Tokkan Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nu and Mu look pretty unchanged which is not good. ... the fuck? Nu's practically an entirely new character with that mode change stuff.
Bedsheets Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nu and Mu look pretty unchanged which is not good. Eh? I have not been following either character closely because I have never mained either of them but, doesn't Nu have like, stances now?
HexaNoid Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Eh? I have not been following either character closely because I have never mained either of them but, doesn't Nu have like, stances now? She does. As well as a bunch of other changes. It's probably best you just ignore that post...
Yazumatto Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Is it sad that my first thought was "How can I blow off my dinner plans tonight?" and not "Oh well, I guess I don't get to see Nu tonight." I'm pretty sure Nu will kill you if you don't go to see her on her prison release date for something as insignificant as "dinner plans".
Zeron_X25 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nu has one new move from the trailer I saw... I don't know about a mode change. Someone give me some info?
SolxBaiken Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Whenever she puts on the Cosmic Halo, she's in her alternate mode.
Tokkan Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nu has one new move from the trailer I saw... I don't know about a mode change. Someone give me some info? Mode change move is called Face Lift, switches between Dia Forma (a Nu-like mode) and Luna Forma (a Lambda-like mode).
Yazumatto Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 To be honest, I couldn't tell what she gained from being in Halo mode. Anyone have an idea?
Surf Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Like Tokkan says its a Lambdalike mode, her 236D becomes multi hit again as opposed to the single screen carry hit she has in her normal mode. And I think she has the act paser(?) attacks added to her movelist when she changes too. Basically its just property changes on her normals and specials
Tokkan Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 To be honest, I couldn't tell what she gained from being in Halo mode. Anyone have an idea? Just from looking at her movelist What she gains in Luna Forma (halo): -Act Parser Zwei, Blade, Cavalier -Calamity Sword (a super) What she loses: -Regular Act Parser -C versions of her D specials -Legacy Edge (the other super) There's much more significant differences, but that's what's immediately apparent from the move list.
Vulcan422 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 (edited) So Lambda Mode basically changes her style from defensive to offensive. Cool. It's so nice knowing that she can no longer use Calamity Sword as a wakeup reversal when in Nu Mode. Edited November 27, 2012 by Vulcan422
HexaNoid Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 EDIT: So Lambda Mode is used for a more offensive playstyle, I assume. Kinda. It feels more like Lambda mode has stronger combo options while Nu mode has better zoning/positioning. I'd go into more detail, but we have a Nu forum with pretty much all the info we have so far if you're really interested guys.

It's so nice knowing that she can no longer use Calamity Sword as a wakeup reversal when in Nu Mode. Her new move is supposedly a DP when she is in Nu mode though so she still has a reversal option.
Afro-Demon Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 bad news for everyone who hates zoning, nu mode has old act parsers. Worse news for the same group, she's reported to be able to do it airborne as well.

Isuna Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Izayoi did shout "zero-shiki shikkou" in the end of that video, meaning "Type Zero, engage/engaging".
Tokkan Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Izayoi did shout "zero-shiki shikkou" in the end of that video, meaning "Type Zero, engage/engaging". I know this line. It's actually 零織……執行!! So that would be Zero-Weave, not Type-Zero. It's part of the quote from this famitsu article. The full quote is 「殉じるは正義……我は断罪者!零織……執行!!」
Afro-Demon Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 I think the worst part we all aren't realizing is that mu-12 now combos into 6C from 6B. I call shenanigans.
Moy_X7 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nope, I'm pretty sure the worst thing right now is that Nu has a DP. God help us...
Starlight777 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Nope, I'm pretty sure the worst thing right now is that Nu has a DP. God help us... She can now run away in the air as well the ground with her ridiculous "CT Act Parsers" and when we do manage to finally catch her, we have to put up with a DP? Every Tager and Arakune has died a little on the inside.
YukiBlue Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 I think the worst part we all aren't realizing is that mu-12 now combos into 6C from 6B. I call shenanigans. That pretty much means a damage nerf, though. If you could do that in EX it would be like 40-50% Life.
SoWL Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Speaking of Bullet. Anything special about her or is just screaming "NO AMMO" / "DORMAMMU" / "MORE RAGU" Everytime she powers up? (Yeah I know it's not what she says....) Basically, her potential for insane meterless combos is as good as Azrael's (okay, maybe a bit worse). However, most Bullet players prefer to sit on their Heat-Up without spending it on D follow-ups, since they're not sure they'll be able to get it again. Three H2 combos are usually enough to knock down anyone, but without abusing it, her damage is sub-par. Her Drive can also be as annoying as Tao's, making it very difficult for the opponent to escape from her pressure, especially when she's in Heat-Up. What makes her Drive better than Tao's is that she becomes fully invincible during the charge if she holds D for long enough.
STenSatsu Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv116905236?ref=ser&zroute=search&keyword=bbcp Live stream up on nico atm. Good Jin and Relius atm both showing off some new combo paths that integrate CTs and new moves.

Seeing her drive made me think if Azrael can just boogyman (Growler Field) Out of her charges bar the one with Invul. Ill give her another look, i was turned of initially, then on, then off massively again.
