" Theory fighter, but what if we take the level 1 floor drills to the face instead taking the chip, because proration will most likely make it do less damage at the end compared to the brolic chip damage(Like Chris Redfield's flamethrower) and use the barrier to not die from high level drills, because they seem to do about 2~2.5k on hit and about the same on block if not more. Dontkillmetheoryfightersorry
mundus Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Getting to level 3 drill and connect an actual attack with it is not that easy. Also there is barrier, which you should always use vs the drill.
Cryingvoid Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 http://www.famitsu.com/cominy/?m=pc&...diary_id=44532 Has this interview been translated yet?
The Noble Clap Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Getting to level 3 drill and connect an actual attack with it is not that easy. Also there is barrier, which you should always use vs the drill. The idea was to prevent losing too much barrier over time so you don't go into danger state and if actually getting hit does less damage than blocking those chip monster drills. I can't test it yet with lab no jutsu so that's why I'm asking.
abadlime Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 The hell is going on here how did i miss that? funny how he reacted right away.
