Airk Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Wait what. I thought the PS2/3 was always the console to go for if you wanted JP stuff. Except, bizarrely, for shoot-em-ups, where, for whatever reason, a BUNCH of them, made in Japan, are 360 only. It's super weird. The quote, as I remember it, was a wishy-washy "I can't speak about there being a 360 version of the game right now" type of thing, to me it sounded like he was avoiding the question basically. Oh. THAT quote. Yeah. Unless Skye has some very different translation than what the rest of us read, it was a super noncommittal answer, nothing at all along the lines of any "problems" with a 360 release.
bakahyl Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I am not sure if someone has asked this before: can crush triggers be guarded by guard point moves or hakumen's counters?
Osuna Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I am not sure if someone has asked this before: can crush triggers be guarded by guard point moves or hakumen's counters?99% sure that they can.
mAc Chaos Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Only thing Haku counters can't stop is unblockables. CTs are barrier blockable.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I wonder if there are any CTs that are unblockable when fully charged. It'd make sense that they would be imo.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Has a fully charged CT been used yet? ya know, without being punished.
TD Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It'd be ct the game all over again. Rachel + George + Pumpkin + fully charged ct...
EXonestar Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 It'd be ct the game all over again. Rachel + George + Pumpkin + fully charged ct... Thats a scary thought TD.....
Ctrlaltwtf Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 They've already got it programmed into P4A so that you can't use air-unblockables in guard strings, no reason why they couldn't apply this "no comboable unblockables" concept to CTs as well. And CTs take 25% heat everytime, they could also make it so you have Heat gain penalty after using one.
mAc Chaos Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 What happens if you charge the crush trigger enough that it would eat any barrier they have left. Would it just eat all the barrier or eat it and guard break them since it spilled over?

TD means she can lock you down with pumpkin and then break your guard for free since she will have all the time in the world to charge her crush trigger.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) Has a fully charged CT been used yet? ya know, without being punished. I reckon anyone with asynchronous pressure could do it easily. i.e. Relius, Carl, Rachel, Mu, maybe even Litchi (unless she requires her staff in order to CT) TD means she can lock you down with pumpkin and then break your guard for free since she will have all the time in the world to charge her crush trigger. No reason why she couldn't do this already with the Guard Crush properties of CT lol. Lock down pressure > Full charge CT > Guard Crush. In fact a Guard Crush is probably significantly better confirm than an unblockable CT would be. In CSX I'm pretty certain Guard Crush is the best confirm in the game. bakahyl Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Can't Amane do the same with his drill that comes from the ground? I reckon anyone with asynchronous pressure could do it easily. i.e. Relius, Carl, Rachel, Mu, maybe even Litchi (unless she requires her staff in order to CT) Mu isn't able to do that in CP because her totsuka lasers move way too fast and a non charged habakiri only has 1 hit

Mu isn't able to do that in CP because her totsuka lasers move way too fast and a non charged habakiri only has 1 hit I haven't seen her CP version of her laser spam DD, not sure how long you can keep them locked with it + max number of laser cannons.
bakahyl Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) I haven't seen her CP version of her laser spam DD, not sure how long you can keep them locked with it + max number of laser cannons. Not long because the regular lasers have low hitstun and guard stun (but it seems higher in CP than in Extend) and her command laser has increased recovery plus it's traveling speed has been increased so much that you can't hold anyone for long. Edited February 14, 2013 by bakahyl
bakahyl Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 So her DD lazers are useless now? The speed of her DD lasers also have been increased, i don't think you can hold someone long enough to charge a CT even if the steins are spread out very far away. I don't think t's useless seeing that it can be still used for extra damage because the minimum damage on her other DD was nerfed to 800 or 900
E3vE3 WAZ HEA Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Arakune. Curse. Full Charged Crush Trigger. that will be the end of everyone @_@_@
EXonestar Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Arakune. Curse. Full Charged Crush Trigger. Wouldn't that be a waste of his curse meter now, especially since it goes out quicker now. Might as well just combo them.
Skye Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Depends, of you're in the corner and I'm down to my last bugs, why not?
C0R Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Can't Amane do the same with his drill that comes from the ground? Mu isn't able to do that in CP because her totsuka lasers move way too fast and a non charged habakiri only has 1 hit She can just used charged steins or charged habakiri. Using Totsuka on oki also would still give you 100+ frames of advantage.

Arc Raizen Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Yep. Howling Moon is definitely much worse. The power and force behind the guitar is just gone now and bring a generic drumline to the forefront of the main melody was an idiot thing to do that drones out what's left of the guitar.
